You must use spheres as well as signs. For example, if I wanted to amp my lv13 light boilersuit using a sign I would first need to acquire a [sphere of Defence Enhancement II] as well as a [sign of Imperishability].. Then select sphere from inventory and click "use" then select which piece of armor, then the next prompt will give you three options for "Item spoiling insurance". This is where you may select "Use sign of Imperishability", then you can click "Amplify". Good luck!

Eagerly awaiting some reply to this. Made about 20 kills on the unnamed muppet. My only guess with blackjack and other aa boss lately is that their drops must be so damn epic that the rates are winning lottery ticket high, or, that there is some unknown method (class combination in pt, formation, number of animated armor killed by pt during the fight, number of bars in inventory... et cetera) to trigger drop chance. So curious, please devs, throw us a bone.
