  1. 1) Yes, you're absolutely right, it's a system used in many games. But do you pay the same amount of $ there as in warspear? Go do the math on the cost of just 300sets of signs, 300sets of dmg3 and with an amplification fee of 800 to around 1500(arena staffs cost this much right?) gold for every amplification. (300sets is probably the average to get staffs +10. Some people use over 600sets. Think about that for a moment) 2) You said it yourself. Junk. you get 1 or 2 craft mats and 2 pots. if i did 1000runs with these junk drops it wouldn't even amount to 50k gold. Not even gonna comment further on this. Im sure everyone else realizes how bad the drops are, even if you don't. 3) i've been playing for around 8 years, and i've yet to drop a book or anything valuable that made up for the seekers / minions / buffs / revive scrolls / repair scrolls / time etc etc etc. that i've used over the years. I mentioned in this post that i did 900runs in a week this last spring, when it was 3x droprate i think it was. I have screenshots if you'd like to see. So im no "free stam dg spammer" i use a shit ton of seekers when there are good drops like books in the dungeons. The spring dg gave us a 4h stam regeneration rate. So i didnt spam with just seekers. Let's be generous and remove 100runs. Even though it doesnt amount to that. 800 stams = 160 seekers x 5k gold = 800k That's just one week out of many years. Ofcourse this case is extreme since i broke any spam record i ever did So where are all the books and costumes? Even if i got a book it wouldn't make uo for what's lost. It's just like amplification. Once again, full of inconsistencies. Spend and pray. I remember spamming bg myth for a speed book once. Did 80 runs and never dropped anything. Some guy joined us for the last few runs, and got the speed book on his 2nd run. Lucky guy right? Why arent the ones making an effort / paying getting rewarded? atleast ensure us some valuable reward for spamming at all 4) It's super easy to get gold? without spending? You mention reselling signs. Who bought those signs? and with what? You're technically relying on $ being spent for you to make gold. You're exploiting mccoin users wanting quick cash to sell it for more later. I keep seeing these empty arguments being used everywhere on the forums everytime there's a suggestion they dont like. "The devs need food on their tables, the devs have bills, the devs need their salaries" and im honestly tired of trying to explain how it shouldn't matter to you Why do you care about the devs bills? sigh It's the devs own problem if they can't pay their salaries or get food on their tables my guy. It's an unforgiving world. Survival of the fittest and all get it? No players = No warspear. It's their job to satisfy us. Not the other way around. If you want to donate everything you have for the devs and secure their future etc. without anything in return, go right ahead. But i don't, and hopefully many feel the same way. Im here for their product, if they deliver, fine, take my money. If they don't, too bad, they won't get a penny. Do i have to explain further? i've mentioned it a few times before, you can go back and read that aswell if you want. Nobody said they need to make +10 achievable with 1 set. Please read the suggestions mentioned here already... The problem is the absurd amount of signs and other valuables needed to amplify, with no real garauantee. Unbelievable inconsistencies and no respect for peoples money. And about the "use a few sets every other day or every weekend" and the "use tour sugns" strategies, iknow a few people that've been at it for years, so don't think it makes a difference, if the system is truly chance based, it would'nt matter WHAT you did, you could undergo 10 rituals before amping for all i care, wouldn't change nothing. Yes i don't need to be maxed, but i want to Is that asking for too much?? Do we have to make a deal with the devil for that? sell our souls? sheesh Most of these things have already been mentioned previously. If you'd like, go check them out.
  2. Honestly, when i look at steam ratings, both the good and bad ratings, are mostly people complaining that it's p2w. I honestly think they're aware of the problem, even with the system checking coinshop activity or not. The problem would be, as mentioned, that nobody actually has enough influence to do anything about it. I get your point now, and im glad that we're on the same page now. I just hope my post, and everyone elses, on this matter, will gain more attention and be taken seriously. My post may or may not have been good enough, but atleast we open peoples eyes and shed light on this issue. Someone else might come up with a different and better idea, id be ready to support that if realistic ofc.. And yeah im aware of the EULA and rules of conduct.. maybe i should take a look sometime xD Nobody said that allright, but the problem is i keep seeing people caring more about the devs bills and salaries than their OWN, and using that excuse to justify paying thousands of dollars to them, and accepting any and every injust and "wrong" decision the devs might've taken. And that's a huge problem. Too many people wasting way too much money in this game. They forget about themselves and other players it seems. Hope you got my point. I just have a hard time understanding how the amount spent amounts to effort because in the end it can end up deciding nothing. One can spend 100$ and another 1000$ and end up with just the same result. This means effort effectively means nothing. it's just chance based... Great let's hear what he has to say! You're right, i apologize for that A simple google search "triple a games" would give u hundreds of examples.. I would rather the game had a subscription but much easier amp rates tbh. it's just too inconsistent imo. f2p monetization is a way to offer you better things and faster in games. Problem is even when you pay you might not get any results. And some pay thousands, others hundreds.
  3. I get what you're saying, and you're completely right. Only high profile people like youtubers would be able to have any real impact. But still i feel like my post has a purpose, im no big youtuber or social media influencer to have a say in anything, and im not about to make a whole video about it. So this is the only way i can complain really And it should still serve it's purpose. The interested ones would still be reading this... but as far as changing anything goes, probably won't happen yeah, but we have to try atleast.. This may inspire others to take action and stand up for themselves etc. xD And just as yourself, the social aspect of the game plays the biggest part for me. Wouldn't care about this game if not for that part. And im sure this is true with most ws players. I dont exactly know any admin/dev names to tag them, but i saw one of them react to one of my posts in here So they're watching i bet. But do they care? probably not. I've not been particularly objective and calm myself with some of my posts, so hope they can look past that atleast if they decide to read this
  4. What do you mean "stop complaining" lmfao. I have every right to complain, suggest or do whatever i want like it or not. With that mindset of yours, it's no wonder the game has reached this state... But the forums exist for these purposes. It may be very hard for you to face the truth and iknow you're very upset, but try and control yourself brah.
  5. Id like to explain it in a way that will make you understand. 1) The amount of signs bought doesn't mean anything. I never said gear was hard to amp, or lower level weapons. 1h weapons are a bit easier than 2h weapons. And people still amp 2h weapons as far as they can. And we have the ones trying for the +9 and +10, either chasing the dopamine rush, or just not aware of how hard it is. Most people are naive and believe they're different, that they're "lucky". There's a billion explanations to this. Obviously people are still amplifying, did i ever say they were not? People make new characters, amp new gear, try to amp sea weapons so they can join the t5 dungeons and do well. People amp arena gear etc. So yes naturally you would see signs "being bought" on your stats or whatever. Many people buy miracle coins and sell them, yeah obviously they do. It's the only way to make a shit ton of gold in this game on a very short period of time. Farming won't get you shit. Spamming dungeons hoping for a drop doesn't necessarily pay off. Even when you decide to do 20 runs, you may not get anything, and other times you may do 3 runs and get something. There's no good consistent source of income to rely on in the game. So yeah obviously people buy miracle coins and sell stuff to get gold. There aren't any other options to get that amount of gold. Drops just come by themselves, chasing them almost never pays off. and you'd end up wasting more gold than you gained trying to spam a dungeon. 2) But does that mean the system is perfect? just because you see miracle coins being bought on your stats or wherever you get that information? Does that mean it's okay to have ridiculous amp rates? No. It absolutely doesn't mean that. 3) Is this my own problem? Absolutely not. You're basically saying, as long as the developers get their paycheck, they shouldn't give a FLYING duck about their players. Are you being fr right now? of course it's their goddamn problem. NOT OURS. You're saying it yourself. IT'S THEIR JOB. And you don't DO A BAD JOB, just because there's nobody watching or able to do anything about it. As game developers they have certain responsibilities, if you're not aware. Id like you to go make up one of those stats you keep talking about. Go make a poll or something on the forums, about the subject of amplification. See how many actually like the current system. And how many would gladly accept a new amplification system. Needs to be a realistic one of course. 4) "For you it's a game, for them it's a job. You can't ignore this aspect of the game just because you're tired to waste 500 set signs per Weapon. Your idea is perfect in terms of enjoyment of the game, yet - I repeat - it's not realistic if we take into account that bills and salaries have to be paid. " Absolutely i can! i repeat, yes i can! WHEN WE AS PLAYERS DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, WE LET THEM KNOW. AND IT'S THEIR JOB TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!. Why should i have to care about their bills and salaries? that's their own problem! You don't seem to understand that we as players have rights as well. It's not our job to come up methods and fixes for them, and it's not our job to pay their bills/salaries and put food on their table. We as players couldn't care LESS about what bills they pay and how much they earn. All we care about is that we can play the game we enjoy! without being taken advantage of, exploited, tricked etc etc. The fact that the devs don't care about their players as long as they get their money is a MORTAL SIN in this game! and any other game! Of course the devs need food to survive etc. But once they decided to devote their time and hard work on the game. They freaking better make it good! it should be their passion! not just a source of income. Hope you understand. Yall seem to having a hard time. Hell yes it's their problem. They need to make something worth spending money on. Not some empty bets and risks. And yes i, like everyone else in the game, would like to become the best at my thing. OBVIOUSLY. This stays true for any game. People want to compete and be the best at anything NATURALLY. WHY DO I HAVE TO SELL MY HOUSE AND CAR FOR THAT? You say i "wish to become the best with little to no effort, or at least with an effort easily affordable for you. I can absolutely be wrong; your intention might not have been this one, yet this is what I see from outside. " And yes, as you already knew when you wrote that, you're completely wrong. I, along with many others have sacrificed A SHIT TON OF MONEY / TIME / HARD WORK IN THE SPAN OF MANY YEARS ETC. ETC. But apparently it's not enough effort. So tell me, when have we as players sacrificed enough to deserve to be the best? How much do we have to pay. Tell us. Mind you, someone could literally start the game today and become lucky and get +10 on a high lvl staff etc. Does that mean he deserved it? did he put in the effort? It's funny when you talk about "effort" in a completely random system with probably 0,0000000000005% chance of a successful amplification. As if effort could even affect this system. EFFORT COULD BE TALKED ABOUT, When you have a system where you could farm a material as mentioned thousands of time. This is where the REAL EFFORT shows. That you spent time and effort on farming/gathering this material etc. Great, so you don't even have access to these stats. Everything you're telling us here, is just something you're being told by someone else. Well this is your chance to learn the truth. Use your status as moderator and make your own stats. Id even go as far as helping you personally. You're still wrong. If anyone had the chance to get a higher level of amplification, they would do it. But they can't. So they learn to ignore it and accept that they can't ever. Does that mean they're satisfied? I don't think so. Rather, they "gave up" because they realized how hopeless the current system is. I like your selection of words.. truly shows the worrying sheep state of mind im seeing everywhere on the forums. You see it as a "donation" when you pay for something in the game. You don't expect to be paid back in any way. How sad, truly. You still don't seem to understand the fact of the problem. It's not about it "being too expensive" as it is. It's about the inconsistencies. The fact that some people have to use 1k signs and spend a shit ton, and may still end up getting NOTHING AT ALL. Making the +10 amp just straight up cost 100$ would even be a better and cheaper solution than the current one. That's the sad state the amplification system is in right now.
  6. I expect to be treated fairly, as should everyone else. Our money is hard earned, and we should at least expect to get something in return when we decide to pay, chance or not, there has to be a limit to this hopeless system. If you want to bend over because "that's just how it is" then sure go right ahead. I won't tell you not to. But for the ones that actually care and haven't just given up and become sheep, id like to take up this issue for mine and their sake lol. uhh what? i don't have to progress in the game? that's odd, usually when you play a game you naturally try to max out on everything, and try to compete and be the best. Especially with +8years in the bag xD Iknow i don't have to be full +10, but all im suggesting with this post, is that they make it a bit easier and more consistent. Nobody actually wants the current hopeless amplification system, that doesn't even assure any reward even when you've paid for it. They should make it rely a bit more on something else, not our money. If i wanted to bet on something or go to the casino, there are other places for that. People are using hundreds and thousands of dollars over the months and years... is that not alot? approx 30.000 miracle coins can't even get you 2m gold at best. Mermen gear and books are far more valuable than that. and with 30.000 coins you can't even amp your weapons to max lmao. Go do the math on how much cash that is. Basically becomes worthless in the game. But go on, act like it's not expensive at all. it's not even worth buying coins in the game anymore. Im not comparing "the game" im comparing what YOU PAY vs WHAT YOU GET. You don't seem to have understood the point. The point is that our money are far more valuable than warspear makes them out to be. You could get much more/better for far less in other games. And that stays true even if you like it or not. You're comparing warspear to other games aswell, with even a worse point, even if it's the "same category" (as if that even matters): To justify the game being bad and expensive, just because other games are lol.

  8. Smarter for the devs, not for the players. And as Higgings so valiantly admitted along with many others on the forums, the devs only care about what brings them money. So no, from their pov it stops being "smart" as soon as it stops bringing in cash. Im sure the devs would NEVER release any statistics over the amount of signs etc. used to fully amplify a rare high level item. The amount would simply shock everyone. The amount for staffs i bet averages like 300-400sets just from +9 to +10. There's a reason why they never released the amp rates. Because they're ridiculously low. Everyone knows this, but still they pretend it's just "fair" and that the devs deserve the money. uhh i beg to differ on this point. Do you really think its exciting? do you think the people that use over 600sets and never get +10 are excited? even the ones that finally get +10 after that many sets, im 100% sure they would feel grief and regret more than anything xD. Have you forgotten how expensive it is? So you're basically saying the players suffering and grief make amplification more popular? because then the 0.00000001% that get +10 feel extremely lucky and get dopamine rushes? uhh are we talking about a game here or some Las Vegas casino? Sounds really unhealthy and wrong. Atleast if this system didn't rely SOLELY on cash, maybe it would be acceptable. My first suggestion was simply a SUGGESTION. There are many different methods. You could still keep the "chance" of successfully amplifying something, but atleast make it rely a little more on some kind of ingame material or anything that just isn't simply bought with MONEY. Well my suggestion or just a few changes to the amplification system could eliminate this problem if it ever existed. (probably does). So how does it make more sense to keep the chance based system if someone is tampering with it? Well we won't ever know, especially not at this rate with the players just accepting anything thrown at them. Most probably don't even care that they're getting robbed. I guess they like that "dopamine rush" you mentioned, so addicted they can't stop. 10/10 game wow. Iknow, i was not referring to Higgs, but the devs. Well im not just telling you, im litterally posting on the forums for everyone to see. Great, so what do we do about this problem? ignore it? obviously no developers of any game should ever care just about what brings them money, but actually care for their playerbase and meet the needs and wishes of the people that actually play and support their game. Im posting here on the forums to try and spread awareness and make people realize that they deserve better. I can litterally go pay 30$ on steam for a 4K TOP QUALITY AAA RATED DELUXE freaking legendary game with thousands on thousands of hours playtime. Just for 30$. Meanwhile people on warspear pay hundreds of dollars for miracle coins every single weekend, in a old 2d pixel outdated game with a dying playerbase, where everyone just stands t5 after they have done their daily st myth and t5 quests grind, only to earn a few millions of gold, that can barely get them ANY PROGRESS. Mermen gear is +3m for just 1 piece, books are 3-10m LOL. And amplification is just hopeless. Last spring event i did 900 runs in the solo dg IN JUST A WEEK out of all the weeks the event lasted. And i didnt get a single book drop or anything worth all the seekers that i used. So the "Well go spam dg then" excuse just doesn't change anything. It's the same as trying to amplify, every single thing is chance based. But it seems like nobody on the forums actually care enough about the state of the game to care, they just chasin the fat dopamine rush i guess lol. This game wouldn't be SHIT without the players, so yes, we have more than just a scepter or crown, and yes we have a say in updates and how things should go. They aren't making the updates and changes for themselves, but for us, the players, and this is only possible because of the money WE PAY THEM. If we disagree with something, they sure as hell would need to change it, or suffer the consequences. That is just how it works in every game, idk why you think you don't have a say in anything here.. i don't care if other people go +10. Im paying in this game, so i care about me getting +10, other players can do what they want, that's the point where relics and how you play start to matter. Right now the ones with the money are "the best" because they simply have much better stats, but not necessarily better skills. But sadly skills cant change the outcome of anything against a player that just bought his way to everything. If other players pay enough to buy a ferrari doesn't concern me, i don't care, that's their choice, but we shouldn't ALL be FORCED to pay stupid amounts just because we want to have a +10 weapon lol. Is it wrong to want to have a chance to be the best at something without having to sell your house and car lmao? are the only worthy ones the crazy dopamine rush chasers that throw thousands of dollars in the game? About the stats you're mentioning, id like to see those stats. How can you compare the current systems stats to a system that has NEVER been implemented????? Show us these stats. I've never seen anyone "Satisfied" with +8, the correct word would be that they "Gave up" and accepted that they can't ever be good, and just stay in the game for the social aspect, which is actually the #1 drive for most players in the game, believe it or not. You can pull up your stats on that aswell.

Sorry to disappoint you like that brah you're welcome to try and explain to me again why i need to pay the cost of a ferrari to get +10 Only caring about the suggestions that earn the devs money is unhealthy and will ruin the game more than it already is in a few years it will most likely be no more. Even you yourself realize this. We as loyal players deserve better.

Nobody is saying "Don't spend money". All im saying is that atleast when you do, you deserve something in return. A little bit of "chance" for an amplification isn't straight up "The worst", but i just think the amplification should also rely more on an ingame material for example, that could be farmed or something.. make it rely a little more on things that can't just be bought with money. But farmed/achieved/gained by other means than MONEY. Not like the current system: Spend & pray. I've seen some worrying comments comparing this an amplification in an old 2d pixel GAME to real life...... that you can't have en expensive car without paying.. Complete bullocks. Seems like many members here on the forums are somehow under the impression that they have to waste their money on nothing because: "the devs need money the devs need food on their table" Id like to remind everyone that the devs aren't your relatives or friends for you to care about their well-being and the size of their pockets Stop being fine with getting spat on, stop licking peoples boots. This is a game, we are consumers, we are the #1 priority, without us there is no warspear it's up to the devs to SATISFY US! not the other way around Lastly this is not an attack on anybody I get your point. You may even have been ironic about it, but this will serve as a great reminder to the ones that actually belive "we" as the consumers owe the devs something... you're a good guy, hope it didn't brush off on you the wrong way.
  11. No i have never played Clash Royale tbh. Yes people keep buying signs. Because amplifying gear is still doable, and as Warspear players we thank god everyday for that, it could be much worse..(2h weapons) Also as i said in my post 1h weapons are easier to amplify compared to 2h weapons. So yes people actually still amplify other weapons that arent 2h. Also people keep making new characters etc, getting new gear and mermen gear etc. So ofc you're going to see signs being bought on your stats. I never said amplification in general is bs, i talked about weapons and 2h at that, in particular. Idk if you've even read my post tbh. Does that mean 2h weapons are easy to amp and shouldnt be a bit easier, just because the stats show signs are being bought? no. Also maybe take a look at how the playerbase has changed over the years? im more interested in that. Im pretty sure it has fallen quite a bit.. :/ Yes amplification is addicting. Every Warspear player knows this very well :) and that's exactly the problem with it. Addiction + impossible amps (+10 on a 2h wep) = 0 progress + waste of time and money. Maybe 1 in 10.000 people get that +10 on a 2h wep, but ask them if it was worth it and they feel rewarded and im sure 80% will say no. Id like you to take a look at those playerbase stats... Just because a game is surviving, doesnt mean the right thing is being done. A few things could be changed for the better, and that could result in a more thriving game with increasing playerbase stats. Then ill just assume you're a 1h wep user, which is probably true. And as you say, this suggestion i made is merely a suggestion, and i have even stated it could be changed however the devs would and players would like: like you mentioned, a two-optioned amplification system xD. Either risk it and go with the spam amp method or be able to choose to just straight up pay for the amplification.
  12. Are you seriously comparing an item in a 2d pixel game, to a car? We are talking about a game here, not real life possessions. And im not saying people shouldnt spend, i dont mind spending on/in a game at all. But when the amount spent on a game is actually enough to buy you an EXPENSIVE CAR xD Then you have a problem. Also im glad about you being so honest. Say it louder, poor people can't be shit in this game, it's pay 2 win. But there's something you're not being honest about at all. 60 dmg actually does make a great difference, but that's not the reason why you don't "need" it. The truth is you can't afford it, it's a waste of $ right? if +10 was easy to attain u wouldnt care about it being useless, you would get it. The problem is, not everyone is okay with being mediocre at best in a game they have spent alot of money/years on. People like to compete, people want to be the BEST. and sadly the only thing stopping them is $.
  13. Yes but in no other game is it normal to use thousands of dollars for minimal stat gains. hundreds of sets of signs to amp a weapon 1 level. And then replacing it again after another update with higher level weapons. And then having to amplify +10 again with impossible odds:) Not everything is about profiting, they're managing a game here, they have players that need to be satisfied and deserve to be treated well. People are supposed to have fun and enjoy playing. There are many other ways to be profiting than on the players suffering and frustration lol. Do you know how many players ragequit thanks to the frustration the amplification system brings? Many even stopped trying to amplify their weapons. A change in the amplification system might encourage more people to amplify = Profit :):):) In my post i mentioned some possible advantages to changing the system which you could take a look at. The profits that they make stem from the players. Make the players unhappy and you have no game :) Lastly, im 100% sure the people that invested in the current system wouldnt mind at all about it being changed to something more stable and rewarding. Iknow many spenders, and they would actually love that :) people dont really feel good about spending extreme amounts of $ on a lil stat gain in a 2D game.
  14. So you admit that being rich is the only way to max out. That's just sad. Go try that on a lvl 30 spring staff or sea staff, let's see if u ever get +10 with that method. Probably only works on gear and some common 1h weapons.
  15. I just read your post, and as you say, we've kinda had a similar idea. But it's not just the two of us, i've seen hundreds of posts about the amplification system, and it seems they just never make it. But im not giving up, the amping system needs to be changed. Why would the game be dead from these suggestions? did u read my post? The developers are the real "pros". They could easily change the amplification system slightly or in any way they would want to. Take a few things from different suggestions etc. They themselves know how to implement these suggestions without hurting their game. Just like this old system has survived for this long, a new system could easily change the game for the better. Oh... so for 10 years not a single suggestion about the amplification system was realistic enough to be implementef in some way? What do you think about my suggestion? the others you've seen? realistic enough? at this point ANYTHING that isn't the current amplification system, is more than realistic enough to be taken into consideration. The truth is, they don't want to change it. And that's a problem.
  16. Iknow money talks, and i took that into account in my suggestion. If they made a system like this: - More people would start being active, just like having to do dgs and quests for knowledge, this "Material" could be achieved the same way. That means even the lazy people and just everybody, would start farming this material. = more seekers bought, more useful mcoin items bought. - With people being this active, newbies will have a better time playing, possibly reaching "end game" and not quitting. - Even the ones that have given up amplifying would be interested, as this system offers a 100% amp. That means more people will buy signs and spheres etc than usual. - People will realize they can now amp more weapons, and would also try different builds with other stats etc. - -200000% ragequit rate. People that have been stuck with a weapon on +8-9 etc will now be less likely to quit because they can actually progress in the game when it comes to gear. As i've mentioned a few times, this flattens out inconsistencies, and makes a much happier playerbase overall. - Players will feel rewarded amplifying, instead of grief. When you can actually USE your character to FARM something that has usefulness for amping, you end up feeling "rewarded" when you gather enough for getting that last amp, along with the other things needed. Because u actually worked hard, and spent a bit, and it payed off. Instead of just standing in towns doing nothing and burning $ trying difficult amps, that don't even end up feeling rewarding because of the huge amount spent. - People will be more willing to spend $, because they won't feel betrayed or let down by impossible amps. - i can go on forever. And yeah as you're saying, the amount needed was just an example i put in, it could be tweaked by the devs as they wanted, but not too much like 500sets for +10 or some extreme number. This Token Pity system could work aswell, there are so many better options than the current system. And yeah the amount of signs the current system potentially makes players burn is kinda ridiculous... Did using 400sets on each dagger feel rewarding for you? i highly doubt anyone would feel rewarded after such an amount.
  17. Im going to assume you're a 1h weapon user since you can reach +8 without much hassle. I stated that the signs needed, and everything else, could be halved for 1h weapons. So that's like 20 sets all together for +8. it's supposed to be a bit easier in the lower levels and then much harder at +8-9-10. Try and visualize an exponential function. i can't see how 20sets is alot. Try asking around, see how much other people use, and you'll realize this system would make it fair for everyone. But as you're saying, maybe having both options would be better.
  18. Can u explain why u dont amplify over +7? because it's too hard? right? well my suggestion seems like a fair solution. The amount of signs needed to amplify +7 can vary alot from player to player, and as mentioned this will flatten out inconsistencies. Also the amount of signs/spheres/gold etc i put in was just random, just to show how it COULD work. Lastly, the amount i put in was only for weapons, it could be cheaper for gear and so on, there's alot of room for improvement. This is only a suggestion, so it could be tweaked and optimized ofc.

So in light of the latest 10.0 update introducing the new "Class Talents", the improved trading window allowing faster and larger exchanges and other useful stuff, i can't help but think, personally, that there is one more significant part of the game, that could use a nice improvement, update or whatever you'd like to call it. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the amplifying system. Probably the most discussed and controversial topic in the game since many years ago. In my opinion, this system is outdated, absurd and outright, just one big mess. And i am saying this confidently, after having played Warspear Online for over 7-8 years, and having experienced the brunt of the systems bad amplifying rates along with other players and friends. It may have served it's function well many years ago, but times have changed friends. Now, some may disagree with me on this, and other might agree. But i will present my thoughts on this system, some backstory and why i think it needs to be changed, along with my own suggestion, on how it could be tweaked or changed, in a way which i think would be a much better option. This is gonna be a long ass post, so saddle up. My opinion on the current amplifying system. So first off, getting +10 on a weapon was supposed to be rewarding, it was supposed to make you strong, set you apart from the rest of the players and make you feel like you achieved something great. it was designed to be hard from the beginning, and that's completely understandable and fair. But is that still the case? the system was designed many years ago, when the game was different. Is amplifying a weapon to +10 actually rewarding and great in 2021? I don't think so. First of all, there is a shocking degree of unfairness depending on what weapon your character wields. - 1handed weapons are easier to amp, compared to 2handed weapons. i was a part of the unlucky bunch, and decided to main a Warlock, as i really liked it. Now, warlocks are casters. Casters use staffs, which are 2handed weapons. But staffs are a bit unusual, and seem to take more than other 2handed weapons to amplify. So i think staffs should be in a category of their own. Now just a bit about my own character, to put things into perspective: I started trying to amplify my warlocks lvl 30 staff from +9 to +10 approximately one year ago. And so far i have used around 180sets of signs. 180sets of dmg3 spheres. and millions in gold, since my staff requires 872gold in it's amplifying fee. that's over 1.5million in gold just in amplifying fees. 180sets of signs is 41.220 miracle coins 180sets of dmg3 is like 14.220 miracle coins Basically hundreds of dollars were used, just to get 1ampification level, which i still, to this day haven't achieved. And this is just 1 staff, not counting the ones i tried out of frustration because i thought my staff was "cursed". Which is also a common misconceptions among the players, since there is no other way to explain the irregular and impossible amp-rate. Also now a "Sea Staff" is also required to actually be able to do the "ship graveyard" content optimally. That is 3 staffs in all. a normal pve staff, arena staff and a sea staff. Now just think about this for a moment. 3 Staffs. Not 1. After all the $ spent on trying to amp a SINGLE staff +10. Does anyone actually think it would feel rewarding to get this staff +10 anymore? while you now have 2 other staffs that also need to be amped? how many years are they going to take? The current amplifying system might have been fine and all, when 1-2 weapons were all you needed. But these days, with the increased number of weapons you need to amp and use, and with their level increasing all the time (amp rate increases with level and rarity) and with future updates introducing lvl 32 weapons, maybe, i just don't think it's all that useful, like it might've been in it's earlier days. And for those that say a +10 staff or any other weapon +10 is not necessary: after having played for many years, and used hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in the game and supported it throughout all these years, how can you blame people for actually wanting to progress in the game? wanting to compete? wanting to be THE BEST at your thing?! reaching the top? feeling like you're not wasting your time and money???? sometimes it would be nice, if the money you spent actually made a difference in your game. we have reached a point where it's not even "pay to win" anymore. You pay and gain nothing. Is this a healthy thing? is this the way a game should make it's players feel? Throughout this 1year i tried amplifying my staff, i asked many different people how many sets of signs they used to increase their staffs from +9 to +10. Some said 40sets, others 10 and believe it or not, some 500+. meanwhile i saw 1h weapons being amplified to +10 like it was nothing. Maces +10 left and right, swords and daggers. And many admittedly said amplifying 2h weapons, and a staff at that, could be up to 5times as hard as amplifying a 1h weapon. Even with two 1h weapons it's still easier than one 2h weapon. But of course, i even know players with 1h weapons, that are stuck on +9 as well. But why are casters, the most disadvantaged class in the game, cursed with an impossible to amplify weapon? casters have low hp, low stats because the magic on the gear takes up slots that could otherwise have been used for useful stats, like on the light gear of rogues and hunters etc. and also the amount of magic a caster can reach is already much lower than that of a physical damager. This is especially true for warlocks, and even worse for mages, since they are supposed to be damagers. Very low damage compared to other damage classes, even with the +25% magic from the relaxation, warlocks can barely reach 1k magic, and that is only possible for most, if they are using the gear with 55 bonus magic, which is VERY low hp and accuracy gear. While hunters and rogues, physical damagers have 1.6k physical damage. We all know Hunters and rogues, and many other damagers on elf side as well, have huge advantages over the caster damagers. So why are casters cursed with the ultra low amplifying rates? it just makes no sense. and this is why i think i was "unlucky" because i now feel like i chose the wrong class, based solely on the fact that i can't amplify my staff +10. Is this how the game is supposed to make you feel? are you supposed to pick your class depending on what's easiest and saves you the most $? or are you supposed to pick what you like, and actually have fun in the game? So that was basically a very long complaint in short, but i am sure many feel the exact same way, or can agree with parts i mentioned at least. And sadly my case isn't even one of the worst and doesn't even scratch the surface of this systems problems. I am not looking for sympathy with this post, or any refunds. But as mentioned, it's just to put things into perspective. There are people in the game that have used way more and gained nothing. The amount of players that are "unlucky" compared to those who are "lucky" is just too great. Why is this system of frustration still a thing? why is it okay to allow people to spend that much money without gaining anything? is it actually the players own fault? or is the game designed in a way that utilizes, and takes advantage of peoples will to compete and better themselves? My suggestion. So my suggestion is, that it might be for the best of everyone, if the system was actually changed to something more like the system used for upgrading guilds, and guild passive/active skills. So instead of trying to amp like a freak and wasting hundreds of dollars not ever knowing if you'll ever get the amp done, and EVEN if u got it, it probably wouldn't feel rewarding with the amount of signs you have to use these days, and the amount of weapons that need amplifying. The system could be changed so each amp level takes a certain amount of signs. Here's an example: 1sign, 1sphere and 1000 gold for +1 3signs, 3spheres and 1.500 gold for +2 10signs, 10spheres and 4.000 gold for +3 2sets of signs, 2sets of spheres and 9.000 gold for +4 4sets of signs, 4sets of spheres and 18.000 gold for +5 7sets of signs, 7sets of spheres and 25.000 gold for +6 10sets of signs, 10sets of spheres and 30.000 gold for +7 15sets of signs, 15sets of spheres and 45.000 gold for +8 30sets of signs, 30sets of spheres and 70.000 gold for +9 50sets of signs, 50sets of spheres and 100.000 gold for +10 ^ And half of these values for 1h weapons. This may seem like a lot of signs, and it really is, but compared to the current state of the amplifying system, you're much better off with this suggestion, since you actually get what you pay for 100%. And don't have to take risks all the time. Just be glad you're not one of the few that reached those 500sets i mentioned. it could be worse. Now, just like upgrading guilds, which uses unity signs, a form of material could be invented for amplifying. A material needed for the process of amplifying a weapon. and this is why the new update is relevant. This material could maybe be gained by spamming dungeons and doing other activities in the game, just like the current addition of "knowledge". Instead, this material can be farmed, and used to amplify your stuff. Another example just to clarify: 50sets of signs, 50sets of spheres and 100.000 gold and 10.000 of this "material" for +10 Now this could be made exclusively for weapons, or only the top amps like +8, +9 and +10. Or both weapons and gear, where gear would just need a much smaller amount of this "material", signs, spheres and gold, since gears aren't nearly as hard as weapons. This could be used in many different ways. Just a few possible advantages of this new system: - People may feel more inclined to be active, to get this "material" along with knowledge and reputation. - Flattens out the inconsistencies with the current amplifying system (some using 20sets for +10, others 500sets) - Everyone now pays the same for amplifying. This might even make the free to play players, or the ones that gave up amplifying, actually buy coins. Since the amount needed is clear, and this "material" can be farmed in the game, increasing the activity by a lot, and letting the hard work and grinding actually pay off by getting this "material" for amplifying. This also removes the uncertainty and frustrations when failing to amp. And might actually make players feel "rewarded" for their hard work finally gathering the "material", signs, spheres and gold, and GETTING the rewards they worked for. - More people will start amplifying. - People would actually amplify more weapons this way. - More people will buy seekers and a bunch of other miracle coin items, to spam dungeons from time to time. - This increased activity will be great for new players, that actually need the help they don't get, for quests and dungeons. - etc, etc, etc. there are many other benefits.
