Very rich players can manage to get money and signs solo, but i don't think anybody did so in high lvl guild bcs if u sum up everything the whole costs smth like 10millions+about same to buy signs. Even if u are one of the rare ones with like 5million gold in ur bag that would be hardly affordable for u.

    LvL 2 u can do alone: if ur patient u can do enough GP alone, just bring ur secondary chars in, and as for gold u need 80k and 60 signs After u need: -People to make GP -A LOOOOT of money and signs Usually good guilds are builded by several active players. It's impossible to do enough GP alone, and most of the time u need help to gather gold, or u need to be biggest mcoiner in the game (Hassn for AoA for instance) I'll try to find the link about guild lvl up requirements. I found somewhere all the informations about money, signs and GP needed.
  3. soo... long question Let's start with basic skills: If u want max dmg go 5 fireball 5 time warp 3 stones. But i really suggest to make 5stones bcs best mage skill, good stun. If u want to do dgs go 5 stones 3 chains (both usefull to progress fast and to prevent ennemies from attacking u), then 5 time warp if u want max AoE (the main reason why mages are liked in dgs) or 5 sun armor if u want good def. or mix both. My personnal build: 5 stones 5 time warp 3 chains Then for expert skills: if u want PvE only, all are good, just take blinding fire and ennoblement last (ennoblement is excellent for arena, but for PvE not so usefull, only few mobs and bosses have skills or poison) Take blazing ground and frozen bolt first. nice cooldown, good at 1/4, blazing ground got AoE Then there are three skills worth putting points in: Dragon Eye, Ethereal Barrier and Overload (some disagree with that one, but if im not mistaken it has got 24% chance to work at 4/4, and im sure it's 12 or 24, even 12 not bad) 1)Dragon Eye: increases ur accuracy to 50% for 10/12/14/16s depending on skill lvl. increases ur attack speed by 10/15/20/25% i think? (not sure) for same duration. AND restore mana for every attack!! very nice for dgs so really great agains mobs who dodge way too much. Especially if u manage to get a lot of cooldown (at least 20%) with Eye 4/4: u can stay almost all time with 50% accuracy and never lack of mana (and some speed too, can be usefull to statistically unleash overload DoT more often). That means u can completely change ur gears: -critical on amulet (except for healers i usually think accuracy is better for PvE) and penetration on rings: u never need accuracy any more -Penetration on rings and critical on belt (u rarely lack of mana, i think if u mana rege on cloack it's enough) For instance: cooldown staff, hood and shoes, with CD enchant on shoes and hood,+skyfighter belt (belt with cooldown, pene, magic: best belt for farming mage) with that stuff take cape with mana rege, enchant ring and gloves with pene, belt with crit, and there u go. This way u can get 50% accuracy all time, ~30% CD (5staff+(5+5)hood+(5+5)shoes+5belt), 20% penetration (5staff+(2.5+2.5)gloves+2.5amulet+2*2.5rings+2.5belt), with enough mana rege and a lot of critical. Just add rage on armor and life stealth on rings, amulet and cloak, and u got the ultimate PvE mage! 2)Ethereal barrier: block one ennemy attack every 7/5/3 standard attacks done or skills used. Reduces really much the dmg received in PvE, really good in dgs where mages take a lot of dmg. Excellent VS high dmg bosses Dragon Eye attack speed can be usefull to activate it more often 3)Overload: every attack/skill use has a chance to deal magic DoT to the ennemy. That skill is very very bad known. Even on russian forum i didn't found a lot about it. What i think i know is: -tick dmg or/and? tick number increases with skill lvl -cannot be activated twice on a single target -chance to activate by attack/skill was 3/6/9/12%, which is really few, but devs sayed it doubled: 6/12/18/24 which is quite good. if u got DEye that gives u attack speed+some cooldown it is excellent: activates quite often, and with AoE skills it's quite like an AoE DoT, and it doesn't cost mana. For what i've seen in videos dmg is about same as Blazing Ground (even 1/4), but u can't escape by moving like ground and with good build can activate at least as often. Personnaly i think i will try it (when i'll be able to...), looks quite like a skill with great potential, with real difference between 1 and 4/4 For combos... In PvE there's not "combos" like in arena, just good builds. U just need to get enough mana rege, penetration, critical, and a lot of cooldown with DEye or a lot of accuracy. get also Life steal if u are rich Good luck bro, don't mind to ask more, i think there's a lot to make clear about mages, i love this char, but those thread are often dead and uncomplete. At least that's what i personnaly think. PS: for those who ask, Alianfarm confirmed that ennoblement duration is at least 7s at lvl 4/4, so u really can cast in arena (dragon eye-2 sec-ennoblement) --buff 50% accuracy and immunity-- fireball-blazing groung-time warp-stones-frozen bolt-chains-fireball-blinding fire --end buff-- 2 sec between expert skills, 10 sec min dragon eye, 7sec ennoblement, so timing is ok u can spam all ur skill + one extra fireball + several standrad attack bcs of DEye attack speed + Overload DoT with some luck. u are immune to poison and stun, ethereal barrier activates a lot bcs u attack fast so u should survive if an ennemy attacks u, and u end with chains and a small blind, that can be usefull to run away if u didn't manage to kill ur ennemis... bcs u are defenseless after that XD.   6. Yes yes i know, but atm i can't afford to have two sets of gears, and as i like arena i just go full arena set. As long as i do swamps i don't care to take 20-30% more dmg from mobs bcs resi. For a lvl 23 druid there's no problem. Only those high crit where annoying, and i couldn't choose between resi runes or def runes. Now that i know resi as not only drawbacks in pve im going to go full resi (even low amped druid is fun in arena if full resi bcs it's hard to kill. for solidity well... i don't like it, i prefer use HP on belt (or resi if arena) to have as much HP as possible as bcs im druid. For cloak idk. Does parry work for casters? or need melee weapon?

Yes i know resi is bad for pve, i just have a weird way to play: im late on all amp so can't do dg, and to lazy to do chainless, so farm swamp everyday with druid to up mage to go dg i can heal fast enough vs all mobs no matter my def, only **** is when i take a critical hit from breath catchers yes yes ik it's weird...

  14. Banner is OP, pala is not. to go 1K banner pala has to go full magic and banner skill. Thus when u used banner what u got? a character with less dmg than healers, and less heal. Pala is special character, not OP. As for druid, they only got 3 stun: entangling roots, song and power of water+lightning combo. U can still use skills when poisonning roots. it's quite like earthquake. Moreover u only got 70% chances of success with song 4/4, and to up power of water is useless. Now for heal: link is very good i agree. but healing banner is useless at 1/4. i don't know about invigorating stream but apparently it heals very few hp at 1/4. So what: u want OP heal u go 4/4 healing barrier and the rest as u want in link and stream. then u have one of the class with fewest dmg in the game, with few stun. if u want OP stun u go 4/4 song and power of water. OK u still have link 1/4 it's good (at least for u, to heal tank it's not that much efficient) but u don't have that much heal anyway. a necro can easily have at least same efficiency for stun, with same efficiency in healing (especially with some cooldown). So what? u go some mix with 3/4 song 3/4 link and 3/4 stream or barrier (by the way just a tip: i don't think it's good to make barrier 3/4. make it 4/4 or leave it 0/4) then u got good built, heal is very good but compare to shaman with healing totem. shaman heal a little less but AoE heal. and then u got songVSfiretotem. balanced i think Druid is good but i don't think it is OP. I know i play druid, so ur gonna say "blablabla just defending his main character" Druid is potentially the best healer in WS. OK. but u can't build stun and heal at max and dmg is the lowest of WS
  15. i think it's pretty balanced. Warlock are indeed made to be the strongest pvp char. at least 1v1. but they suck in all other ways. Mage are good for dg and war, but weak and bad at pvp (i didn't say arena 3v3 or 5v5) And the fact that there are OP mages just comes from the fun u have with mages. In US Saphirre there is several mages with full arena rewards and +9/+10 staff (Skynete, Kesler, Airzone,...) but if any other class as same equip they usually lose in pvp. i agree with asisfsy: really great balance atm: Pala is very fun bcs good mix tank heal and OP dmg for 10s. But hard to get good mix, has to sacrifiate to get magic,... DK OP defences and stun, but soo long to play bcs low dmg Mage OP AoE and fun, but weak and bad pvp Lock OP stun (especially with the available skill colldown today and new skills) but bad except in pvp etc. Except perhaps a little for BD, game is well balanced and i think BD is ok like this, bcs even if strong, it is quite "standard". Nothing really special, so it's nice it is good char. Barb and mage used to be bad, but i think new resist skill was just exactly wat was needed to rebalance them
  16. Yes warlock is hard to up. I think only mage is harder to up. Rogues are far from bad, absolute reflexes was OP skill and now they are balanced. But if u want a "dmg" class, rogue is certainly better than lock i think. Warlock is the ultimate pvp class before beeing dmger. PS: don't worry to write bullshit, u won't be the first one
  17. Well i think it's quite balanced. DK are meant to be the ultimate tanks, but they don't have BD's dmg or pala's support abilities. And if u want a dk with full tank and stun u gonna have few dmg it can be not fun at all. DK still can be easily killed by healers in pvp. it's a little like warlocks: best pvp class but weak, no support, low dmg,... DK: OP pvp vs anything but healers, but few dmg, and i agree in pve if ur alone and reserves are activated there is a lot of chances u can get killed very fast.
  18. Some relics have OP bonuses. And they stay with ur char while if u want put money on gears can be bad if u want lvl up. (i agree most of them are quite useless) Especially empowering ones: inacessibility relic: lol those ranger powerfull shot+blessing bonus from 6-7 yards menace: very usefull for tanks relic 20% chance of self healing (don't remember relic name): very usefull for necro to counter life exhaust, etc there are many other good relics: salutary healing, penetration, indomitable blow, etc and for the mcoin relics, they can be good if they match ur build: -for instance i made a full dodge mage lvl 18 bcs not rich enough for life steal. when dodge relic activated (+8%) i got 27% dodge for 15s. imagine on ranger or rogue with dodge build -block or parry relic on persuation can be good for tank too -dmg relic for stealth or def decrease on gouge can lead to OP dmg on rogue if activate. especially combinated with empowering relic like penetration or skill dmg. but i agree that unless u can get them quite cheap, except for some empowering relics it's far from beeing a priority.

  20. np man ur welcome Im not mcoiner nor rich bcs i play rarely, so i know how cool is it to knwo how skills work, if u do not want to waste many 40k for skills books and oblivion books XD I think dev should make a web page with all expert skills and full description (if possible more than what u can read when buying books xd) If there is already one can someone tell me?
  21. i think u got the best combo. But my ranger only 14 atm so i never tried the expert combos even if i started to thought about it. Especially if u got a bow this is very good. For my ranger i got smth really fun, bcs i got lucky enough to buy a great relic of innacessibility quite cheap. ==>for all classes i can use powerful shot from 7 yards then normal attack, both with blessing before they can stun me XD. i think it is possible to do the same with powerful shot-fire arrow-normal shot with blessing before the opponent reaches 4yards (u can use fire arrow and deal normal shot at the same time at 5 yards i think). Especially if u high amped that's a LOT of dmg, often enough to rape ur ennemy. And that is much more fun than building a stun ranger, in arena u can also stay behind and do more dmg than if u got stun build, and in random also nice to have more dmg. and the funnier is this: with rogues i can shoot them from seven yards so many times they are surprised that i can attack them from that range so they didn't stealthed yet XD imagine rogue in long range fight without stealth lol. and when u got 18 if rogue jumps yes u still can use scatter and trap, and fire arrow to prevent im from using gouge.
  22. i think if u are 5/5 scatter 5/5 blessing with 3/5 trap and 4/4 cage bow better, bcs u can hold the ennemy quite long to use ur speed quite well. If not i think xbow really better, especially when u got several dmg expert skills, and 5/5 blessing, bcs then u do more dmg with skills and also more dmg with the blessing's shots so u can rape ur ennemy fast just by spamming skills. bow is hard bcs need to have stun build, but notice that with dmg accessory u notice less the dmg difference between both weapons so bow can be excellent. Personnaly i prefer arbalest bcs with 5/5 blessing and powerful shot it's si fun to double shot smbdy by doing Powerful shot+blessing additionnal shot+normal shot+blessing additionnal shot with a few crit XD (do not have expert skills atm, but add fire shot and hail of arrows XD). Especially in arena when u can focus shots with ur mate.
