Malik Campbell reacted to 100xp in BR server problems
Currently the server is very unbalanced, the number of active players on the Sentinels side is very large compared to the Legion

Every day that passes I see players migrating to the Sentinels side because of low demand for items on the legion side, in events like Halloween we cannot find groups to enter dungeons at levels below lvl32, I didn't want to have to come to this but we need urgent changes to the game's quality of life

I'm going to suggest a crucial change to help balance things out, in the past the market made sense, but nowadays with the possibility of falling against guilds of the same faction does not make sense

I would like to suggest the unification of markets, With this change the game will always be balanced as the more active side will always provide interest to the less active side.

I will take advantage of the opportunity and suggest some more changes

It would be great if at escort events where the objective is to escort a member of the guild, the character's life bar would be visible on the side of the screen similar to the bar for group members

This way, all players in the area could use support skills when playing under escort with greater ease. and it would also be easier to see the character's hp status

next suggestion, maximum level characters should gain talent points instead of xp in daily missions.

next suggestion, on map 2 players who killed other players outside of war event times would receive a wanted symbol, Players marked as wanted would receive hit kills from NPCs from the enemy faction, preventing higher level players from being in spam areas

    Warspear Online

some malicious players use mandatory respawns in certain areas to prevent lower level players from playing

Taking 4 minutes to kill a full book dk with the best items the game can offer? No, it's not overrated. It's a good ammount of time actually.

If there had been a warden in its place, you would've taken 7 minutes just to see you couldn't kill it.

exactly you don't care if your suggestion is balanced or not if it will make the game better or completely kill a class as long as the harm is not being done on your side of the game yeah you don't care

its funny how the mc topics are filled with more elfs suggesting changes to mc classes than mc themselves

bd have 3 resist stack on demand, reaper have 2 resist only when can transform, otherwise will mostly die to cc

delayed death doesnt work with dot like bleed, poison etc which is a massive flaw when compare to bd shield, can easily absorb 5-6k dmg of all kind with relatively short cd and long duration
25% basic hp heal when transform and need a very long time to reactive, compare to bd with 35% heal total and non-stop healing as long as u hitting something
most class have resist skill nowaday, the only reliable stun reaper have and if it resisted, u have nothing left to fight, dmg from the skill isnt that good and the cd is too long
best i can do on a cloth player with 60% resil is 3k+. If u complaint about losing becuz having low resil, i dont even know why u bother play pvp

try build a reaper and figure out how to make it strong

    This doesn't make sense whatsoever.

For the rest of the topic, I've seen more tremendous numbers coming from classes which are not supposed to deal such damage (first of all because they're not damagers) and guess what: they are all from the elf side.

Malik Campbell reacted to Mike in "High Summoning" Charmer's key talent needs a slight fix.
There's a talent for charmer that not many use since most charmers often go for other branches, most notably "Fearsome Horde" (2x Dog per call use talent branch) or in some rare cases the "Spawn of Gloom"(The new summon that replaces bird) which on it's own needs a rework. But im not going  to be talking about that in this topic, instead. I'll be talking about the least used branch, "Triune". Which to me, seems to be the best charmer staff support branch out of the three. But unfortunately one of the key talents, "High Summoning" functions in a really weird way, especially if you will be using it solely for staff. Doubt any charmer would ever use mace in this branch as the "Fearsome Horde" tree branch is far better and more suited for a mace playstyle. Nonetheless, the "High summoning" talent makes it so that your Chaotic Assistance (Bird) gets a buff (For 18 seconds, the birds get a 15% attack speed buff and a 10% Penetration buff) after using the "Summoner Skill"

Here's a simplified explanation of the issue.

    Example 1:

In this image, there's no dog(Call) in the location, which means < Becomes unusable.

    Example 2:

In here, we can see that there is a dog in the location, which makes the skill< Usable.
The issue is, to be able to use "Summoner skill" you will need have a dog  down for you to be able to use the "Summoner skill" meaning that you will be forced to sacrifice a dog in order for you to be able to buff your birds in exchange any damage dealer or an enemy with high Lifesteal parameter can make use of that dog that you spawned in to heal themselves from killing your dog that basically does 0 damage if you're on a magic damage build, just because you cannot use the "Summoning skill" since it is unusable without a dog(Call) in your location. A swift and slight fix  to this would be that anyone who has "High Summoning" key talent tree unlocked, would have the option to be able to use the "Summoning Skill" whenever a Chaotic Assistance is active, instead of  the older requirement of needing a dog to be in your location.

Malik Campbell reacted to Abi in Nerf Beastmaster
it sounds so easy when you say it that way yet its not the case, charmers dogs are way more fragile compared to beastmaster cat they are easily bursted its also near impossible to have 4k hp on dogs, and it require a branch talent to be able to place 4 dogs at sametime, on other hand charmer dont have the luxury of both healing himself and his summons like Beastmaster or having damage reduction from his summons
the beastmaster also have the luxury of dealing a lot of damage while also being a healer and a support class while charmer can either pick between dealing damage or being a healer ( based on going mace or staff build ) and cant be both this leaves the charmer with nothing but the advantage of stunning but even then that got nerfed by introducing bracelets with resist enchantment making stun skills not consistent

its easy to complain about a class that you have no idea how it works or played

forgot to mention that beastmaster cat inherit the stun parameter from the class so its not like they lack in stuns too

yes! but i would say reduce the healing amount and speed from tree rather than the immunity time and i think cat damage is fine but that aura damage is a bit overwhelming

Malik Campbell reacted to Solo EU-Emerald in Few things I would like to see in a Rebalance
    Introduction

Hi there, I'm Solo, a PvE Shaman from EU-Emerald.

I've been playing Shaman for years and I have tried almost everything about the class.
Now that the snow rebalance is coming close, I would like to point a few facts about the Shaman that could be changed without making any gamebreaking buffs or nerfs.
The stats for the Shaman skills were taken from @Ancient One's Shaman Guide which I highly recommend checking out: https://forum.warspear-online.com/index.php?/topic/318942-venks-ultimate-shaman-guide-v1120/

1)Changing the "Ancestors' Hand" Expert skill
This skill has only one purpose, pulling people out of danger, but it has some massive flaws.
The first being the low shield that it provides, and the second that if the enemy is impared by any skill, the pull will not work and using Shamanic Cleansing on them first and then waiting to pull is just not reliable and in 80% of the situations the ally would just die.

The first thing we see is that you get punished for even leveling this skill in the first place by the energy cost, even though in 100% of the cases, you will not be leveling this skill because Shaman has a lot more important skills.

So, how would I change this skill?

I would change it in a few steps:

With this change, I think this expert skill would actually see some more usability ingame.

    2) Totally reworking the "Power of the Earth" Expert skill

This Expert skill was useful before as a good way to instantly get some Health back and be more tankier with the Health Increase.
But, in today's meta, this skill has almost to no use.
In PvE it does almost nothing at 1/4 and there are better skills to max that would help out more than this.
In PvP, that is the same case. In 99% of the scenarios, maxing Shamanic Cleansing is always better than maxing this expert because the Shamanic Cleansing gives more effective Health thus making it easier to survive.

The skill on paper looks good, but in gameplay, it's awful. The duration isnt that long, since every 2 seconds it reduces the health it added and the healing and health increase isn't that noticeable or game changing. The skill is so outdated that after playing Shaman for years, I haven't even bought this expert skill and I probably wont until it gets changed.

So, how would I change this skill?

I would rework the skill completely and give Shaman something that it actually deserves. A bit more reliable damage and a friend.
I would change this Expert to be similar to Druids "Elemental Support" and it would spawn an Elk which would have these stats:

    3) Changing the Heal Totem
Heal totem is one of the most powerful arsenal in Shamans kit when it comes to healing. But, like everything in this world, it's not perfect.
Heal Totem suffers from one thing and it's not success. It's the fact, that after casting it, it takes 3 seconds for the first tick to heal which is in my opinion way too long and usually leads to people dying before the first tick even activates.

So, how would I change this skill?

To make this skill more reliable, but still keeping it balanced, I would do the following:

With this change, the Heal Totem would stay at the same power, but just a little more reliable.

    4) Changing the Visual of the "Tribe Ritual" Expert skill

The last, but not the least important change of them all; returning the old "Tribe Ritual" Expert skill animation.

The old animation was perfect for the skill, when you saw it, you knew someone got buffed with it. This "new" animation is just a "Relic of Agility" animation slapped on top of the Expert skill and called it a day.

Me, and some other shamans would like to see the spinning book return to the game once again, especially now with the "Shamanic Generosity" Talent which casts "Tribe Ritual" on every single party member in the radius.

The next 2 GIFs were taken from a fellow Shaman's forum post @Marchielo in which he also wanted the return of the old animation. (https://forum.warspear-online.com/index.php?/topic/432176-please-bring-back-the-old-tribal-ritual-visually/)

The "new" animation we have currently:

The animation every Shaman player wants back (and updated visually a bit to fit in newer designs):

    5) Conclusion
Shaman might be one of the more powerful classes for MC side, but it is still not a match to the exceeding amount of healing added to the game with every update. So with these changes, I think Shaman and the MC side would have a better chance at fighting and surviving.

Thank you for your time, and stay PvE.

Malik Campbell reacted to Higgings in Few Skill Suggestions for PVP - GVG
I don't really understand this desire to buff an already strong class such as Seekers. Most of those suggestions imply that this class might help in controlling enemies. I don't think this is how this class was designed. Especially if we take into account how dangerous is giving a class with tremendous dps a stun. On top of that, they even receive halved damage. Again, the way this class is built is confused. It reminds me of old bladedancers.
  16. Thanks
Malik Campbell reacted to Abi in Hunter's skills Range
all of hunter's stun skills range is 4yards or less making the hunter being outranged when it comes to stuns by almost all classes including melee classes, as well as having "sapping shot" one of hunter's key skills for PvP and PvE at 4yards range making the hunter takes extra damage, waste time trying to close the gap towards their target or even resulting in them dying in mass fights because they tried to use one of their skills which is unnatural considering hunter is supposed to be a ranged class capitalizing on attacking from afar to win their matchups

thus I wanna suggest the increase in hunter's stuns and sapping shot skills to   5 yards so they can have equal opportunity as other ranged classes and not getting themselves killed because they tried to use one of their skills from afar considering how fragile and easy to kill hunters are in current meta

    Thank you

Rebalance coming soon, and devs looking for ideas.

I don't really know if it's really worth it, but here they are

    Rework/ fix ideas.

Skill "absolute reflexes" :  add up damage reduction in the amount of 40%/50%/60%/70% of the current dodge amount.

    2nd idea of "absolute reflexes"
Leave it as it was before (asked for this many times)

Talent "thirst of murder" : now it adds  "piercing attack"  in the amount of 20% or 25%

Talent "elusiveness" allow to reuse elusive jump skill without cooldown, the second use reduce dmg of the skill by  70%.

Skill  "dodging " :  decrease cooldown  to 25 sec and increase duration of the skill by 15 sec.

Skill "kick in the back" : increase effect from 45% to 50%, aditional  decrease attack speed.

Skill "poisonous blades": now all attacks under "poisonous blades" buff  deals poisoning debuff, decrease time buff from 14 seconds to  10 seconds, increase damage from 30%-35%-40%-50%, to 45%-50%-55%-60%, increase poisoning debuff from 6 to 8 seconds.

Skill "stealth" : aditional increase movement speed by 15%-20%-25%-30%-35% if character health amount is reduced to 50%.

Skill "ricochet" : now all aditional targets from the skill are also affected by poisoning blades.

    Basic Skills

Thorn of Death: An attack that deals physical damage in the amount of P units and D% of the character's physical power to the opponent.

Exhalation of Darkness: Applies the "Exhaling darkness" buff to a character for 10 sec. During the next successful attack on the enemy, the effect will cause magical damage in the amount of P units and D% of the character's magical power and will deal the "Stun" effect for R sec. The effect does not allow you to move, attack, or use skills.

Provocation:Applies the "Aggression" debuff to the opponent for T sec. The effect causes monsters to attack the character, and players only lose the target of the attack.

Threads of Darkness: Instantly moves the chosen opponent towards the character and deals to them the "Immobilization" by T sec. and "Absorption by darkness" - by R sec. The "Immobilization" effect chains the opponent to the spot. The "Absorption by darkness" effect reduces all incoming damage by P%.

Dark Shield: Applies Dark Shield to the character for T sec., granting a P% chance to reduce any incoming damage from auto-attacks and instant skills by D% of Physical Defense for monsters’ attacks, and by A% of Physical Defense for players’ attack. Additionally reduces any incoming damage over time by X% of Physical Defense for monsters’ attacks, and by Y% of Physical Defense for players’ attacks.

    Expert skills

Death Call: Applies Aggression to enemies within 3 yards around the character for 6 sec. and Death Call to the character for 6 sec. Aggression taunts monsters to attack the character and distracts players from their current target. Death Call applies Stun every 1.5 sec. on enemies within 3 yards around the character for T sec. While Stunned, the target cannot move, attack, and use skills. Each applied Stun reduces cooldown for Secret Reserves by R sec.

Steel Hurricane: Pulls enemies within 2 yards to the character, striking enemies within 1 yards with physical damage for P% of Physical Power, or with magical damage for D% of Magical Power.      Saturation: Increases the character's Health Theft parameter by P% while the skill is active.

Sharp Shadow: Attacks the enemy with magical damage for a total P% of character's Physical Power and M% of character's Magical Power, applying Stun to them for T sec. When affected by Saturation, the character additionally heals for H% of Maximum Health on use.

Blow of the Silence: Deals the "Power of silence" buff to the character for T sec. The effect increases the physical and magical power of the character by P% until the next attack. An attack under the effect will also deal the "Mute" effect for R sec. to target and all opponents within a radius of 1 yards. Maximum number of player targets is Y, there is no limit on the number of monster targets.

Secret Reserves: When health is reduced to H% from the max amount, it increases the character's Health Regeneration parameter by E% and the speed of health regeneration by S% for 13 sec. The effect is triggered only once every 90 sec. Reduces the damage received by the character from monsters by P% while the effect is on recharge.

Bloody Barrier: Dark Shield skill adds an additional Bloody Barrier positive effect to the character for 20 sec. every time the character suffers total damage equal to 33% of their maximum health. The effect ignores the next incoming damage from an auto attack or opponent skill which causes instant damage. Maximum number of effects is 2.

Malik Campbell got a reaction from Necromancer98989 in Should I Even Continue To Invest My Time And Money?
Good day everyone, It has been a while since I've been on here, and who knows it could be my last when I've made my final decision. I remember back in late 2015 when I started playing the game, it was at its peak (in terms of player count of course), now compare it to today, and yikes, but to be honest the game has gone through great improvements throughout the years that helped players progress through the game faster, but were these improvements implemented too late? Here's what I think, Back then experienced players (The ones who are still here or ones who quit playing) would say here on the forum "Grind and Farm", people who are f2P and those who occasionally throw 10 dollars at the game would reply with "But the process for both is very long that the fun in the game disappears due to little progress being made for us to reach our goal to buy better gear to move forward in the game", then the experienced player(s) replied back with " That's how it is, the process takes YEARS for you to reach where you should, it will be WORTH IT" , let me tell you something, most people will not feel motivated to play a game to progress to current content (at the time) that takes YEARS to reach without wiping out their credit or debit card, were is the FUN in that? And I wasn't the only one on this boat because of this, the game population slowly decreased and because of this, the game gained a rep for being "P2W" or "P2P" (pay to progress) leading up to this very day. The Devs finally released an update that made the grind finally worth it, gold is dropped by mobs, Map 1 (Mountain Clans and Firstborns, the other two races are just walking and more walking) and Map 2 are (IMO) fun to play through now, Map 1 DGs are easier, fun and rewarding than ever before, couple days ago I came across a post on this forum saying that people are "taking advantage" of the Map 1 DGs which to me is not true and if that's really true, make the Devs take farming out of the game I dare you. Even though these changes made things easier and far more enjoyable the thing that saddens me is that these changes didn't come earlier. Before the changes, the game was unbearable when it came to earning gold, but the gameplay, story, and art style I couldn't get enough of, caused me to take multiple hiatuses since 2017 to the day they released the update that changed many things, waiting for the devs to make the game more enjoyable via updates. Many times I wondered to myself "Would the game still be popular if the update came earlier?" or "What if the Devs listened more to the F2P players?" because if you didn't know, F2P people are potential customers who would play a game for some time and if they like the product they'd start purchasing in-game products supporting the game they started to love (even I started to purchase Miracle Coins), but for Warspear, many didn't enjoy it and left it for better products that offer better experiences and respects their time. What I see now is a dying game, the game population is very low and might be getting lower too, I remember trying out the Sentinel Faction which has the most players but they aren't as helpful as the other side that I've decided to pledge myself to The Legion, even though their numbers are small they are helpful by far compared to the sentinels. I'm losing faith that the game can ever bounce back from its ever slowly decline, feeling like the money I put into it might be all for nothing and that I shouldn't purchase anything more in the future and feeling like my time invested in it isn't worth it and that I should stop playing, thinking I should leave the game for good and move onto something greater before the Devs pull the life support plug on us.

Your concerns about the game's declining population and the impact of late updates on player motivation are valid. It's unfortunate when changes that could improve the player experience come too late. The balance between free-to-play and pay-to-progress models is crucial for a game's success. It's essential for developers to listen to the player base and adapt accordingly. If you're considering moving on to other experiences, it's completely understandable. Your time and investment should be valued, and you should focus on what brings you joy and satisfaction. As a graduation gift, I hope you find new and exciting gaming experiences or activities that bring you enjoyment and fulfillment.
