    Secret Reserves:
    Modified the skill’s effect. Previously, the skill increased the “Health regeneration” attribute and applied the healing effect every few seconds. Now the skill increases the numerical value of health regeneration and the rate of health regeneration by 75-100-140-180%, depending on the level of skill development. Increased the cooldown of the skill from 90 to 120 seconds.

    In this topic i will be talking about the many mechanics and behaviors of the death knight skills
    In this one i will be talking about dk most iconic skill Dark Shield

    As the skill describe, with some chance it ignore damage in accordance with your defense
    leveling the skill does not increase the amount of damage the skill ignore, but it only increase the chance for the ignore to happen
    when activated the skill will calculate your armor and give you a buff that ignore damage in accordance with that armor value
     
    now the real catch with this skill is that it does not calculate your armor constantly (or when ever you get hit)
    but only when the skill is activated!

    as you can see in the video, i activated the skill when i had my gear on and a armor value of 7800
    then i took my armor off and started getting hit, you can immediately notice that i still get 0 damage although my armor is 0
    that because the skill got activated when i had armor
    but the moment i activate the skill again, it calculate my new armor value, which is 0 and i get hit constantly to death
    without getting the 0 damage
     
    this information can be really useful to know in a lot ways
     
    first of all be sure to activate the skill when your armor is at its highest value
    like when you are effected by shaman earth protection
    or when you are under the effect of scrolls and potions
    use skill aura of hatred then dark shield for extra protection is also useful
     
    another cheesy strategy is to have PvE gear then use dark shield then switch back to PvP gear
    giving that your PvE gear give more armor, making the skill more useful although your armor not as high
     
    one last thing
    make sure to not reactivate dark shield without making sure your armor is at its highest
    as activating the skill again will reset the buff with the armor new value

    Nowadays if maxed saturation gives you enough ammount of LS. The real problem of that skill is the -10% of hps; nowadays a tank easily reaches 6k hps, and taking off 600 hps for a skill is quite a lot, especially if that skill lasts a bit more than 10 seconds. This skill definitely needs an improvement.

    Last expert skill of Death Knight, which is Bloody Protection, is very useless, because it works after Dark Shield skill and its effect reduces quite. Here is an example tried on a green mob in third town of Ayvondil; mob hits me normally 178 without Dark Shield (5/5), it hits 46. After that, I use Bloody Protection (4/4- %50 reduction on dmg) andmob hits me 23. I cannot think a DK without 5/5 Dark Shield, it is best skill of Death Knight. But if a DK has Dark Shield, using other expert is really very useless even if it is 4/4. Moreover, last expert's effect time is so short. It has 8 seconds on effect on 4/4, and its cooldown is 22 seconds. This situation also makes new skill useless. Consequently, Ithink new skill needs to work before Dark Shield, so it will be more useful. Also, its effeckt time may be extended too. Please work on it. Thanks.

    Arena level divisions should be strict. Otherwise people use this option and make an unfair fight. For example, a lvl 25 player could win lvl (25-28) arena season without fighting any lvl 28 player in a single match. These noobs use this tactic to win in up to 3 different division.They make a pt with lvl 22-24-25 players and get advantage in lvl(20-22) , lvl(22-24) and lvl(25-28) division. It doesn't make sense.
     
    If you are a lvl28 player who tries to get an arena season award and there are other lvl 25 players who use this nonsense option in arena, you have no chance to block him, the one who spams more "Win-Lose" wins the rewards.

    After around 5 years of playing, on and off ive decided to quit the game. For a few reasons.
     
    1. Unbalance, yes the game has been balanced quite a few times with classes being nerfed and buffed accordingly, but the unbalance that im talking about is the difference between spenders and non spenders. I know you need money to develop the game and i know many more companies which have spending issues much more insane than AiGrind so i applaud you on that.
     
    But despite this, it is still very diffult for new players to progress in the game, not only is getting new items very very diffcult, there are no proper guides or walkthroughs on hoe to play warspear. Sure, the game help you in the first few quests, by directing you in ehat to do, but aside from that its very difficult. The game is unable to keep players, most players probably quit before they even get to irselnort.
     
    I personally enjoy late game much more when your gear is well amped and in general its much more fun than being low level. But to get to a decent position in the game takes way too damn long, players quit because it takes so much effort, time and frustration just to complete a town's quests. 
     
    2. Community, the warspear community is somewhat less toxic when it comes to communities especially when comparing them to games like League of legends and World of Warcraft. But despite this, the game community is still very unfriendly and promotes a dog eat dog world/society. MMORPG's are places where players collaborate to help each other, but the game doesnt offer many places where people are needed for their ability to connect and doesnt award people who help others.
     
    The game doesnt encourage helping in many ways, no drops for high levels in low level dungeons (Even spheres and pots), Takes lots of time to walk to different maps, switching islands takes gold that accumulates easily into a lot of it. Thus, players who are new feel a sense of disconnection and unwant in general, not able to gain help to defeat a boss on the first isle and the game gets uninstalled. 
     
    One way that developers could correct this eould be to give terrible drops or achievements in helping others. Not only would this bring the community together with newbies but also promote more positive gameplay. Because the current game status is where the overpowered players spam with their own guild. While regular players are never invited or rarely ever participate. basically. if you arent in the top guild, you wont get anywhere very quickly.
     
    World chat is also a big problem for the game, where racial slurs and constantly mumbled with no consequences, very surprising since the same word could get your channel banned on twitch. The profanity filter should be on NO MATTER WHAT, and constantly swearing or being racist should be penalised with chat bans or perma account bans. Action has to be taken against those who share accounts, and promote a negative gameplay style, more has to be done to keep players from leaving this very quittable game.
     
    3. Boredom/ Repetition, warspear online rarely has event nowadays, one at spring, halloween and christmas, with a double drop event every 2 months or so. But in between these time periods there is nothing interesting to do, after you have maxed reputation, completed all crafts, done all quests, maxed gear, there is simply nothing to do. There is no goal to attain after a certain level as nothing grabs your attention. Few people actually continue to quest at t1~t2 avyondil after reaching 1.8k reputation as the grind simply isnt worth it, and doing marakosh/ pelion (elf) every single day becomes repetitive especially when you go with similar people each day.
     
    Not only are quests, dungeons and maps uninteresting as the game goes on. Classes also become boring, nothing is ever experimented in warspear as they are never viable to begin with. There is a reason nobody maxes explosive trap on ranger, because it sucks. There is a reason there are never any full block paladins, because they get outscaled, outclassed and outdamaged by so many better options. Why are there no full dodge rangers, or full parry bladedancers? Because these stats are completely overruled by much more overbearing stats like damage, defence and lifesteal. 
     
    4. Effort, skill capping. The game becomes very boring for most people because this game does not reward players for skill, this game is almost 99% pay to win because as long as you have good gear stomping the enemy is much easier. You will never see a +5 mage defeat a +9 kage or same items, not only because is no skill required in casting spells but also because the damage a +9 mage does is significantly higher than a +5 one. It does not matter how well the weaker mage plays, he will still be called a noob for losing. Sure, you may have to be able to cast your stuns on deathknight in the correct order but do you think a +5 dk could kill a +9 dk of same items? No, Impossible.
     
    One way devs could fix this issue would be to make skills non targetting, thus eliminating a continuos stun if the enemy could dodge them. Not only would this bring much more skill based gameplay, it would cause fights to become much more intense, reward players for skill, and better amped players would still have an advantage though less important because of it.
     
    Ive ranted for quite a bit now and my fingers are beginning to hurt from this typing. Ill probably move to a game that rewards skill much more than power, a game that encourages good behaviour, a game that treats all players fairly, a game where players feel glad to be a part of.
     
    Ill still roam these forums for unsuspecting fools to assassinate, but apart from that, i will rarely ever login again to my account, i wish you guys all the best of luck. Thanks for making these past 5 years a good experience, Daria, Julie, Peter_Munk, R0land, and all other admins, for the other dedicated players and forum stalkers, to in game friends and those who i have spent time with.

    Dear sir,
    I would give a suggestion about the mechanism of crafting achievement. After the update of new heroes, so many people creating new hero including me. Meanwhile, the craft lv increased by 2 too. Which mean, takes long time to get max craft achievement (medal) if we don't spend mcoin too much. Also for old heroes which they are still lv 17 (craft) or below, they must continue crafting until lv 20. It's lucky for people who have done craft achievement since lv 16. 
     
    This is my suggestion: Make craft achievement same as player lv achievement.
    Example:
    Melee Craft I - Complete melee craft task until lv 5
    Melee Craft II - Complete melee craft task until lv 10
    Melee Craft III - Complete melee craft task until lv 15
    Melee Craft IV - Complete melee craft task until lv 20
    So all players could achieve their medal although they are not yet lv 20 for each type of craft.

    Dear sir,

    Yup. Most annoying thing in my opinion is world chat, people are shouting to each other "gay" all the time - pisses me off, community in warspear online is hands down most immature I have ever seen.

    There's a gap between the dk skills. Yes, its annoying to be a dummy and only waiting until the pvp is over. But now I can fight continously stun dk eventhough there is no cd reduction in my gears. "Avoid" the hit and use normal dmg when stunned by blow of silence. I'm sure you will find the key soon. Something made ws imbalance is "ferocity", high dmg bd with fero and high lifesteal could be easy to kill a dk.

    I will post one by one. And describe the boss one by one.
     
    8 things you must know to Lab:
    1.Always kill Parasite, it's only has 400 hp but the attack make you run slower.
    2.Do not use earth after crossing, because you will become the mobs target.
    3.Do not use panic at boss. Exceptional.
    4.Look back after cross, wait until your pt crossing.
    5.Always attract mobs when healer targeted by mobs.
    6.NEVER TAKE A CHEST EXCEPT YOUR PT IS PRO.
    7.No chat. If isn't necessary.
    8.Do not blaming each other, because teamwork is number one.
     
    B1 (Messenger Archon)

    To kill Archon the pt must be like the pict above. All to left bottom corner.
    Tank pulls the boss and attacks fast. So all mobs won't attack your healer.
    Stun mobs after finish kill Archon. Tanker runs and kill Etheral Parasite below.
     
    B2 (Scarabs Empress)

    After you cross to this area give shield to tank, and tank running through the mobs while attract the boss.
    Go to right bottom corner and kill it. Do not use panic skill at boss. Because the tank will follows his target.
     
    B3 (Powerful Torturer)

    Kill mobs at upper boss first. There's a chest there, bring all mobs to corner and kill
    After you kill, tanker goes down to right bottom corner. Tanker kill two mobs below the boss, while healer attack b3. Will be there a ranger mob attacking healers, pull it and attack without magic.
     
    B4 (Stranger Senator)

    Bring all mob and boss like in the pict, pull the boss closer to tank. All focus attack boss, you can use panic here. Panic the further mobs!
     
    B5 (Medusa)

    If your pt reach this area just run to right corner, kill all mobs. Then one player pulls one mob near the boss other one pulls the boss. Just look at the pict. The healer is tank, and damager kills mobs around pt. I ask my pt to focus attacking the boss, then I kill the mobs. They should heal me when my HP is low.
     
    B6 (Echidna)

    I prefer to do it last if daily lab. Because this is the hardest boss. Tank come to center and pulls boss, all player must attack fast without magic. No earth, no panic, or else that can make the target changed.
    All healer just healing tank. NO NOOB MOVE! I told u guys.
     
    B7 (Blazing Anax)

    Easier than Echidna. After your pt cross, kill Anax's Blood. Then Necro use shield and come down to attracts Anax. The position same with the pict. The damager shouldn't there like me, I just taking SS. Lol.
    The damager must not attack Anax. But killing Anax mobs around pt.
     
    B8 (Blue Eye)

    Although my lv was 24 but still hard to kill this boss within 2 healers. When you cross to this area you'll meet "Bodiless" mobs just pass trough them and get to second mobs near Blue eye. Kill those all and tank run to up left corner, the healers must protect the tank and don't attack any mobs. If the boss still attacks tanker you all should pull the Eye until evade. Or, all healers attack the Blue eye fast so the target changed. The role of the tank is kills all low hp mobs. Please look at the pict.
     
    B9 (Red Eye)

    Same steps with Blue Eye, just look at the pict. After you kill Blue eye, there is short way to go Red eye. Cross to down left corner. After you and your pt cross, cross again to up left corner. There is more space to evade the boss there.

    Lv 1-14 Try put 5/5 on Dark Shield and Thorn of Death
    Lv 15-18 Put 3/5 Provocation (PvE esp for dungeon), 2/5 Exhalation of Darkness 2/5 Threads of Darkness (PvP)
     
    Why my dk doesn't have magic damage? About 2 years ago Exhalation can crit, but dev changes made Exhalation can't crit anymore. DK mdmg skills not OP as pala, and takes long time to cast so people can stun before DK mdmg skill comes out. And if you have mdmg for your dk that will reduce the pdmg. So, mdmg is bad for DK? No, not really, you can combine your dk with magic accessories which they have block, dodge, hp regen. High pdmg doesn't mean we will win a PvP easily, avoiding enemy attacks better than you hit much dmg and recieve high dmg too.
     
    That's my DK, you can ask me about how to build your DK. Altough my DK isn't pro, but I can tell you about the skill, eqp, etc.
    You can ask me to PVP if ya want comparing your char. DK or Barb accepted. Current lv 28
