I find it fair enough. New statistics on armors would only increase the number of builds used by arena characters. Developpers have already been doing a great job by adding new sets of Greatness pieces, thus I see low reasons for them not to put brand new items!

Hello there! Well, as first, I think it is necessary to specify the scenarios in which you can drop a certain item. •Dungeon: in this place, the chance for you to obtain a drop is completely Random and "luck based" (RNG). The number of the people in your party, the ammount of stams used for that dungeon or the ammount of enemies killed etc... do not affect this rate whatsoever. Everytime you run in a dungeon, you'll know the rarity of your drop only once you manage to survive inside this tricky maze. •During a hunt/quest: more generally, when you find a kill a big mini-boss (red crown on the top right corner of the enemy's HUD). Altough it is said to have been changed, the mechanisms of hunting bosses is quite different from the dungeon: in fact, the party number actually affects your drop rate there and the rarity of your drop as well. If you manage to "solo" that boss (kill it without being in a party) you shall obtain very rate items, but mind an important thing: no one grants you that the boss will give you one of his precious items even if you solo it. In fact, this system is still "luck based" and, even without party, you may receive 0. I hope I have been clear. Don't hesitate to ask again in case something isn't clear. I bid you a nice day!

I did it too back in old days. I see nothing wrong with that. The easiest way to do it is reselling consumable items like Tele scrolls and Potions through the market. Nobody will know it is you selling those items xd. And if they insult, just block them.
