Combat rating has to do with how many matches you have currently lost or won. If you win alot and you rating has 100 wins and 0 loses and you get matched with people with many loses, you will get low amount of arena points. If you meet one with many wins, you get more arena points vise versa

Too many blade dancers exist, everyone would suggest you to make one. As far as Rogue, became very strong with blade dancer, even if there was claimed counter attack skill would be nerfed (actually is same). So, both are strong but mostly used. Warlock is good also paladin as magic damager.
