    Hunter

Hunter is a Legion Mountain Clan ranged class that specialize in Damage Dealing and Area Control

          Attack
        Defense
        Control
     Difficulty

     Pros and Cons
    Pros:
One of the best DPS class in Legion and in game. Has the ability to control enemy’s movement and limit their fighting capability. A great class for mass fights and events “Guild vs Guild”.
    Cons:
Lack of survivability and defensive or escape abilities. Lack of burst “high damage in a short amount of time”. Difficult to control in terms of positioning and play-style.

      Skill information

Here you can find all the information about hunter’s skills as well as demonstration.

       PvE and PvP
    Builds

PvE As mentioned before Hunter is one of the best DPS classes in legion and they play the part of the party/guild damage dealer. In terms of build there are two main builds that we will discuss, Single target and mass.
Single target  mainly played for dungeons and Raid bosses that require a lot of single target damage     "Mythical sea" and "Mythical nadir" dungeons are great example to use this build for. Basic:

    Expert:

Mass or group damage build is mainly played for dungeons or events that requires a lot of group damage    Castle dungeons are a great example for this build. Basic:

     Expert:

PvP: Hunters are a great class when it comes to PvP, they deal a good amount of damage while also having  a helpful crowd control abilities. In terms of build there are two categories that we can divide hunter builds into, Arena and GvG/War.
Arena build can split into three options based on the situation or your play-style

The standard  Offers a lot of damage while also gain a lot of stuns/control     This build works really well against opponents that rely too much on their skills whether for: Healing     Dealing Damage    Control    Keep in mind that some classes have abilities that grant them  Resistance which can ignore all control skills for few seconds making this build weak against:   Mage  Blade Dancer  Barbarian  Chieftain
     Basic:
     Expert:

The Dodge  Similar to the standard build in terms of stuns/control however it shifts more into surviving or withstanding damage by filling up your  Dodge stat while also having a bit of  Damage reduction. The idea of this build is to avoid as much damage as possible even against characters who has  Accuracy boost as it forces them to spend extra skill points into their accuracy skill making them lose points in other important skills thus lowering their damage or their fighting capability. Even though this build focuses more onto leveling  Dodge and Damage reduction skills rather than damage it can still deal a decent amount of damage.  This build works really well against opponents that deals a lot of burst or DPS such as:  Blade Dancer  Seeker  Warden  Mage  Rogue  Chieftain  Barbarian  Warlock  Reaper On the other hand there are some classes that have the ability to increase their  Accuracy which lower the chance of attacks being Dodge making this build a bit weaker against:  Mage  Ranger  Barbarian  Chieftain keep in mind that you cannot   Dodge Skills effect you can only Dodge the damage for example you can Dodge  Barbarian  Shield strike Damage or   Mage  Shattered Stone damage however you cannot Dodge the  Stun duration and it will still  Stun you even if you Dodge it.  Basic:
     Expert:

The damage focused This build focuses on dealing an insane amount of damage    and being a threat to almost anyone against you.  This build is generally good against all classes however it works best against opponents that are hard to kill or lack defensive skills like:  Warden  Ranger  Death knight  Hunter  Keep in mind, due to the fact it lack any sort of stuns  or defensive stats  this build leaves you extremely vulnerable against opponents who has mobility skills such as:  Mage  Seeker  Blade dancer  Barbarian  Rogue  Chieftain As you've noticed this build has a lot of counters and is hard to play so if you're planning on playing it I recommend having a support class as your partner to make sure you don't die too fast like:  Necromancer  Shaman  Charmer Building a lot of  Steal Health also works well with this build. Building  Resistance could also help by avoiding stuns or control skills.   Basic:

     Expert:

GvG/war This category consist of a one major build that is very effective and can be shifted between damage  and control  Hunters work really well with other control   classes allowing them to setup their group damage   skills easily. Hunters also work well together due to hunters being able to stack  "Hunter's Mark" for each other but keep in mind the increased received damage is based on your  Mark's level not the character who applied it.   Basic:

     Expert:

Keep in mind that these builds are merely favored and can be changed or modified based on your preference or play-style.

      Itemization

Having the correct Gears is very important, the combination of the stats items grant could amplify your hunter potential whether when it come to dealing damage, surviving or straight up enabling whatever build or play-style you have in mind. When it comes to Itemization we have two categories, PvE and PvP.

    PvE
For PvE it's important to have the right gears that will grant you the best/highest amount of necessary stats to output the most damage possible while also still having some defensive capability to not get one-shotted. In terms of itemization we can split it into two categories Early game and Late game.
Early game The idea of early game gears is to have cheap available gears to use until you finish your late game build while still allowing you to finish dungeons and quests at your level. The following stats are the ones you want to focus on, try getting them as high as possible.  Critical hit  Attack speed  Penetration Stacking some Defensive Stats as well as some armor amplification can help you survive a bit more so its recommend to get:  Life Steal  Solidity In early game there are many options and combinations of gears that works well but I would recommend the following build as it offers the best stats in terms gears availability and cost. I would recommend going for the crafted Crossbow or the spring Bow for they offer the best stats.  crafted Crossbow offers more  damage and  penetration.  spring Bow Grants more  Critical as well as  Attack Strength. Here you can find the stats and calculations of the build

Late game In the late game hunters tend to shine the most with the help of their skills and combined with merman gears they can show their maximum potential as damage dealers. The following stats are the core stats these should be maxed out.  Critical hit  Attack speed  Accuracy  Penetration In the late game after having your Core stats maxed you should start filling your other offensive stats that could add up to your damage like:  Critical hit Strength  Skill Cooldown  Attack strength  Piercing Stacking some Defensive Stats as well as some armor amplification can help you survive a bit more so its recommend to get:  Life Steal  Solidity I would recommend going for the crafted Crossbow or the spring Crossbow for they offer the best stats.  Crafted Crossbow offers more  Speed.  Spring Crossbow offers  Attack Strength.
Here you can find the stats and calculations of the build

    PvP
When it comes to PvP you want to have as much impact as possible when it comes to dealing damage or control while also withstanding damage and not be a weak target thus having the correct items will aid you in doing your job to deal damage. The following stats are the core stats these should be maxed out.  Ferocity  Resilience  Attack speed  Accuracy  Penetration after having your Core stats maxed you should start filling your other offensive stats that could add up to your damage like:  Skill Cooldown  Attack strength  Piercing  Stun Stacking some Defensive Stats as well as some armor amplification can help you survive a bit more so its recommend to get:  Life Steal  Resistance Keep in mind that incase you decide to use a different Crossbow than the Arena one it is not necessary to have your Ferocity maxed out, however you should at least have 30% Ferocity From enchantment else your damage will drop significantly  the advantage of using different kind of Crossbow could be to boost your other offensive stats which could be more useful in different situations.  I would recommend to either use the standard arena Crossbow  or the Crafted Crossbow  Arena Crossbow offers more  Ferocity.  Crafted Crossbow offers more  Speed.
Here you can find the stats and calculations of the build:

     Buffs and minion

Buffs and Minions are generally used to aid you in your battles from amplifying your damage or stats to supporting you with extra damage or control.
We will split them into two categories PvE and PvP
    PvE
    PvP
It is also advised to always carry some essentials as they can be useful in almost all situations.
     Greater Life Potion:
Restores 60% of the character's maximum health.
     Life Scroll:
Allows you to resurrect your Hero in case of death.
     Courage Scroll.
Allows you to resurrect your Hero in case of death during a castle attack and guild battles.

      Tips and advice
    For newbies

When you’ve just created your hunter and you’re level is still low it’s not a good idea to level  Combat stance first as you don’t have enough  mana regeneration early to maintain it so I would recommend leveling your other skills   first and leaving it for last for when you gain more  mana regeneration.
Getting the group damage expert skills   first once you're level 18 can help you finish quest faster as they provide more value in terms of damage compared to stats skills
As I mentioned before hunters don’t have the ability to tank damage without dying and they can easily be overwhelmed by mobs or getting caught by an enemy assassin, so it’s always a good idea to have a healer with you in your party whether a minion  for dungeons or a friend who plays a support class for arena or both.  Necromancer are great partner when it comes to dungeons as they provide a lot of damage boost and healing.  Shaman on the other hand are a great partner for arena and battles as they provide consistent healing and damage reduction.  Charmer can also be a great support partner if they adapt the staff build they can provide some consistent healing and also a lot of stuns/control.
Hunter’s can sometimes steal the aggro from the party tank which can put you in a tough spot so always watch your damage and your party tank aggression skill to not get yourself killed, it’s also a good idea to get  Tranquil Potions which can reduce your damage aggro  Hunters can be really difficult to control and play as they rely too much on positioning but once you get the hang of it hunters can become a really fun class to play.

This is the end of the guide I hope it can be of use to others and shine more light into hunters, if you have any question or if you've spotted any error or inaccurate information feel free to let me know

    1.  Introduction
Would you like a class that can do anything? Would you like to one shot the 50k hp dummy? Would you like to sit back and watch while someone else does all the work for you? If you said yes to any of these questions, Beastmaster is the class for you.
Beastmaster is a unique class the revolves around their Moon Monster to deal damage. Depending on the build, bm can do single target damage, aoe damage or even be a healer. Bm excels when played in a group with other players, but it can be used for solo play also. In PvE, Beastmasters with right build can compete with Blade Dancers and Rangers in damage. In PvP, bm is currently on the stronger side, but it has some weaknesses. Beastmaster is a very easy class to level up since you are basically always doing quests duo with your summon. Beastmasters can be roughly divided to physical and magical builds, and in this guide I will be covering both.

(For clarity, in this guide I will refer to Beastmaster as bm and the Moon Monster as cat. Other abbreviations: PvE = Player versus Environment, PvP = Player versus Player, AoE = Area of effect)

    2.  Tips for new Beastmasters
    General
Your cat gets damage from both physical AND magical damage. Not just the higher stat. This is why I don't recommend using a staff. Use a spear or  a two-handed hammer. There are some instances where staff might be better, but not many. Skills don't get higher range when used with a staff. Both spear and hammer are viable options, and they can be both used for leveling. Only at later levels will it become challenging to keep your cat alive on spear builds. (Ayvondil t3 and later) Magic build is easier to use in arena and more effective at lower amplification levels, keep that in mind when choosing which build you want to use. There are 2 skill sets, you can use both weapons and mess with different builds at the same time. You can play bm as kind of a ranged class. Send your cat to deal damage and sit back yourself. More useful in PvP but has uses in PvE also. Leveling
More of a general tip, don't buy new gear on every level. You will fine with the same gears for a long time. Use magic accessories while leveling up since they are much cheaper and still benefit you in any build. Talents/buffs
Start working towards the key class talents first. Other skill talents won't have as big of an impact as the key talents do. After that, get the 2nd skill point. Any skill or buff that says increases skill damage or characters damage, doesn't increase cat's damage or aura damage if it's applied to cat. For example, these don't increase cat's damage:   There is one exception which is the cloth merman skill Crushing Will which increases critical damage that cat does.
    3.  Skills and strategies for combat
    3.1  Skills and relics
    Basic skills

     Moon Touch
Your basic damage skill that deals magical damage. Deals a debuff to the enemy that increases your cat's damage.  Also increases damage done by  Aura of the Forest, if it is on cat. Can be used in physical damage builds to increase cat's damage to bosses. Keep in mind that other bm with lvl1 Moon Touch can make this effect useless since they don't stack. Best relics to use: PvE  You could use  Great Relic of Inaccessibility to increase the range to 5 yards. Especially useful on physical builds since the skill doesn't do much damage anyway. PvP
     Beast Awakening
Summons a cat to fight with you. Cat inherits stats from the player so you should keep that in mind when building your character. List of inherited parameters in spoiler. Cat's damage depends on physical AND magical damage. For maximum damage, you want both stats high as possible. Cat doesn't get hp from % buffs such as craft armors. If you want high hp for your cat, use gear and buffs with base hp. Best relics to use: PvE and PvP  Since the skill is permanent skill it doesn't really matter which relics you use. Just make sure you have  Great Relic of Energy Stability.

     Order to Attack
Skill used to control your cat. Increases the damage from the first hit to the target. Best relics to use: PvE  Use either  Relic Of Magical Might or  Relic of Physical Might depending on your build. PvP
     Healing
Heals your cat or yourself, if your cat is taking a nap.  Lifeforce potion doesn't increase the healing on your cat.  Exceptional Healing castle buff does increase the healing on your cat and yourself. Best relics to use: PvE  PvP
     Chain Lightning
The only stun bm has. Duration at 5/5 with Chain Lightning + talent is 5.5 seconds, one of the longest stuns in the game.  Resonance talent makes this skill kind of an aoe stun skill, although there is only 50% chance that the additional targets will get stunned and the stun duration decreases with every target. Also one of your main damage skills. Best relics to use: PvE and PvP  You can add the effect from  Terrible Relic of Sickness to each target you hit. If the skill misses even one target, the  Relic of Accuracy will trigger
    Expert skills
     Bestial Rampage
Increases your cat's damage and heals yourself whenever cat deals damage. The skill description can be a bit misleading. It says that it increases physical strength. Cat always does physical damage, so it is useful skill even on magical builds. Combos well with  Aura of the forest. Any damage done by that will also heal you.  Lifeforce potion and  Exceptional Healing castle buff increase the healing received from dealt damage.
     Soul Connection
Gives you damage reduction depending on your cat's health. Maximum damage reduction if your cat is full hp is 35%. Also heals you whenever cat's hp is healed 10% of its maximum.  Lifeforce potion and  Exceptional Healing castle buff increase the healing.
     Forest Symbol
Places a plant that roots enemies to the ground. Has talent that increases the root duration by 1 second. Good skill in small scale pvp. If you ever use this skill, use it at 3/4 if you have the talent. The root lasts for 5.5 seconds on enemy and the enemy will get rooted again after 0.5 seconds.
Also has some fun interactions if the enemy has  Resistance buffs. If the root lasts under 3 seconds, they will get rooted again almost immediately. The same thing happens if enemy tries to use Purification potion to get rid of it.

     Double Concentration
Increases your skill cooldown speed and critical damage. Increases your skill cooldown speed if your cat is not alive. These two buffs stack, meaning that you can get skill cooldown twice. If your cat ever dies you should use this skill to boost your cooldown to get your cat back faster.
     Moonlight
Adds a debuff to enemy that deals magical damage and decreases their movement speed.  Attacks from your cat will refresh the duration meaning that one stack will last forever as long as your cat is hitting the target. One target can only have 2 stacks at most.
     Aura of the Forest
Bm's aoe damage skill.  Has  Power of Nature talent that will increase the damage of the skill.
     Blessing of the Moon
Increases critical hit chance and penetration.  Has  Full moon talent that basically doubles the effect of this skill. At 4/4 when you use this skill on yourself,  your cat will get 32% critical hit chance and 16% penetration.
     Return to the Roots
Calls your cat back to you and removes some debuffs. Resets your cat's aggression points to 1.  Means that you will take aggro and start tanking in PvE. You (or anyone else) can't apply any skills on cat while it's returning. Don't use skills like  Bestial Rampage while it's returning, they will go to cooldown but the effect won't be applied. If used without cat will cleanse debuff(s) and give you a small speed boost If your cat is under any controlling effect this skill won't do anything. Make sure you have detailed group widgets turned on to see if your cat is stunned.  Has  Reunion talent that will teleport you to the cat while giving your cat resistance for some time. Removes some debuffs from yourself instantly. The talent has no distance limit so you can teleport the whole map.

     Proximity to Nature aka tree.
Aoe heal skill that also makes you invulnerable to any damage.  Lifeforce potion doesn't increase the healing on your cat but it increases healing on yourself.  Exceptional Healing castle buff does increase the healing on every target. Increases the defence of any target you healed. Heals maximum 9 targets at maximum level in 7x7 area around the character.  If one of the targets gets to full hp you will start healing another target. Meaning you can technically heal and give defence buff to more than 9 players. Will always heal your cat, no matter how far it is.

Complete list of skill and talent information/statistics can be found here:
3.2  Skill builds for leveling and first expert skill's
I get asked this a lot. Which skills to level up first and which expert skills to buy. Start by leveling up cat to the maximum. No matter what build you will later on use, this should always be maxed. After your cat is lvl5 you should either level up Healing or Chain Lightning. Chain Lightning does high damage on both physical and magical builds and is very helpful when clearing many monsters. As you level you might feel like you don't really need to heal your cat that much but later in the game it will be a task to keep your cat alive. I recommend leveling it to at least lvl3. This is what your skills would look like at lvl18.

     5/5
     5/5 or 3/5
     3/5 or 5/5

When you get to lvl18 you can buy and use expert skills. The first expert skill to buy no matter which build you are using is  Bestial Rampage. This skill helps you clear monsters faster and also heals you, so you don't need to stop to heal yourself. After that, I recommend buying  Double Concentration. It gives you a lot of skill cooldown speed as well as critical hit damage. Extra cc helps to use your Bestial Rampage more often, thus giving you more damage and more healing. Now you need to make a decision, to focus on physical or magical damage. If you go for magical build, you should get  Aura of the Forest. Aura of the forest combos incredibly well with Rampage. Since the aura is applied to your cat, any damage done by it while rampage is active will also heal you. You become almost immortal while these two skills are on in PvE. For physical build I would use  Blessing of the Moon. Increases your cats overall damage by a good amount.
After these it doesn't really matter in which order you buy skills, but if I were to put them in order it would be this
At level 32 your skill build would look like this for PvE. Note that you can get 2 more skill points from talents.

     4/4 or  4/4

I personally used magical build while I was leveling up. I didn't have any troubles with questing apart from a few bosses. Even underwater territory in Ayvondil was a breeze.

High aoe damage with Aura of the Forest and Chain Lightning. Your cat will be tanking so you do not need to worry about it. If you don't have enough healing to keep cat alive' try the next build.

    Healing build / Solo build

     4/4

A little bit less damage than the previous build' but you will have a lot more healing. A very useful build in dungeons that require healing such as Castle dungeons. Useful build when soloing PvE content. Not enough points to max Rampage and Double Concentration so choose whether you want more damage on cat or more cooldown and crit dmg.

    3.3.2  Physical PvE
A little bit of info for physical PvE builds to begin with. Most of the time you will not have enough healing to keep your cat alive. Which is why you will need to tank the damage yourself by doing more aggression points than your cat. This is easy most of the time since  Return to the Roots resets cat's aggro points to 1. Just make sure cat is not under any controlling effect when you use it. You can also increase the aggression you generate with  Potion of Anger, which can be crafter at castles. You don't need them for most things.

Very high damage but no healing whatsoever. Expect your cat to die a lot with this build. Has decent AoE damage despite being physical build. Cat's auto attacks will also deal AoE damage on every 5th attack.

The build that I personally use at the moment. The difference to the glass cannon build is that im using the passive skill for extra damage reduction. To get the most effect out of the skill your cat needs to be at full hp so you want at least 3/5 Healing. You can max healing and take points from Moon Touch/Chain Lightning. With this build I have soloed Mythical Sea Tramps and the Merman Sanctuary. I don't think its necessary to use the passive skill unless you are doing things like this.

Build for 1v1s and small scale pvp. I've found that 3/4 tree is enough healing to heal yourself to full if you are using healing buffs. Rampage is useful to nuke healing classes. You could take some skill points from Healing and use them to max aura for more damage, but your cat will die much easier then.

Same as previous PvP build but no Rampage this time. In mass battles your cat dies much more often so you do not want to waste points on skills that you can't use. Tree at 4/4 is a must since bm's on magical build have the best AoE healing Sentinel side has.

High damage build that will nuke squishy players. You can take points from tree to max Moon Blessing but the invulnerability from tree is nice and the healing on buffs even on physical build isn't bad either.

    GvG / Mass fight build
Your cat will die, and you are stuck poking with your slow spear.
    Switch to magic.

    3.5  PvP tips

    General pvp tips first:
Your cat dies > you die. Don't let your enemies kill your cat. Much easier on magic build. In mass fights do not go too far into the front line. You can't heal your friends or your cat if you are stunned. In mass fights don't use your root where most of the enemies are, you will only prevent Templars flow from working. It's better to use it behind you to catch any players trying to flank. If possible, try time your tree so that when you come out of it you will have your stun ready. Your cat isn't affected by  Magic Globe of the Guild. However, if you are yourself in globes area, cat will do decreased damage since the cat inherits your stats. Try stay out of globes area and send your cat in.
    Small tips against every class

    4. Weapons/armors/buffs
    4.1 Magic vs Physical damage
Many people ask me which is better, magic or physical builds. In my experience, physical is better for PvE and magic is better for PvP. That doesn't mean that magic is bad in PvE and vise versa. In PvE, there are only few places where high AoE damage is better than high single target damage so physical tends to be better in most places. In PvP, you just want your cat to be alive. Dead cat can't do damage.
    4.2 Stats to focus on
You want to focus on stats that your cat inherits. Full list of inherited stats in 3.1 Beast Awakening.

Critical hit, try get to 50%.
Accuracy, try get at least 30%
     Penetration, as high as possible.
Stun, in pvp use at least in boots.
Attack Strength, as high as possible in physical builds. Increases your cat's damage.
Skills Cooldown, as high as possible.
Rage, increases both physical and magical damage. Benefits bm more than most classes since cat will get increased damage from both stats.
Energy Regeneration, as high as possible. With cloth merman I have 125 energy regeneration and I still sometimes run out on energy.

    4.3 PvE
    4.3.1  PvE weapons
Beastmasters can use variety of different two-handed weapons.
There isn't really any reason to anything else, but two-handed hammers and spears currently.
Most 2h-hammers have magic as primary stat and spears have physical damage. There are some exceptions of course.
    Magic weapons

Morgenstern of the Kingdom of Indestructibility
    Best magic weapon for damage.

Royal Maul of the Magic Bastion
Insane cd, probably best option currently for AoE damage builds.

     Hammer of Metamorphosis
Weapon for highest magical damage. Will give you more healing.

    Crystal:  Magical damage.
    Rune:  Damage Reflection.

     Physical weapons

Spear of the Kingdom of Indestructibility
    Best weapon for highest damage.

     Spear of Metamorphosis
Slightly higher base damage, but cat will deal less damage.

    Crystal:  Physical Damage
    Rune:  Damage Reflection.

Damage calculations below. On mobile devices it's easier to see the tables in landscape mode.

    4.3.2  PvE armors
    Armors
Beastmasters can wear both  Cloth Armors and  Lightweight Armors. However, most Lightweight Armors have bad stats for bms (mainly attack speed). That is why most bms wear full cloth armors in PvE.
Two pieces of cloth merman armors are a must if you want the highest damage output. You also want some boots with Energy regeneration to keep up with the reduced energy regeneration. If you can't afford merman armors you can get full set of Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago from Mythical Sea Tramps or Spellweavers of the Unbreakable Alliance from Mythical Champions Colosseum(Nadir).
    Examples of armor sets:
Hood of the Spellweavers of the Unbreakable Alliance
Smock of the Spellweavers of the Unbreakable Alliance
Bracers of the Spellweavers of the Unbreakable Alliance
Boots of the Spellweavers of the Unbreakable Alliance
    Set bonuses:

Cowl of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
Garb of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
Gloves of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
Shoes of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
    Set bonuses:

     Hood of the Sacred Sign
Garb of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
Gloves of the Spellweavers of the Pirate Archipelago
     Clogs of the Sacred Sign
    Set bonuses:

Hood of the Wizards of the Sea Turtle
     Hoodie of Invisible Knowledge
     Gloves of Invisible Knowledge
Clogs of the Wizards of the Sea Turtle
    Set bonuses:

     Helmet of Fatal Retribution
     Hoodie of Invisible Knowledge
     Gloves of Invisible Knowledge
     High Boots of Fatal Retribution
    Set bonuses:
With this set you will need all the energy regeneration you can get.

Best crystals and runes to use:
Hood  /   Armor   Gloves   Boots  /
    Belts
As for belts, I would use either Baldric of the Freebooters of the Code or Sash of the Freebooters of the Code. They both have skill cooldown and you can choose between them depending whether you need more Penetration or Accuracy.

Baldric of the Freebooters of the Code
Sash of the Freebooters of the Code

Best crystals and runes to use:
    Belt
    Magical build accessories
Craft cape is the obvious choice for all magic builds. For amulet there are few options, either an amulet with % magic damage or amulet with cd isn't bad either. Rings you should choose ones with Accuracy.

     Chiton of Transcendence

     Horrifying Medallion of Integrity
     Marvelous Medallion of Invincibility
     Symbol of Greatness

     Horrifying Ring of Integrity
     Magic Ring of Invincibility
     Magic Signet-Ring of Invincibility

Best crystals and runes to use:
    Cape  /   /  Amulet  /   Rings
    Physical build accessories
Get all accessories with Attack Strength. Cheaper good alternative is to get accessories with cd.

     Bewitching Chiton of Invincibility
     Magic Cloak of Invincibility

     Magic Lavalier of Invincibility
     Magic Amulet of Invincibility
     Bewitching Amulet of Invincibility

     Magic Circle of Invincibility
     Magic Signet of Invincibility

Best crystals and runes to use:
Cape /   Amulet   /  Rings   /  I use Vampirism runes on my accessories since I am tanking monsters when on physical build. You might have enough healing from just Rampage but there is a small gap when it isn't active. You're probably using Blessing of the Moon when on physical build so you don't need any crit crystals.

    4.3.3 Pve buffs
    Potions for magical builds:
Spellful Drink, increases magical damage by 15% and Rage by 10%.  Revitalizing Julep, increases magical damage by 15% and Skill Cooldown speed by 10%.
    Potions for physical builds:
Witching Potion of Magisters, increases maximum health by 700 and Attack Strength by 10.5%. Because Attack Strength is added to cat's damage after all the other calculations this has much bigger difference to the damage output than normal damage potions. You can check the calculations in the spoiler under physical weapons.
    Scrolls for magical builds:
Scroll of Mermen's Magic, increases magic damage by 98. Any % magic buff will work on top of this.  Assault Scroll of the Power Build-up, increases magic damage by 20% and  Facilitation by 15%. Your aura, rampage and heals will last longer.
    Scrolls for physical builds:
Manuscript of Royal Warriors, increases physical damage by 10% and Attack Strength by 7.5%  Battle Scroll of the Power Build-up, increases physical damage by 15% and  Facilitation by 15%. Your aura, rampage and heals will last longer.
    Food, rarely needed in PvE:
Heady Rum, increases health by 616 and Health regeneration by 34. Since its flat hp, it will also increase cat's hp.  Turtle Soup, increases energy by 46 and energy regeneration by 12. Useful if you have trouble with energy.
    Minions:
Flame's Recruit. Active skill Amplification. Increases the character's physical strength by 20% and magical power by 25% for 10sec. The best minion for bm by far. Cat will deal insane damage since both stats get buffed. Only available from battle pass.  Himal. Passive skill Himal's Advice. Increases the character's physical strength by 7% and magical power by 10% while the minion is alive. Similar effect to Flame's Recruit but the skill is passive. Can be bought from certain events.  Lizardman Priest. Passive skill Critical Help. Increases the character's critical damage and critical healing power by 20% while the minion is alive. Can be bought from certain events.  Black Tiger. Passive skill increases Energy regeneration by 30%. Active skill increases critical damage by 30% for 30 seconds.
    4.4 PvP
    4.4.1  Pvp weapons
    Magic weapons

Maul of the Greatest Secutor  with  enchant.
Best weapon overall. High magic for heals and good damage.
Do not use Ferocity crystal on this weapon. Your cat would do slightly more damage, but every skill would deal less and you would heal a lot less too.

Morgenstern of the Kingdom of Indestructibility  with  enchant.
Most damage. Does more damage than the other ones because of the penetration. Sacrifices healing for damage.

     Hammer of Metamorphosis  with  enchant.
    Highest healing magic weapon.

    Rune:  Damage reflection.

    Physical weapons

Spear of the Kingdom of Indestructibility  with  enchant.
Best weapon for pure damage with cat. It does more damage than arena spear because of the penetration and Attack Strength it has. Arena spear would be more damage if it had penetration.

    Rune:  Damage reflection.

Damage calculations below. On mobile devices it's easier to see the tables in landscape mode.
    4.4.2  Pvp armors

    Magical build basic pvp set
Normal arena gears for start. You can choose between arena belt and craft belt. Arena belt will make you and your cat a little bit tankier, but craft belt will give you a lot more hp and a little bit of cooldown speed.
Use whatever accessories you have for PvE. You should work towards getting full Greatness accessories, at least lvl26.
     Mask of the Champion Assassin
     Vestments of the Champion Arcanomancer
     Bracelets of the Champion Arcanomancer
     Boots of the Champion Arcanomancer
Belt of the Champion Arcanomancer  or  Sash of the Ominous Requiem

Best crystals and runes to use:
    Hood   Armor   Gloves   Boots   Belt
    Physical build basic pvp set
On physical build you should use Lightweight gloves and boots. The extra penetration from light gloves increases your damage more than the missing magic damage would. Boots have mana regeneration now instead of cd so you can use penetration crystals on your ring(s).
It would be perfectly fine to use the Magical build with physical weapon too.
Use whatever accessories you have for PvE. You should work towards getting Greatness rings, at least lvl26, and Contender cape and amulet. They should be as high level as possible.
     Mask of the Champion Assassin
     Vestments of the Champion Arcanomancer
     Wrists of the Champion Assassin
High Boots of the Champion Assassin
     Belt of the Champion Arcanomancer

Best crystals and runes to use:
Hood   /  Armor   Gloves   Boots   Belt   Rings
    Magical build Greatness set
There are two ways which you can build your magic greatness set. You either go full cooldown set or use mix of two pieces from health set. Full cd set being little bit tankier while mix set having more hp. There is basically zero difference between overall tanking abilities of these sets. However, if you use full set, enemies will hit you for lower amounts and it will be easier to keep your cat and yourself alive with your heals. Also, the enemies will get less healing from lifesteal since they don't hit as high. That is why I recommend using full cooldown set.
     Cowl of Greatness
     Smock of Greatness
     Bracers of Greatness
     Boots of Greatness
     Sash of the Ominous Requiem
     Cloak of Greatness
     Symbol of Greatness
     Ring of Greatness
    Set bonuses:

Best crystals and runes to use:
Hood   /  Armor   Gloves   Boots   Belt   Cape   /  Amulet   Rings
    Physical build Greatness set
On physical build you should mix cloth hp set with light hp set. You will get a lot of extra hp from two set bonuses. Instead of craft belt you could use Baldric of the Corsairs of the Code for extra penetration. The hp from that belt will also increase your cat's hp.
     Helm of Greatness
     Vestments of Greatness
     Wrists of Greatness
     Shoes of Greatness
Sash of the Ominous Requiem  or  Baldric of the Corsairs of the Code
     Contender's Cloak
     Contender's Symbol
     Ring of Greatness
    Set bonuses:

Best crystals and runes to use:
Hood   /  Armor   Gloves   Boots  /   Belt   Cape   /  Amulet   Rings
    4.4.3  PvP buffs

    Potions for both builds:
Sinister Potion of Alchemist, increases hp by 700 and stun by 7%. Increases cats hp too since its flat hp.  Polar Potion of Resistance, increases Resistance by 15%  Greater Potion of Lifeforce, increases effectiveness of healing from skills on you by 60%. You can use this potion with any other potion, it won't replace other potions.
    Potions for magical builds:
Potion of Majestic Mages, increases magic damage by 15%, health by 15% and energy by 30%
    Potions for physical builds:
Witching Potion of Magisters, increases maximum health by 700 and Attack Strength by 10.5%.   Legendary Potion of Permeation, increases penetration by 15%
    Scrolls for both builds:
Legendary Scroll of Resistance, increases resilience by 15%  Magnificent Scroll of Invincibility, increases resistance by 20% and defenses by 30%
    Scrolls for magical builds:
Scroll of Mermen's Magic, increases magic damage by 98. Any % magic buff will work on top of this.
    Scrolls for physical builds:
I would use defensive scrolls on physical builds.
    Food:
Heady Rum, increases health by 616 and Health regeneration by 34. Since its flat hp, it will also increase cat's hp.

This guide will show builds personally tested and their pros and cons for PvE and PvP
(Best viewed in Dark mode forum)

Before we jump into the builds the levelling process is something nobody can avoid.
In the beginning stage first thing you should know is that your skill Beast Awakening is the main damage and should be always active.
Up to level 18 the skill points should be divided and used in order like this:
1     Beast Awakening 5/5 - summon name is "Moon" and usually known as "Cat" or "Tiger".
2     Healing 5/5 - reason is that Moon is not invincible and can die and this should keep him alive longer.
3     Moon Touch 3/5 - reason that i choose this skill is the debuff that can affect more than one attack compared to skill Order to Attack.
Up to level 32 expert skills in order:
1      Bestial Rampage 4/4 - this is the best skill that can increase Moon's attack speed and damage as well as heal you.
2     Proximity to Nature 4/4 - this is the best support skill and can help survive not only You and Moon but your Allies as well.
3     Double Concentration 4/4 - this skill can increase critical damage and healing you deal.
As for the equipment you should choose Spear as a weapon, Cloth armor and Magic accessories. Anything from these that you can find for your level cheap up to level 29 in the Second-hand Dealer is the best. The order to buy other expert skills is up to the person to choose.

Moving on to best skill builds for late game that I categorised for Physical and Magic damage:

    PvE

    Physical damage build:
This build is concentrated on maximum damage output.
The healing comes from Bestial Rampage so you don't need to spend your golds on Vampirism runes.
Only issue with this build is that there isn't Amulet with Energy regeneration and Attack strenght together so either sacrifice some penetration and attack strength or use energy potions.
Best to use in dungeons as damage dealer, bosses, mini-bosses.
Because of the low survivability of Moon and the healing is not enough to keep him alive is not advised to rush into many enemies.
Talent skill Full Moon will double the effect of skill resulting in more critical hit and penetration.

    Skills:
       Beast Awakening 5/5
       Moon Touch 5/5
       Healing 3/5
       Bestial Rampage 4/4
       Double Concentration 4/4
       Blessing of the Moon 4/4
Soul Connection 3/4 - Upgrade this only if you have extra skill points from Talents

                                 Crystal -

    Magic damage build:
Used as support damage but mainly healing.
Best to use in dungeons as healer, bosses, mini-bosses, sea sector.
This is best build against many enemies as it provides AoE damage and healing.
Personally recommend this build with Staff for Sea sector for its survivability and long range attacks.
Talent skill Power of Nature will significantly increase damage.

    Physical damage build:
This build is recommended to use in arena as damage dealer to counter healers and tanks.
Not recommended in Mass PvP fights because this build damage consist of Moon's attacks and most of the time he is stunned or dead.
Talent skill Full Moon will double the effect of skill resulting in more penetration.

lallouss reacted to Dr Strange in [2023.03.17] Important changes. Game servers restart
    Dear players!

Please note that today, 17.03.2023, at 14:30 CET, the game servers will be restarted. Following the restart, the following changes will be made:
    Tasks
the “Sweet Gift" quest has been reworked: now "Candy Kiosk" no longer generates containers, but gives out quest items to the character's bag. Holiday Dungeons
the movement speed bonus has been increased: when entering a dungeon, the character now receives 25% bonus, and this value also increases by 10% for each quarter passed; the reaction speed of observers to the approach of the player has been reduced; now observers make stops while moving along the route; “Domain Elemental" health has been reduced to 50,000 units. The game will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes.

Also, do not forget that used elixirs and minions will be paused, and the seeker's stamina will be returned if the player is in the dungeon at the time of the restart.

We kindly ask you not to plan anything important during this period and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

lallouss reacted to Ironstand in Bad system! Bad game! I quit! (New player perspective)
    Well well well...
I finally got to the forums, and oh boy, do I have some complaints!

Okay, if the bait title worked now I will continue to a constructive critique of some "systems" the game has to offer for a brand new player.

I have joined warspear around 3 weeks ago, created my favorite fantasy class, and jumped right in.

I've played a decent amount of mmorpgs in my life, so getting into WS was quite easy, a bit of unneeded annoyances (like bag space etc) but nothing too repeling, straight forward kill 8 of those, gather 5 of these, in return get xp and a few coins. Map1 (as it's called by everyone) is easy, learning basics and just seeing what the game has too offer, all good.

Now the 1st thing that almost made me straight away just quit the game, is the weapon reward I received in town 3 of map1 I recall? That box also contained these new items I haven't seen before "Enchanting spheres".
Wow! I tought for myself, not only a weapon, but a way to upgrade it!
(Now if you are a new player, shortage on gold is felt, you barely make enough for repairs at that point)
And what do we do? Of course we sell our old rusty club and shield(that's what I had) to a vendor, we equip this new shiny 2handed mace! Ready to do some real damage! And now we can enchant it!
    Nice eh?
    *Clink sound*
    New shiny mace +1
Okay, wowee! That's cool! And I still have 2 more of these spheres left!
    *Clink sound*
    New shiny mace +2
WOW! That's realy cool! And I see these stars, I assume If I had 10 of these spheres, I could go all the way to +10 or something?
Okay last sphere and we good to go...
    *Clink sound*
    SNAP!!
With confusion in my eyes, trying to realize what happened, why was the sound different?
    Oh no...
    Oh no no no...
Brand new shiny mace... is no more.
That weapon you worked several hours so hard for killing bears spiders and whatnot... is just dust.
Your a lvl 6, standing there, no money... no old weapon cause you sold it already, and you didn't even try your new weapon...
And now, you don't know what to do...
(Yea, so at this point I was, na fk this, I'm not making a new character going those 2-3 hours throu same quests.
And  why was there no info , no obvious info, that you can straight up just loose your weapon/armor from doing this?
As a new player, for me that was upsetting, cause game is kinda fun, but now I'm just stuck without an exit out of this "situation").
Because I was in a chatty mood, I started complaining about this in world chat, and was lucky, a person straight up teleported to me, and gave me some gold to buy a weapon and continue playing. (If mood was different I would of just exit+unninstall.
Also I met a person in the same zone a few quests later, i assume also a newbie, who had the same thing happen, and person just said "this is dumb" and logged off.)
So yea, a big red sign "DO NOT GO BEYOND +2 OR YOU WILL BREAK IT"
Or something like that. Also coming from other games, this is not a "common" thing that gear break when enchanted. So that is NOT obvious.

    Fast forward.

    I'm lvl 15.
With salty wind in the air, smell of fish, and new adventures, I arrive in this new port...
    Isrelnort - the ashen coast.
Right away I see way more players then on map1
New vendors show me their vares, that I am instantly eager to buy once I earn the money.
    And several quests!
Now the difficulty change is there, but it was a fun challenge, mobs I needed for quests are few lvls higher, died few times, but had fun!
(Now also a thing new players are not aware of are the xp buffs, from pots, guilds , events and so on.
While I barely hit lvl 15 and was on map2, players arriving there, that have knowledge of the game, were already 16-18, so yeah questing was way harder for me)

Fast forward, it took me around 3-4 days to get from lvl1 to lvl 17 and get to last town on map2

By this time, I've already heard how cool it will be when I get to this "Ayvo, new map, new content"
For a long time in games, I didn't feel this urge, intrigue , eagerness to get to new content. So definatly a big plus for that feeling.

And here, is where my true problem begins.
And if devs (gms) read thus, please do consider the perspective of a brand new player that WANTS to get into the game!
Someone who already is hooked up.

So, world chat community, most of wich are old players, they do tell you "do yellow quests and you will get ayvo quests" but it's pretty dull and I bet many of them don't even remember how where exactly. Like I only got obscure answers.

Now you get to the end of the yellow quest chain, and (as it seems, or maybe as you were told by soneone) but you still have like 4-5 yellow quests mostly of them are elite bosses, that a new player... just no way to solo, like 0%.
One of them beying Shadow of berengar(aka six shadows).
So that one, people know that you "don't need".
But you still have no quests in Ayvo.
You start to ask around, being lvl 17, some say
"Na just go ayvo, you should have quests"
    others say
"Hmm I think too low lvl"
    and some say
"Well, look around you should have lab quest"
(Ofc I have no idea what lab is, for a long time I tought lab is short for the observatory dg in Narr-Shadar)

So without knowing wtf to do, I kinda logged out that day.
Next day, I tried to find a grp for those elites I still had.
Out of 5 elite quests, I've done only 1, and that was pure luck, a lvl 24 was passing by, and he helped.
So, no groups for that content or alts just solo everything and they don't take "lowbies" into consideration (I don't blame them, if u can solo, you just go solo it's normal)

Did all blue quests from all towns before.
Experience from those is ... 10xp per quest, lol. I didn't even get half a lvl.
(Reminding I have no buffs at all)

About an hour I was looking for a grp for elites, but with 0 succes. Not a soul pmd me.
So, 2nd day, I log off, with a bitter taste,  that I am stuck...

Day 3 , I did all the blue quests again, was STILL lvl17. (Ffs)
And I decide to Google this issue.
From 2011 to 2023 tens of posts about this, all say completely different things.
Seems I need to kill that one elite, to progress... to play the game...
Trying to find a grp, again with no result.

    Day4, I'm still 17, I'm pissed I wanna play the game!!wtf?!
I start to actively state my inconvenience in world chat.
Many tell me to "gtfo , just unninstall nub", completely understandable...
At this point, I'm am just running in circles. Stuck, trying to find a grp, getting passed off even more. I log off.

    Day5
More Google, more whining in world chat, finally a person lvls 32, comes over, helps me kill some elites, quests that lead to killing even bigger elites.
But now I've finally got a quest to go to this "swamp"...
Oh boy, as a new player, swamp is NOT A FUN PLACE! ITS HORIBLE, THE SLIME ONE SHOTS YOU,  TOWERS ONE SHOT YOU wtf is even going on?!
Then I get told,  I don't need to quest there, that's old content.

    Okay, phew, that's a relief.

    But what now?
I guess I'll figure it out tommorow.

    Day 6.
Google again. Complain IN CAPS IN WORLD CHAT, everyone has a different answer.
People tell me I actually have to do swamp yellow quests.
3 hours I spend there, without any help.
Without knowing what I am doing.
3 hours, with all equipment broken.
I dont know how, but I manage to find the quest guy, and bam...

    Finally!!! AYVO!?!
    ..........
    New Enemyes.
Lab... stands for labyrinth, now I know.

Spending another hour trying to find a grp for lab... I log off.

    7th day.
One week I have been the same level.
    I cannot progress.
    I don't get new quests.
    I am frustrated.
I don't want to play this game. This is just not fun...

Oh, I see Finally someone is making a group for lab, I'll pm them right away!!
"Sorry man, 17 too low for old new lab, no tank"

Yep, last straw. Screw this game.

2 days I had no interest in  losing in the game, then, said to myself "I'll give it 1 last chance"
I logged in, and started complaining in world chat...
How these things alienate new players from the game.
    "Then quit, unninstall"
    I get in response.
Then a kind person, 32lvl , says that they will take me throu lab.
2 deaths and 1.5 hours later.
    Quest done!

Omg , now I get ayvo?!?!

    .......
    ..........
No, I get a quest for berengar tower dungeoun...
2011 content, that no one absolutely does in a grp of 5 people, because there are no players that would need that content, and those who make alts just get carried.

I've spent 4 hours asking, begging (pathetic) for someone to help me.

A person wich earlier told me to "gtfo world chat". Now several hours later, agreed to take me there so I will just shut up.
I'm already frustrated af, I don't like the game, I don't care what ayvo has to offer...

So be do berengar tower easy.

NOW DO I GET TO GO AYVO?!
    .....
    .......
Na man... you need easy... normal AND HARD .... for some mysterious reason...
You need 3 difficulties of a dungeoun
That no one does on any difficulty...

    BUT WAIT!!!
Remeber those few quests with elites?
    Quests like "Sea monster"
    Wich don't even give xp...
They only give reputation... (but I guess that reputation is for older content, right?)
..... rep for older content right man?...
    Oh....
    Oooh....
So to enter this God forgot dungeoun on normal difficulty I need 650 reputation, with a faction created in 2011?!
    That no one cares about...?
Okay... this person helps me.  We go into mc territory,  we kill few these elites... NICE, I HAVE THE REP!
The person who carries me, says they need to go , so we must hurry...
    We do normal...
    My carry goes ofline.

But I still need hard mode of this crap dungeoun, gaaaaawd.
For another hour I beg in chat.
    Another 32 agrees to help...
We go to the dungeoun entrance....

    BAM

    YOU NEED 1750 REPUTATION...

This carry says "na sorry dude, gwg soon don't have time"
    Wow... great.
What a great mechanic, to gatekeep new players...

It's like big billboards saying "New players gtfo we don't like you, we don't want you. (c)
                               Signed: Devs with love"

10 days of being lvl 17, not beying able to play the game, forced to beg others to get carried cause no one does that content...
That's how I felt when I got to ayvo...

My point is, I really think game would have A LOT more new players if not for gatekeeping things like that.
There is no reason to force new players to "expirience" content from 2011.
And hearing how cool is t4 t5 in ayvo, cause that's new content, and everyone there is having fun etc...

I would like to make an analogy with a game I come from...

    That is world of warcraft.
And for anyone who is familiar  or played it...
Imagine, everyone is questing/raiding in wrath of the lich king, while new players are forced to complete MoltenCore raid (wich no one ever does anymore ofc) otherwise they cannot progress further in-game.  How many new players would that retain?

So yea, that is the experience of a new player.
Imho that should be cut out.
Like no mandatory swamp/lab/berengar tower. Just end on six shadows , and next quest go ayvo...
There is no reason to force anyone throu that.

    I am now lvl26 , ayvo t2.
And still think that "old content" should be optional not mandatory and frustrating for newbies.
(I mean I do lab everyday now, and it's fine, but I'm not forced to...)
I hope devs take any of these in consideration.
And I bet refreshing the leveling experience from 1-15 , with newer content (faster and modern) would attract more new players.

    Anyways.
That's my exp so far :)
See ya all in the underwater zone really soon xD

    Warriors!

It's time to say goodbye to the Snow Boundary: tomorrow, 07.02.2023, at 08:00 CET our game servers will be stopped due to the end of the World Creation Day celebration. As a result of the reboot, the holiday island will be disabled and the event crafting tasks, holiday items in the Miracle Shop will become unavailable and the number of Good luck Tokens will also be canceled.

The game will be unavailable for about 4 hours.

Also, do not forget that used elixirs and minions will be paused, and the seeker's stamina will be returned if the player is in the dungeon at the time of the restart.

We kindly ask you not to plan anything important during this period and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
