Yes please. I would really appreciate that! 😄 If its possible to do so, without messing up the whole flow of commments. xD /---------/ I don't want to be one of those people that say buff one side, nerf the other without providing any logical reasoning whatsoever. Let's just look at this from a different perspective: What new character would you choose to make this anniversary season and why? A: My preference would be: Warden: It requires me to spend the least amount of time, money and effort as compared to the other classes to become next to invincible. I want to have that feeling of invincibility where 10 or 15 people surround and try to kill me but can't. (no sarcasm intended). Also for practicality purposes, Warden is hands down the best tank in the game due to Block heal and I don't want to rely on any healer for anything ranging from the toughest dungeon to any raid bosses. Arena blocking, I can simply use a well amped warden equipped with pvp gears to waste anyone's time in arena if they're not courteous or being bullies. Also, as I warden I have an advantage in using guild skills like unity and globe. For example, imagine if one of my opposite guilds is trying to kill a raid boss; I can just walk right into them, position myself exactly on top of their sweet tushies and call in 50 other people and ruin it for them. My next order of preference would be Bladedancer, Mage, Paladin. I wouldn't want to make an mc class because well, I'll be honest - compared to the skills of the above mentioned classes my hunter, or shaman or lock have subpar skills. I'm not trying to rub it into anyone. I'm just telling you my preference and thought style as a normal warspear player. Now imagine this is just one player. Now what happens when the majority of the warspear player base thinks like this including the incoming new players? Player 2: Okay, lets make a BD, I hear its one of the best classes to play: Tanky, outrageous damage, plethora of resist skills, as well as control skills. I level my BD, some friends help me clear chainless in map2. I join their level 7 guild. I become friends with them. They help me clear map4 dungeons : rg, tt. I'm grateful to have met these nice people. I finally reach level 28. Maybe let's try how a Deathknigh is? Ugh, I've spent too much time and effort on this BD. I'll just stay here. Why did you chose the class? Because it was one of the best across all the 16 classes available in game. Will I spend another 2 or 6 months into another class? maybe. Another faction? Ummm, I'm already settled here man. Maybe sometime later. . . . . Player 277: Okay, I hear mage can solo most of the content in game and is really good in the pvp aspect too. Let's try that shall we? and then the tilt starts. This is what's known as a Megatrend. ( Megatrends are long term developments over several years that have a formative effect on all areas of the society, in this case the warspear society ergo making a steady tilt towards one faction) The reason I've outlined this is to answer the question of why the data across almost all the servers show an elf overpopulation. Everyone wants to win. That sense of achievement of triumphing over your enemies; If not always maybe at least once in a while. In my opinion, cutting off creation of new classes is not the solution to control the overpopulation of one faction. The core skills the make a class themselves have to be addressed for a long term solution. Players themselves have to be interested to make and play the class. Balance is a delicate thing to make for opposing faction as there will always be people with two sides of the story and who has two opinions of the same skills. I really hope the announced skill balances offer something that makes some bold changes. Good day to you all.💙 PS: What new char would you choose to make this anniversary? Forget about your friends and guild and everything for a second. What class would you make just based on what you know about their skills ?

Ah alright. I'm not able to see the comments on the closed thread on this thread so I was just wondering. I posted a comment there and few mins later the thread was abruptly closed. I was looking forward to replies from there. Just wanted to know what I did wrong. Yeah, I understand. Thank you @Higgings! I wasn't aware there was such a distinction in the EU server also between the two opposing factions.

This thread was closed abruptly without any message. May I know why please? @Jcbreff 😕 sigh.
-
Both if possible. xD If you had to prioritize, I would say gear first. How long have you been playing warspear for? Who introduced you to the game?
-
If you're looking solely for arena, and 1 vs 1 - I'd say charmer is the best class at the legion side. Good luck!

Я не знаю русского, поэтому не могу выразить хорошо, но надеюсь, вы понимаете общую идею. Хорошего дня, сэр.

Wow. Exquisite. I can imagine this being a short animation trailer for warspear.

That comment. I'm dying of laughter. Oh my God. This guy has taken sarcasm to unseen levels. I was sitting in a public place having my tea and I actually started laughing so hard that the people around me are staring at me like I'm some kinda lunatic.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Requesting link. -
This concept looks really nice! 100 points for originality. So it'll be something like that constant damage debuff you get when you enter the opposite alliance territory in map 4, t3 and t4 but on much a smaller scale.
-
Well, being the only aoe Damage ( oops debuff**) skill a warlock has, don't have a point of reference to compare it with. Maybe do a comparison just for discussion purposes with mage skills like teleport and shards to compare and contrast their damage? Would give us an idea on where the damage of the one and only aoe dd skill a lock has, stands at. Any mages here would like to pitch in?

Will aigrind release the odds someday ?
TheCaster replied to Aglaophotis's question in Questions & Answers
Have to admit, Kinda disappointed after reading this thread. Expected a bit more transparency at the end of the discussion instead of the abrupt hammer down. Thank you for answering anyway. @Jcbreff ! -
Have you calculated these values on dummy? and at different skill levels and different mdmgs? Because I ran a test on my lock after seeing this post and these values don't match. There are a few deviations, I haven't tried at different skill levels yet though. Only at 1/5.

Why this condition specifically? -
Best pvp 1vs1 class. One of the best affordable solo farmers in game. Who is the best person you've met in ws and why? Tag em if they're here . 😛🤭 P.S : I can't believe I found this thread so late. I love it!

Well, I feel it's because the game content is constantly evolving (kudos to the devs💙) but the some of the class skill improvements are not sufficient to catch up to the game such as this one or balance it. An accuracy boost on instincts or an accuracy cut on hunters mark rework would attract people to invest more into this class. I have a level 31 speed pve hunter and personally speaking I'd rather make another class from scratch for pvp.

Welcome mate! Depends on how you'd like to play, Tanker, healer or damagers? Also What're you interested in? Pve pvp?

Suggestions for improvement on Hunter's mark.
TheCaster replied to ihunxl's topic in Discussions and Suggestions
How about an accuracy reduction factor introduced along with the def reduction of the hunter's mark. It's a debuff skill to begin with so it seems appropriate. Again, a very minor change that doesn't really affect pvp scenario much. -
So basically like a sub class or job that you can choose that gives you new passives as well as skills. Would open up entirely new possibilities of playstyle. I'd definitely pay money to see that.
-
Crit is kinda useless in pvp. If you have a decent amount of resi, crit never works. So moot point. 😔
-
Yeah, increase hit frequency or base damage increase, both sounds good. There have already been a lot of calls to make this a pure dd skill in almost every forum. It can resisted. It counts as a debuff skill. Increasing its potency sounds good. And for the love of God, no more combos. Lol, can't ask for everything now, can we? I'd still prioritize for survivability and aoe dmg increase skill reworks over more control for lock. Only defensive skill a lock has. I see why everyone is plying to get some changes here lol. There are not many other options for lock. @Khrone Which server do you play in btw?
-
Sphere already has a combo with relaxation, it would be difficult to use so many combos effectively in battle, don't you think? How making life exhaust aoe btw? And increase its potency like those bats in st normal and stackable ? (Exhaust cd would have to be reduced for this to work effectively) Those bats have only 3k hp ish but hard to kill them sometimes because their exhaust stacks, much more powerful than lock exhaust at 5/5 and they have a very good amount of dodge. (lock doesn't dodge obviously) And Dark seal can be made a passive debuff, that applies to all enemies in combat with the warlock every certain number of attacks or once every 10s or so? Works on unlimited numbers in pve but 2-5 players max from 1/4 to 4/4 in pvp scenarios maybe?
