Every class in the game can stop you from normal attacking, attack speed is applied when you hit multiple consecutive shots ( ~more than 3-4 shots ), the most important thing is the animation - how long it takes you to do something. Attack speed does not affect this. +Plus, skills that have animations reset your swing timer = reducing your speed. For slower attacks this actually benefits though. Rangers now have 2 damaging skills and 1 CC that have animations. An animation basically resets your swing timer thus resetting your consecutive shots.

 

[spoiler=point #2]Another thing is the stats. You sacrifice a lot of accuracy for speed. A missed hit means you don't do anything at all. What happens to your attack speed then? It's all wasted. Don't think I have to explain this further.

 

[spoiler=point #3]Another another thing is Rangers high burst on skills. You have Blessing, which gives you a chance to do an extra normal hit when you do a normal hit or use Powerful shot, Scatter shot or Fire arrow, all which resets your swing timer with an animation.

 

[spoiler=point #4]Another another another thing is the base damage. Using a bow you are sacrificing chance to not miss your shot compared to using a crossbow and losing speed, same thing, eh? Then there's skill animations that affect/reset your swing timer.

It takes 1 second for the animation to end. The speed difference between a bow and a crossbow is approximately 1 second. In the end you will most likely get 0 or 1 extra hits due to speed from a full combo with a bow compared to a crossbow because of these animations. Don't believe? Killurselfm8.

Another thing is also your skills. They scale with your damage. Nuff said. Lad.

 

[spoiler=but then]But then all of that wall of text was irrelevant. Thanks to Blessing, speed will benefit cause you have a chance to kill your target in 2 normal hits and 1 powerful shot only. Meaning you could kill your enemy before he even acts if you have insane attack speed.

And we forgot that Crossbow's damage is so fking arserape that it only takes 1 normal hit and 1 powerful shot if you proc blessing on both.

 

[spoiler=oh fk]But then we all forgot the most important thing, that rangers don't really need that much thinking to play since you have a chance to delete your enemy thanks to blessing. It only takes a ranger 2-5 seconds to luckily drop someone to the ground regardless of weapon or having negative resilience. Meaning every single letter wrote before this is completely irrelevant and pointless.

 

[spoiler=HOLY FK NO]But then this is Warspear, a mobile MMORPG where spending more miracle coins or working your arse off so hard that you wouldn't even have an arse is what makes you stronger, MEANING YOU JUST WASTED A SHITLOAD OF TIME M8.

On dps probably. But dmg, attack speed and stats vary. When kiting, bow is probably better but nuking down healers is easier with xbow.

Well there you have it.. the cbow is good for pvp 

 

cbow better for pvp any class that not heal,but bow better to healers......(my opinion)

maybe if ur oponent use an shield bow better too

I vote Crossbow because it has more damage than bow.

 

Many player said, bow has a more attackspeed than crossbow, but for me there is no different speed between bow and crossbow.

 

You look now, more than 80% ranger choose crossbow than bow

i think if u are 5/5 scatter 5/5 blessing with 3/5 trap and 4/4 cage bow better, bcs u can hold the ennemy quite long to use ur speed quite well.

 

If not i think xbow really better, especially when u got several dmg expert skills, and 5/5 blessing, bcs then u do more dmg with skills and also more dmg with the blessing's shots so u can rape ur ennemy fast just by spamming skills.

 

bow is hard bcs need to have stun build, but notice that with dmg accessory u notice less the dmg difference between both weapons so bow can be excellent.

 

Personnaly i prefer arbalest bcs with 5/5 blessing and powerful shot it's si fun to double shot smbdy by doing Powerful shot+blessing additionnal shot+normal shot+blessing additionnal shot with a few crit XD (do not have expert skills atm, but add fire shot and hail of arrows XD). Especially in arena when u can focus shots with ur mate.
