  1. The mushrooms in corners at boss room. @lore Make sure all your party members hit the mushroom before killing it. You'll get 2 types of buff from it: 1. A damage buff that last for a very short time that lets you deal more damage to the boss. 2. A heal like buff, It has that paladin skill animation. I don't know its exact workings but it helps. Keep repeating the process each time as you see the 2nd buff fading by killing the subsequent mushrooms. Even after this you need a good amount of solidity. So this is kind of important too. We still had cases where healers got 1 shotted with that crit targeted aoe skill. Let me know how it goes.💙

  3. Hey everyone! Just a small edit of an Engineer raid boss war in US- Sapphire server. I understand there's an issue of some skill imbalances and dwindling population in MC side. So, Special Thanks to everyone who joined the fight. Hope to see more of this soon. My Video.mp4 In my personal opinion, relics are kind of lifesavers for casters and some other classes. If they're like any other control skills that can be resisted, I Kind of don't see a point in having them.
  5. I noticed from the video that; for each 5k hp mob that you kill, the 60k Elite enemy gets a Defense buff like those in STL easy dg. So maybe skipping on killing the small ones might help if the party is not all sufficiently high amped. Also, Amazing work @Jolga. This will help all of us a lot ! Thank you for this man.   6. It looks like that Resist was triggered for something else because the relic effect doesn't trigger until you attack him. As soon you hit with your first attack that caused damage the relic was triggered. The relic blue animation was present until you attacked him and caused damage. So the relic worked properly I think. Also, I don't think you can resist relic effects, they're kind of absolute? Can't figure out what you resisted though. Hope this helps! 😄

  8. Hey everyone. I've been trying to upload a video onto the forum for a while now and I always get the "-200" error notification as soon the upload bar reaches full. At first I thought it would be because of a size limit so I reduced the quality of the video a bit and bought it down by a few MBs but it still showed the same error. It's not a youtube video. I've got it saved on my device and I'm trying to upload from there. Just for your reference, here's a snip of the error pop up message: It's not an internet connectivity issue too. So far, I've not encountered any problems for uploads over my Wi-Fi on any other platforms. I have tried uploading it over Wi-Fi. The connection is quite stable. The file is in mp4 format. This is my current internet speed and stability while trying to make the video upload. I have double checked it. The error message doesn't specify what the issue is(just a "-200" popup), so its really difficult to discern what the problem is from my side. 🙁 The video size is around 150 MB. I've also tried uploading it from my mobile device but the error pops up even before the upload starts. Please let me know what can be done. I kind of spent a bit of time editing the video and was looking forwards to uploading it here. @Akasha @Higgings @Holmes I've been trying to upload it for the past 1 week without any luck. If anyone in the ws community has faced this issue, please let me know if you had found a solution. Thank you.😄
  9. Following up on @lore's post, I noticed a raging discrepancy in the Test yesterday. I participated in the Orcinus raid boss war yesterday. First of all: Amazing work Devs! It's certainly a toughie but exciting to try. Nice touch on those phantom defenders by the way. I'd like to share my experience from yesterday here with all of you guys. I witnessed first-hand the difference in AOE stuns. Wave after wave of MCs charged at sentinels yesterday, and believe me it's not that they were weak. I inspected mc players across all the different servers; TO, EU, RU, SA. It's safe to say a majority of them had adequate arena gears and greatness gear + accessories with more than +8 amps, lot +10s on an average. Please correct me if I've got anything wrong: Paladins jumps into the wave of mcs before they even reach with shield on and apply fetters of justice. All skills and movement locked. Meanwhile mages tele into the middle of a wave with ennoblement & ethereal barrier on; shattered stones for AOE stuns and back to back gear stuns. While these 2 classes, jump in and stun, druid comes from behind and roots the whole group. While a few waves of attacks fail, we try to adapt by stunning them 1st, But a group of BDs just switched on their Spirit of resistance and and rushed at the whole wave stunning the lot of them. Nothing could stop them before they crashed into the wave. No Dark circle, No fear, No blind, no charmer stun, No barb charge, No fear arrow, No Hunter trap. Then comes the cycle of palas, mages and druid once BD charges in. All the while their damage classes pick us off one by one and we're standing there movements locked, skills locked; Not able to do anything just watching as our HP dwindled. We tried to use the AOE stuns and silences in our arsenal which are few as you've now realized from lore's post as compared to the other faction. Tried using Dark circle - BDs ran over them, Tried using new Lock skill, Zone of weakness again ran over by BDs. Even pool of darkness was run over, I had thought that since its a dmg skill BD would be slowed down by that but it is my understanding that Pool also appears as a debuff on enemy and BD skill resists that too? Not sure about this part; Need to cross verify. I agree hunter fear arrow gave some relief sometimes, maybe a 2s gap to heal myself before dying again. At one point, I saw a BD parry hunter trap 4/4. Not just the dmg but the stun too; Is that supposed to happen? Does that happen with ranger trap? I would try to elaborate more on mc aoe stuns but it's just that there aren't any left. I've numbered out all the classes and skills in my head to my knowledge. Before it was Wardens leading the charge with their immortality which still exists but now it's also a BD which resists everything, Shields himself, stuns everyone, Hams and attacks harder than that damn swamp slug. It provides a safety net for all the other players while they're being defended by BDs. After a few mins, people lost the motivation to keep trying. They were just being stunned and killed back to back with no hope of any counter. Is this how every war or group battle against the sentinels' side will be from now on? Not asking for much, just a fighting chance. Please don't interpret this as a rant of any sort favoring any particular side. I'm simply trying to assess the capabilities of these new skills and their interaction with already existing ones and how they affect gameplay.   10. Thank you.😄 That's the 1st thing I thought of too. Locks are not always available since I think you'd already know they're not a very popular class due to survivability issues. Why must a dozen people surround a warden while he does this one man show of block healing and holding so many of your or my friends? I hope you understand my point of view here man. Not asking for anything else. But I think we're getting a bit off topic here though since no existing skill reworks has been hinted at so far from devs. xD Have you tried the new Guild mermen event, Arena 5s, Raid boss wars; the ramifications of BD having this 4x resistance buff for 22s? @Vicstone
  11. Your first sentence answers your whole question. Warspear isn't created to make 1 class takes all. Then why does this new skills make it so? Can't kill a warden on your own? Let's wait for dispel relic to work or bring hunter, rogue, shaman, necro, charmer, dk and barb to deal more damage than block heal. What do you do when1 BD can kill a whole party of questors in t3 t4? Or takes out all my friends and comrades whose bread and butter is control skills? Same here my man, I'm here for the community.   12. I definitely understand the sentiment. That "Rip rogue" slogan ran through the test server for quite a while. Personally I don't think these many people would advocate for such an issue without any merit to it. Rooting for you guys.😄
  13. I don't understand your logic. First and foremost, for the mage to be able to use that skill it should be able to click on that character, Stone body is an emergency last save skill and makes warlocks un attackable and vice versa. Side note: Have you ever played a warlock? Do you realize, they are the only class with just one buff skill? and you want the new mage skill to remove even that? For a warlock to be able to use these skills, it should stay alive long enough. Please take a look below: Arrow of Darkness. Life exhaust. Dark circle. Pool of Darkness. Fear. Hex. Fading, Dark seal. Bloody Tribute. Relaxation. Dark seal. Stone body. Now if you're someone who made the post with at least some basic knowledge of how Lock skills work, then you will know the corresponding working and stats of the skills I've mentioned above. One common problem you'll be noticing is that all these are debuff skills. Relaxation being the only buff skill lock has. The locks out there can testament to the insane Energy regen it takes to keep this skill activated. So once again my good sir, I implore you not to make baseless posts. @Beowullf Yesterday in the test server I saw people reach almost 50% resistance. - 20% from castle scroll. - 15% from polar potion of resistance. - 6% guild buff. - 7% from just one resist accessory. Mind you, not dedicated snow resist gear that sacrifices other stats. Just 1 anniversary resist accessory. How is a warlock, a class that solely depends on its control and debuff skills going to survive in this warspear world of resist? Let's Forget about all this resist for a moment. Let me paint a picture for all the good people out there: I try to fear a charging BD at me but guess what? 100% resist during Rush. Now, it hamstrings me, starts dmg spam and I'm left with the last strands of my HP even with greatness gear and accessories. Just for laughs, let's say I somehow survive the damage spam and try to put some distance or stun the BD but guess what folks? Resist count 1. Okay so maybe I can run back some try to use circle, Oh wait, Why is that BD walking over my circle? Resist count 2. Okay run back some more <<<<<<<, Let's try fading + pool. WAIT A MIN, Where's my fading debuff gone ? Resist count 3. Fine, let's try the new skill on the way and try to silence the BD. boom Resist count 4. Oh shit, STONE BODY TIME. Starts Praying to the Gods for a Miracle. I look at the BD standing beside my bloody and battered stone body smiling at me, laughing at my face. "Just come out of stone body you little twat, I have my fingers clicked on my skills and hovering over your soon to be dead body" This may sounds funny to most of you but it's not to me and all the warlock users out there. It's just plain sad. Why must we suffer so badly after spending the same amount of time and money if not more as that person has spent into his BD? and trust me it'll not just be locks facing this issue; druids stun cycle, mage stuns, necro sleep , charmers, rangers, dks , hunters. It's understandable if their damage is low with so much resist given to them but their damage, defense, control are all outrageous. The implications of this puts all classes that gets matched up against a BD in jeopardy. For those who know Lock and BD workings, continue the story in the comments. Be creative. Seriously though, Try to find a way to keep my warlock alive.
  14. Definitely looking forward to this update @Peony. A lot of people have mixed reviews about the new skills. Skill point distribution, cd time and specific stats of the skills are yet to be revealed. Like @Higgings said, waiting for the test server to see how it pans it out. That being said, I'd like to express my views on a few: Why? Just why? I believe you can already see the reviews about this. So I'm not going to try and elaborate. Sincerely Hope this is not final. Very creative, I must say. Really looking forward to this. I hope the skeletons aren't too weak. Now it feels like that class is aptly named. Personally felt they deserved a stun or a stun bomb. But hope your recover a good amount of hp with his. Godspeed @Bruce Wayne No defensive skill? xD Glass cannon level infinite. I saw a video of a seeker soloing st hero in 6 mins I think. Tanked all 4 bosses at st hero simultaneously; with mermen talents but pretty good! Wanted to know how investing skill points into this would empower it. More reduction on incoming damage? No skill like mage ethereal barrier? xD With so much resist in play; barb skill, mage skill and Bd rush, I was hoping locks get some survivability and have a somewhat balanced attack caster like mage; One of the hardest and most challenging classes to play out there. Leveling my lock to level 30 was a lot of work. I hope it has this skill has the range of shaman weakness totem. Locks deserve it. What would this raid boss drop? Let's say a 1k physical dmg rogue or ranger uses this skill and splits into 3 copies with the all the same stats( crit, pene, speed, etc) as the main; but with only 30% physical dmg. A total of 4 rogues/ rangers with main rogue dealing 100% dmg and 3 copies doing 30% each? If a skill is used during this period, do all the 4 toons use the skill on the enemy? Correct me if my interpretation of this skill is wrong please. On a side note, It's fun being the underdog and fighting against an overcrowded and overpowered elf community to an extent. But if there are such an extensive imbalance between the skills of both sides, it makes some of us wonder whether it's worth spending time and money into the game. I myself know at least 8 - 10 people who spent approximately 300 to 400 dollars per month on the game in mc and I speak collectively for them when I say the imbalance on some of the classes is disheartening. Hoping this update solves that issue. Love the click on name to apply skills. As a healer I can't stress enough how much that helps;especially in really crowded situations. Wish there was someway to put all hotkeys together. But that's asking for too much maybe. xD Cheers to all! The updates have been rolling out at an amazing pace recently.   15. @coldeher DPS. Sorry, I should have specified. I'm a 70 Attack speed, 48 crit hunter with 1k physical damage during the dungeons. I know what you mean about the intervals but it's doable. Each charge takes 50% of your hp, if I'm not wrong. 1. Pace your DPS at first, so Ringmaster doesn't trigger the tiger charge. 2. Drag it to the bottom of the screen; farthest distance from tiger charge that comes from the top. 3. Then attack with all you've got! Ringmaster summons a shield like buff that increases its defense by a lot somewhere in between ( times with start of tiger charge mostly) , that cuts your damage by quite a margin. I have 30 vamp, so I recover decently to survive at least 1 charge. Ringmaster will be dead before 2nd charge. P. S: Only go for this, if you're confident that you can take him out before 2nd charge reaches you. VID_20200326_004939.mp4 Otherwise the best advice I've got is reduce your DPS, get more interval between each charge, stand at the intersection and dodge each charge.   16. @coldeher You mean the tiger charge during the ringmaster stage? If you're a high damage class, then the interval between each tiger charge will be quite short. I usually drag the ringmaster the bottom and kill it before the tiger charge reaches me. If you want to dodge the charges completely, I suggest you pace your damage, so you get a better interval to dodge them! Cheers!🍻 I can share the video if you'd like.

  19. Can you clarify this please? Does it mean that the number of ticks of shaman heal has reduced to 2, instead of 5? Or does it mean that shaman heal can now stack twice on the same person? Fingers crossed for the latter!
  20. As the skill develops the power and duration of the effect also increases. Maybe add this part to posion arrow? Would make a tangible difference. At higher skill levels, it would enable Hunters to stack the skill realistically thereby making it somewhat useful and better than its current state. Increasing the duration means increasing the number of dots I guess. 4 dots at 1/5 5 dots at 2/5 6 dots at 3/5 7 dots at 4/5 8 dots at 5/5 Just throwing a suggestion out there!🤓🤓
  21. Hunters are Speed cannons. The sheer amount of dmg they can do is almost unreal. From lawning down mobs in dgs to killing the boss at dg or maps, they're a brilliant DPS unit. If you're looking towards pve, I'd suggest this build: Combat stance: 5/5 (gives a 15% dmg increase and 12% crit) Fatal shot: 5/5 ( Just pure dmg, high power low cooldown) Stun or dodge: 3/5 ( can help you run or walk through mobs slightly. This is based on your choice. Dodge is not very effective and reliable unless it reaches a high percentage like 40 or 50 but works amazingly well at high values. Hunter also has an expert skill to increase dodge.) Personally I've not seen many dodge hunters. Hunters excel with vamp or lifesteal Stat. FYI: The cooldown time of skills varies from character based on your Cooldown Stat - mine is 15% in the above screenshots. Expert skills: Now I'm not going to go through all the expert skills but only 2 which are almost compulsory for a speed hunter. Mountain instincts: 4/4 ( This is a mandatory skill to raise a speed hunter hunter.) Edit : This skill now gives 18% attack speed at 4/4 after the recent skill reworks. Hunter's Mark: 4/4 ( This is a stackable skill which means that each time you hit a monster, you reduce its defense by 5%. Maximum allowed stacks is 5 times. That means at total of 25% defence reduced from your target. Or You can also look at it as effectively increasing your penetration parameter by 25%) Try to maximize your speed when selecting gear, with crit and accuracy following. @HeredurianAdd away if I've excluded anything. 🤓 @Rosylyus I hope this helps you.   22. Hey. I was going through the warspear database and checking gear combinations for my hunter when I noticed these two rings. The stats are as follows: Spring stamina ring: Level 24: 298 base mdef: 50% hp increase. Spring fury ring: Level 24: 351 base mdef: 20% crit: 50 health regen: 15 energy regen. I have also seen level 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 versions of these rings in the ws database. And on the parameters row, it says "Quest". These stats are amazing but I've never seen these rings in game. Would appreciate any info on how to get these rings! I've attached screenshots for reference. Thank you very much! Looking forward to some info!
  23. Hello. I would like to suggest an edit to this. I ran a few tests and these were the results. Level: 1/4 MP: 18 units CD buff: 15% Duration: 12s (Ran the tests for 5 tries and all values were around 12s) Yard: 5y. Level 4/4 MP: 24 units. CD buff: 40% Duration: 25s Yard: 5y I hope it helps! 🤗
