    Scouting with skills can be very hard when every class has defensive relics activated 24/7, like captivity etc.

    No ferocity? I think you should look more closely. He is using a lvl29 arena staff, +10 btw. That's already 23.7% ferocity. +5% ferocity from the arena books.

     

    So that's 28.7% ferocity, and a +10 staff. That's the best you could ask for on a caster for damage.

    Every faction should visuals that appeals to their in game culture. It only makes sense as people should be able to see which class or race their enemy is 

     

    Many years ago each different faction had their own unique colour of magic bolts for casters. Forsaken had red bolts, Chosen yellow, and i think the mountain clan and firstborns both had blue. O.o

     

    Idk why they ever removed this, it was pretty cool imo, so i have to agree with with you guys aswell, they should definitely consider adding things like these again. I think each faction having their own unique theme akin to on their islands in map1 and different features is really nice.

    Mcs are winning? lol, mcs don't stand a chance. Let's be real here. The only reason why mcs are what you refer to as "winning", is because a the only strong mc guilds left, have made alliances with 80% of the elven guilds, in a desperate attempt to survive.

     

    And one of the multiple deals included in this alliance, is for the elf guilds to stay out of the battle for territories:peace:

     

    So basically it's 1 or 2 sentinel guilds, vs the whole legion side. And even with that, the legion side still loses sometimes.:sunning:

     

    Is this how the game was designed to be played? what's fun about the legion side winning a war versus a mere fraction of the sentinels true power? lol. It's not even seen as a "war" anymore. Just an event to join for free buffs.

    Im not really surprised about this mindset of yours and others on the forums. But i don't blame you or them honestly, because in the end it all comes down to the owners, developers, managers and moderators of the game. They don't seem to care about what's being written on these forums, so why should the players care?:artist:

     

    But at least you have a suggestion, about unifying the servers, which i also think would be a good idea.

    Legion in server US why not better move to EU? They are enjoying the game better than yours, the best thing what you can do is move to other server with decent population of Legion, is an idea.

    Anyway for events they depends of you for complete stages, Imagine them doing everthing without Legion players.

    In my opinion you are only there to keep those Sentinels still playing there. Developers aren't going block Sentinels population.

     

    The sad truth. I also know many that went from US to EU. I've even made a post about server transfers too, but everything is ignored here.:cry:

     

    The state of the game is only getting worse and worse with no signs of any changes. So let's just see where this path leads us.

    You need understand too US sapphire have bad reputation in Legion side so is normal see those players move to Sentinels or EU Emerald 

    For restore US developers should make more updates to make this game funny and DECENT playability but right now still impossible. Many complain in forum about a lot of things not fixed and only mcoiners can enjoy and keep alive this game

    I understand. I am trying to help US-Sapphire aswell with this entire post aswell.

     

    Personally i just think it's wrong for us players to have to go out of our way, and try to get our servers active somehow. From what i can tell SEA-Pearl seems to be dying aswell. It's the ones that manage the games job to make sure their servers are active and healthy etc.....

     

    So why aren't they doing anything about it? Why do WE have to? There are hundreds of posts about these issues.

    They won't even make server transfers a thing. Nor will they merge any servers. And as we all know, starting over on another server means many years, even decades for some, worth of money, time and hard work down the drain, and who wants to throw all of that away? Not to mention the friends, connections, experiences and memories built up through all these years...... It seems like things like these aren't respected enough, so they expect everyone to just start fresh on new servers if they have a problem with their current server.     I've seen posts about Sapphire legion side being underpopulated, many years back, and the issue still stands, and it seems to only be getting worse.

     

    So basically switching servers is "technically impossible" even though it's possible in every other game. Merging is too troublesome they say. But we all know it's possible as it happens every time they put up a test server. But for some reason, which i didn't really invest much time in reading, they won't merge any servers. So all of these things are impossible it seems. So if we can't do any of this, how about fixing the servers we are currently on, so we don't have to ask about these things? Seems like there won't be done anything about that too😏

    Exactly.. I feel like many of us just want to confirm if anything is going to be done about it. It's not fun playing on a side that is dying, and it's even less fun having to spend money, not being sure if it's all going to be a waste or not pretty soon.

     

    And many are mentioning certain things, directing most of the responsibility for this on the playerbase. The thing is, each player does have a certain responsibility to be friendly and act like a normal human being etc. But it's not our job to make sure the server is healthy, and it's not our job to try and retain the remaining playerbase.

     

    For many this game is about logging in and having a good time with friends, or competing with others etc. It's not supposed to be a second job, where we have to worry about things such as the dying playerbase all the time, and what we can do to counter that problem. So it's about time we got some help with that?

    Also what about wars and gvgs... it's going to be 1 guild vs 10

    neither side is "underpopulated" because you can create a character to either side but other side might just have more active players and that is up to players themselves

     

    It is underpopulated.... I've been on the server for years and years, and i can tell, along with most of the other players left there, that legion side is currently at the worst it's ever been. Hence me making this post.

     

    The guilds that used to be the strongest, can no longer compete like they used to.

    You're right about the option being there, but only few actually use that option.. And it doesn't solve much of the problem at hand... How is this going to help with the already fractured, and still declining population in legion? The elf side toxicity too, why aren't they underpopulated?

  10. I don't know if toxicity is the main problem to the underpopulation we are experiencing on sapphire(Legion).. but if it is, id sure like there to be done something about it. Whatever the problem is, it needs to be looked at, and dealt with!

    By gms you mean game managers perhaps? what can they do here on the forums?

     

    For years there has been posts about the dying side on Sapphire, and nothing has been done yet to counter that issue. It's only getting worse and worse.

    Now we can't do anything to get our guild back because of people wanting to dominate the server. It's pointless arguing. What we as a alliance should do is think of how to fight against the enemy alliance as thats what a faction pvp game should do.

    I agree 100% that there are certain things, that certain people have done to ruin the legion side, and push many people away. The toxicity is unreal. And i am very sorry about what happened to TheForlorn. Such a shame. But then again, my only problem with that statement is, it is still the games fault. It's their job to keep the servers healthy and deal with the issues, in any way they can, right?

     

    They HAVE to do something at this point!

     

     

  13. So this will probably be post #200 about this particular subject, namely, the lack of players on the US-Sapphire legion side.

     

    Im really interested in knowing if there are any plans at all to counter/fix this issue at all? People are leaving the legion side/server in droves because of the lack of activity, and any sign of hope left.

    As you can see, it's the usual 3 struggling legion guilds, vs 7 sentinel guilds.

     

    It has been like this in the guild tournament for almost a year now, maybe even longer. Just 3 legion guilds in top10 at best. But the population problem has been there since forever. Why?

     

     

     

     

    The worst part is, there is such bad activity on legion side, that these 3 guilds can't even compete against the sentinel ones in events like Mermen Trials, or most other events. They just can't get enough players online for the events, and therefore have to join lower level guilds to be able to spam the mermen dungeon. And let's not even get started on the battle for territories...

     

     

     

     

    So what's the plan going on forward?

    Yeah that's another issue also.. Forcing people to stay on a dead server ruins their experience basically. And more often than not, they end up leaving the game entirely. Not starting a new character on their preferred server.

    What i meant is for the devs to make sure warlocks don't do the forbidden, and have any kind of useful power or advantage over someone else. To make sure warlocks will always be disadvantaged😂

    Warlocks are controllers with very high survivability and one of the most easiest classes to play so it was really important to introduce some of these changes.
     

     


    Warlock commentary: The defining skill of the warlock that displayed too much efficiency especially in mass battles. Since the resist parameter doesn't exist in game, it was important to increase the cooldown. Adding onto the fact that, the other side does not have many aoe stun skills, the developers did really well in nerfing this skill.

    Suggested change: I personally feel that the cooldown of 20s is too low as this would still let the warlock use the skill every 15s or so. The cooldown of this skill should be increased to 40s since it's a really powerful skill that stuns so many as compared to Templar's reverse flow, paladin fetters and other sentinel AOE stun classes. This would greatly benefit the balance on both factions.
     

      


    Warlock commentary: As we're all aware, one of the most powerful skills of the warlock that silenced many enemies at a time while reducing their magic def, this skill was just asking for a nerf. Since one nerf of this skill wasn't good enough, it's only right it takes a hit another time. Again, locks don't have to worry because since we're losing key skills the developers have made sure there's a subsequent increase in other skills of the lock,

    Suggested change: Increase the duration of the skill back to 12s. But it shouldn't be used very often by locks, since warlocks never get stunned in GvGs so increase the cooldown from 30s to 50s. Reduce magic defense reduction from 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 > 2 / 3 / 4 / 5. It's only fair as zero's at the wrong place could have drastic effects. It's also important to push all enemies in the zone out of it every 2s so they don't get silenced often.
     

      


    Warlock commentary: The best healing skill in game upto date. To be fair increasing the numbers on this skill by 10% on both sides is a bit too much in my opinion as this skill works brilliantly alone without any combinations of other skills. It's been known to heal warlocks from low hp to full hp instantly especially in arena battles and GvGs with just 1 click of a button. I have seen bladedancers attacking locks for over 10 mins but not able to outdmg this awesome heal skill.

    Suggested change: Decrease the range of the skill from 4 yards to 1 yard since healing so much in arena from so far is not ideal. Make a 3 skill combination of weakness zone, grimoire and exhaust. Now, the enemy must have both (zone + grimoire) debuff at the same time to activate the extra healing effect of this skill.

     

      

    Warlock commentary: The best talent on the warlock skill tree that's worth every grind in knowledge. I mean who doesn't want 2.5% damage reduction that stacks to 5 buffs almost instantly without depending on grimoire? It's good that there is a max number of stacks otherwise all locks would have accumulated this talent within seconds of its use making them extremely tanky with 12.5% damage reduction. It's almost a passive skill.

    Suggested change: Similar to exhaust change, this talent should not activate without a 3 skill combination.
     

      

     

    Warlock commentary: One of the key skills of warlock that everyone invests skill points in due to it's massive AOE damage. But still since warlock lost a little bit of their key controls, it's only fair they get compensated by 18% in this department. In PVE, this change might increase the pool damage from 240 per tick to 2400 per tick as we all know zero's work differently for locks. Not to mention in the PVP department, the skill might change from 50 to 5000 damage per tick with this increase creating a massive imbalance.

    Suggested changes: This skill should not just be resisted, when more than 2 enemies are in the affected area, Harad himself descends to erase this skill and increase it's base cooldown by 12 minutes.
     

     


    Warlock commentary: Decent skill. No comments.
    Suggested changes: No comments.
     

     

    Warlock commentary: Best life saving skill. Period. There have been rumors that staring at a lock in stone body reduces the reaction time and IQ of the enemy player behind the character to perform repetitive tasks. One of the few skills that carry over it's effect to beyond the screen.

    Suggested changes: Pulls all enemies in a 5x5 radius around the warlock towards it. This effect cannot be resisted.. Alternatively, reduce the heal from 4/6/8/10 every 2s > 1/2/3/4 every 2s but increase duration of the skill to 2/ 3/ 4/ 5 MINUTES. This helps the player grab a glass of water or make a cup of coffee as we all know sometimes we need a break from the game and hey, why not right after stone body?
    Also suggest renaming this skill to "Coffee break".
     

    Warlock commentary:  Another relatively easy and practical skill combination of locks. One of the most popular skills that's been rightfully buffed. There have been cases were a lock has applied hex and the enemy has waited patiently for 8s as a sign of respect so locks could apply this skill and achieve high damage reduction.

    Suggested changes: This skill shouldn't work at all if power of relaxation is not on. Enough said.
     


    Warlock commentary: This 1 and 2 unit reductions in mana regen cost might help locks to switch out all regen crystal on accessories with pene ones. Might want to reconsider the numbers.

    Suggested changes: Since warlock playstyle is too simple, I propose to mix things up a bit. If any of these skills are used consecutively, then the warlock instantly loses 50% of his mana. This will encourage the use of complex analytical and statistical models by lock players thereby contributing to the field of science and mathematics which is something no other class can boast about.

    VISUAL CHANGES: The :troll: emoji is sometimes not readily available for free to play players. So I have a suggestion that might make it more accessible to everyone. Every time an enemy resists a warlock skill, the :troll: emoji should pop up.

    @Holmes I know you're flooded by tons of messages messages about the rebalance but if you could use google translate to include these suggestions too, the entire warlock community would be ever so greatful.

    I 100% support these suggested changes. This should really give the sentinel side especially, a very very small but needed chance to actually beat the famed and glorious warlocks.

     

    Warlocks have been ruling the game for far too long. EVERYONE knows that. A few days ago i saw a single warlock completely and utterly annihilate a dozen or so elves all by himself. That is so unacceptable, and something needs to be done about it immediately!

     

    I would also like to add a new suggestion to this post. I think a new class passive skill for warlocks needs to be implemented.

     

    Something along the lines of: "Every successful cc, results in a -95% cooldown-rate for 8seconds"

    It should be added to warlocks exclusively, similarly to the +3 mana reg race talent.

     

    Just to completely make sure warlocks don't do the forbidden again.

    no offence taken but u are simply whining about nothing here...!!!!

     

    You missed your first dark circle, got a fear off successfully. And somehow the bd then got stunned out of nowhere, probably the minions you guys used. You then failed to pull off Fading+Pool not only once, but twice, and somehow that bladedancer kept getting stunned alot and feared 1 or 2 times, by a third party. And that wasnt you. So don't go calling it "the control of warlocks".
