Warden is one of the most underrated classes in all the game due to his low damage and its never ending nerfs (#BuffWD) but this dosnt mean you shouldn't be scared of them. So today im here to teach you how it works, how to build it and even how to play/counter play a warden. Lets get started.

2. Class Information

Lets start by looking at the class skills

3. Skills

The warden has a high variety of skill that allows them to play as tanks/damages/supports depending on the skill combinations they choose

4. PvE

In this section of the guide im going to show you a couple of skill builds you could use as a Warden to archieve different goals or fulfill different roles for your party or play style.

4.1 Tank Warden

This is the normal and traditional warden, the one that the game wanted us to use. your goal is to keep alive your party (and your self ofc) in a dungeon or a boss. the way we are going to achieve this goal is by getting the max amount of block.PNG.83495b226e51bb5dd84b74cbcd5d76c8.PNG BLOCK (max 25%) we can get and the max amount of parry.PNG.39465566429e36529937a544fae17eb5.PNG PARRY (max 30%), as well as getting the highest health.PNG.4a3c72f2f906ff33ee22392ff164694f.PNG Health Points as we can.

Spoiler

As we can see it this exaple we get a normal builded warden (no guild skills) with a high hp and defensive stats

this would be the armor set

equip.PNG.9cc3a10e85b9e1a1eee7d5311d39bdec.PNG1572119641_defstats.PNG.44617256e621fd175bf0af3db9131914.PNG2047461378_agrestat.PNG.463feeb9bda8dd659c72a0758402453b.PNG

Spoiler

amulet and rings (block hp) lvl 29 of sea dg

cloak, helmet, gloves and belt from craft (lvl 30 on the pics but u can get 32 if posible)

armor and boots from snow event craft (parry set)

double block shield from spring event

and finaly parry mace from horror event

(you can get any gear you want. this is just an example)

(no guild passives on the pics)

And the skill set would be this

592c4aaf22fd1_1.png.b7c6af2a51cd35a009048e4916f472c0.png.f3499b1f25b4f0ebb7f57dc3d2cb1ff9.png 3/5 or 5/5

879168149_agrobasic.png.8662c7aca0451b1328c3846d826908e0.png 5/5

150718307_wdspirit.png.74d51054db72ef3cd234554a7ba03b2c.png 3/5 or 5/5

forti.png.07dd2e79c197dff7b087cc2469616f15.png 3/4 or 4/4

block.png.48baa7b3cc914c106c331bb1898e6314.png 4/4

fury.png.17098e36636a6081fd6cbcfbd7674454.png 3/4 or 4/4

powlung.png.29965623013b89b48672d6cc08c82f04.png 1/4 or 3/4 (if forti, aggro and steal pow reduced)

stealpow.png.83682aaffb886c38e6293b7d8aa53178.png 1/4 or 3/4 (if forti, aggro and power loung reduced)

This build consist of "tanking everything for your party" by basicaly spaming your aggession and deal some damage to keep all mobs/bosses on you

(same as gear. this is juts an example, you can get the skill build you want)

Your main goal right here its to not let anyone die (even your self!)

4.2 Speed Warden

Now here is where the fun beggin. As you saw before (if u readed the skill part of this post) you will see a very interesting skill (you know what im talking about) a single skill that makes this build even posible. Yes! its the stealpow.png.83682aaffb886c38e6293b7d8aa53178.png Stealing Power skill!. as you read before (pls do if you didnt this took a lot of time :Penguin7:) this skill gives to the warden an amazing 60% Attack Strenght (more than a seeker!) and in this section im going to show you a couple of builds to make this boring class very fun!

Spoiler

Lets say you are poor and you cant afford the best gear in the game (like me :Penguin8:) and you might be thinking "speed gear? that must be expensive lol" well yes it might be (lul), but you can still get away with it with some cheap gear to make this class more fun to play as in quests, hunting or as a solo player

 gear.PNG.2abbbcc3dc2cb191981bf739a9925c7d.PNG1204096765_statagr.PNG.c9f054cf27574fbe05f2f90a0da48726.PNG1935032737_statdef.PNG.36fe58497b2c4e640a0aa6c15a3a8ced.PNG

Spoiler

speed cloak and amulet from horror event (life steal runes)

full set lvl 30 (or lvl 28, or maybe even life steal set from horror if you have extra money) from sea

speed cd belt (mana solidity ench), rage accuracy rings (pene ench), pierce accu sword (dmg reflection) from snow

spring normal shield (accu ench) from spring

(no guild passives on the pics)

But now lets say you aren't as poor as me, and you can afford a little bit of Mermen Gear ( very rich yes:Penguin5:), you can get all of the previously show stats upgraded (some by a lot and some by a little bit #BuffWD)

Set 1 1023176037_mmspeed.PNG.c9d91d89700da909c0fbb46d5778e56f.PNG1784294935_mmstatagr.PNG.78dc7e9cd823bfc420ccc945640b2570.PNG287789580_mmstatdef.PNG.e18626c89f5baa64a5702660e7aad834.PNG

Spoiler

two hannded sword from spring event (lvl 30 on the pic)

speed cloak and amulet from horror (Life steal runes; amulet can be changed for spring speed)

accuracy rage rings from snow (penetration ench; can be changed for spring accu ones)

speed pene belt lvl 29 from sea chests

fatal retribution boots (accu ench) and helm (speed ench) from mermen

armor and gloves crit set from nadir  (speed ench)

Set 2 1203723725_mmspeedrage.PNG.12b98871c5e47e2e91c87060235ba075.PNG1048481195_mmspeedragestat.PNG.35ed8e0272941af71dd2a06e3ea4a158.PNG

Spoiler

two hannded sword from spring event (lvl 30 on the pic)

speed cloak and amulet from horror (Life steal runes; amulet can be changed for spring speed)

accuracy rage rings from snow (penetration ench; can be changed for spring accu ones)

speed pene belt lvl 29 from sea chests

time distortion gloves (accu ench) and helm (speed ench) from mermen

boots and armor from birthday event or snow (speed ench)

And the skill build would be a little like this (for both sets)

592c4aaf22fd1_1.png.b7c6af2a51cd35a009048e4916f472c0.png.f3499b1f25b4f0ebb7f57dc3d2cb1ff9.png 5/5

150718307_wdspirit.png.74d51054db72ef3cd234554a7ba03b2c.png 3/5 or 5/5

punish.png.39f9f54655e3e4a2706ab47131a8ffe5.png 3/5 or 5/5

stealpow.png.83682aaffb886c38e6293b7d8aa53178.png 4/4

powlung.png.29965623013b89b48672d6cc08c82f04.png 4/4

forti.png.07dd2e79c197dff7b087cc2469616f15.png shieldthrow.png.2c59cae48284dea395b46fb33615c6d7.png resist.png.bdca3c4295350b0b60369a2e53b64834.png Any of this at the level you'd like (if you use forti you might need mana ench on rings; shield throw slows down your next auto; resist is good to avoid getting stuned and stoping you from hitting).

This build(s) consist of "forget the old warden and become a seeker", before your survivability was high becouse of the high def and hp, well, now its reduced by a 60% in exchange of 200% more damage. Your main damage sourse would be your basic atacks (like a normal dd class) and a little bit of skills (if you have the mana to spare).

(same as in pve tank section, you can choose the skills and the gear you want!).

Your goal here its to do a lot of damage and have fun :Penguin1: (note that you wont be better than a ranger or a seeker, if you want a pure dmg class make one of em and not a warden lol)

5. PvP

(im making this section becouse i've seen many wardens (at least on eu) not doing the PvP aspect of the game (maybe becouse the bad skill kit wds have for pvp or maybe becouse the never ending nerfs)

5.1 PvP Tank

This section its gonna be very similar as the "PvE normal Tank" section of this guide but with the difference that now you are useing resilience ferocity and of course you will be fighting players (which they have a lot of skills movements and they not just an auto minion like mobs)

Spoiler

The "PvP Tank" warden uses the same mind set as a "Barbarian", you kinda rush at the enemy forcing them to use a high amount or resourses (skills) on you and winning the arena by annoying the enemy´s dds.

Spoiler

I didn't add heavy mermen into the mix just becouse its too broken and any piece of it works just fine (#NerfHeavyMM)

879168149_agrobasic.png.8662c7aca0451b1328c3846d826908e0.png 5/5

stun.png.858b81efd71c9211a4a59e844526a6f3.png 5/5

150718307_wdspirit.png.74d51054db72ef3cd234554a7ba03b2c.png 1/5 or 3/5

punish.png.39f9f54655e3e4a2706ab47131a8ffe5.png 1/5 or 3/5 (or do punishment 5/5 and play with dodge!)

forti.png.07dd2e79c197dff7b087cc2469616f15.png 3/4

block.png.48baa7b3cc914c106c331bb1898e6314.png 4/4

shieldthrow.png.2c59cae48284dea395b46fb33615c6d7.png 1/4 or 2/4 (3 with talents skill point)

resist.png.bdca3c4295350b0b60369a2e53b64834.png 1/4 or 2/4 (3 with talents skill point)

stealpow.png.83682aaffb886c38e6293b7d8aa53178.png 4/4

I personaly choosed 5/5 aggesssion just to sustain your hp and stay alive as long as possible which it makes a good combo with Fortification and Block Master. also shocking blow 5/5 and Stealing power 4/4 becouse you can stun an enemy with shocking (5 secs or 6 with talents upgraded) and deal a lot of damage with Stealing power in that tiny matter of time.

i dont max shield throw just becouse, even tho its a 70% chance stun at 4/4 sometime it dosnt feels like it and natural resistance its very good but only at the bigging of the fight.

Your goal as this type of warden is to annoy the enemy´s dds (forcing them to use stuns, fears, etc) wile doing damage to them, and kinda win the arena by forcing multiple PJS to focus you, giving your party members to acomplish their role without worring about being killed.

5.1 Support Tank

I though of this type of play style a lot but it dosnt seems very convincing since there are many better supports in the game (palas druids, etc).

Its the same as the "PvP Tank" previously mentioned before but this time with a slightly change of skill

Spoiler

Could be PvE or PvP i guess

879168149_agrobasic.png.8662c7aca0451b1328c3846d826908e0.png 3/5

150718307_wdspirit.png.74d51054db72ef3cd234554a7ba03b2c.png 5/5

stun.png.858b81efd71c9211a4a59e844526a6f3.png 5/5

fury.png.17098e36636a6081fd6cbcfbd7674454.png 1/4 (or 2/4 with upgraded talents)

block.png.48baa7b3cc914c106c331bb1898e6314.png 4/4

guardprot.png.a6cf04855aa2735b0d936c5a707c21c1.png 4/4

stealpow.png.83682aaffb886c38e6293b7d8aa53178.png 4/4

This build seems kinda useless becouse palas exist but who knows.... ill just leave it here

Your role as this type is to protect your dds/healers from anyone who comes to annoy them

I guess thats it :Penguin5:

Thank you for reading this and #BuffWD ty :Penguin2:
