doobienights 0 Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 Hi guys, i've attached a screenshot of my lvl14 dk's stat and equips. right now i'm still working to get a lvl17 arena shield and lvl17 belt but my plan is to equip him with heroic endurance helm and chest armor then lvl17 arena gears on everything but still def enchants. what are your thoughts about this? thanks. edit: one more thing. what do you guys think about putting atk spd enchants on glves boots and armor? Bloodylipa 1 Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Shield wielders unumber one weakness is terrible acc, atleast mine is stuck at 10%. So I wouldn't use atk speed on gloves, they need acc bad. For boots and armor however I use atk speed crystals, just make sure you can balance your mp-consumption for a low mp pool. Def enchants rock PvE, but for PvP resi is a unbalanced stat - far superior. Raising resi on a tank can be tricky since theirs no arena gear tweeked for shields. PvP fights resi runes will reduce more dmg then def runes. It's just a sad fact. Maybe with new gear for 20+ ppl might haft to leave unbalanced and boring full resi gears. Quote

I out-tank your full +10 no problem, 3% def reduction it's nothing. PvE tank is not about having 6k def. It needs far more stat balancing. Quote
