Beginner stuck

Just turned lvl 17 and i am completely stuck. I cant get any gold or gear because its impossible to do dungeons or kill those 30k hp bosses. I need to do like 100 quests to level up to 18 which is just insane. Cant get gear,gold,level up, what am i even supposed to do?

Unfortunately quests do hit a bit of a brick wall at some point. It's mostly because the majority of the storyline wasn't released at once, so the balancing decisions were made based on a playerbase that had ample time to complete the earlier sections before new ones got released. You can avoid this by using XP boosts, such as guild skill/pots, but since you're fully stuck you probably haven't.

 

One way forward is to farm daily quests for xp until you're high enough level to complete the rest of the story. Those would be the ones marked as blue. They do also give some gold, which you can use to upgrade your weapons or to buy minions to help. I'd also recommend trying to find a guild with some activity. Guild event's are a nice source of gold, especially early on with bar drops being very common. You'd also be more likely to find people willing to assist with bosses etc.

Thanks,i guess i have no choice but to wait until i get a exp potion,100+ quests is just a crazy grind. Also is there any chance to farm those 30k map2 bosses without very expensive gear?

1. Make new char (use different acc)

2. Don't buy anything 

3. Complete map 1

4. Sell all gear 

5. Transfer gold to main

 

Map 1 take maybe 12 hour if u play constantly. From this method, you can get at least 10k per char. For sentinel, use beastmaster and use barbarian for legion side. ( don't use reaper for this method because forsaken is a stupid map )

Boss quests are usually completed by a party working together to defeat the boss. Recently, the game company has been gradually lowering the difficulty of quests, and they should also weaken the Irselnort T5 cave quest asap. Try asking for help in world chat. If you're playing on the us sapphire server mc side, I can help you.

Is there any way to do those bosses alone with relatively cheap gear? Also if your talking about that cave in Irselnort with a million mobs yea that place is a nightmare. The rest of the quests werent so bad but the daily quests are horrible. 8 xp for killing 20-30 mobs is a insane grind.

There are some minions that help. They're not free, but tank minions aren't often super expensive either. For example "water protector" minion from the free version of battle pass works fine. It doesn't take many tasks to get, lasts for 36 hours and basically can't die. You're only able to get one though.

When browsing the market, if you find equipment with a hp bonus at a very low price, it’s worth buying. Hp is crucial for surviving against bosses. While dmg is also important, it’s difficult to increase without amp. Using a very cheap minion isn’t a bad option either.
As for the daily quests on that map, they are very outdated, so I don’t recommend them. If you move to the next island, Ayvondil, you’ll find much easier quests, such as collecting 7 loot items, defeating 10 monsters, or killing a mini-boss, with much greater rewards.
