Ladygi 33 Posted June 14, 2013 Share Posted June 14, 2013 So, the idea is when you click the little symbol in the left corner of the chat, a little list with the other chat symbols appears, like a shortcut for them. You could also choose which chats you want to be included in the list. As we have many chats now, and the new menu confuses me alot, it would be very helpful. And I barely use most of them, like Info chat, Alliance chat, Trade chat and Area chat. I don't know if it is a good idea, if it is easy to do, if it would be too hard to click on them using touch screen devices. But it's an idea! ;D Maybe make them a little bit bigger.... Keep it! Those are shortcuts, not meant to replace main menu! It could be bigger maybe, but its a good idea. So it would be more organized. As for me, I'd only like to have Party chat, Guild chat and Private chat on my shortcuts. They changed the way the chats are disposed on menu, which causes alot of misclicks, especially when I'm using phone to play. Yes, we will get used to it eventually, that's why I'm saying this isn't a priority. But still it takes "too long" to find the right chat. What if you put them horizontally at the top, replace the chat label with the chat symbols, just make them bigger so it wouldn't be hard to click. The current channel will be highlighted. Keep the menu option ofcourse. Although your current idea only benefits for PC, on touch screen you'd probably miss click the wrong channel multiple times, wasting your time, since they are too small. If you make them bigger then they will just take up unnecessary space. Plus on PC you can simply use F1 and F2. It takes me 1 second to switch channels on PC and 2 seconds to switch on Mobile.
