When you type /\ into chat it won't appear unless there are characters before it (unless another /\ ofc) and whatever is typed inside, after, or just /\ alone will not show up, it will be as if nothing happened. What is the reason for this?

/ - is a predefined symbol to write executable command to debug game client. Nothing special, but it's only for developers. I bet, in other games these kind of commands are using to change chats or perform various actions, so that's pretty common thing.
