Id recommend starting with "secret of evermore" or "terranigma"... epic titles.

hell yeeea i hate idiots playin games for graphics. im #1 mario bros and nintendo fan, #1 pro pacman and tetris player, and it makes me sick to hear idiots who think they are pro gamers but they dont even know what the duck zelda means talking about graphics. i mean they are shiiiiit,  they think they are so pro cuz they have the last aviable console, and they play games with cheats at dificulty easy and they dont even complete them cuz they get bored after one week and they want the new console launched cuz it has better graphics and cuz all their dumb friends also want it, but u give him a f u k i n pacman and they loose at lvl 1 against unarmed ghosts with lag. huh huh :cray:

High Graphics is overrated. Its seems that the better graphics a game has the lesser gameplay it has. ( save from a few smart developers who realise that gameplay is important )

 

If i had to choose between a super nintendo and a playstation 3, id go snes without hesitation.

Actually many people know about mario and zelda (some people mistake link for zelda but they know the game). Besides that I agree with you.

Gaming culture went mainstream. However most people are too dumb to get them. Struggling at puzzles, not being able to aim, worst kind of players you can imagine. Also term "gamer". Most of people who think they are "gamers" are shit. They know maybe 10 titles, play and buy AAA games at launch, they are the sole reason gaming industry is shit.

Is piracy a bad thing? No. It's a beatiful thing - download the game, finish it, if you liked it, you buy it as a "thank you" for devs, and gift the copy to friend so he can enjoy it too. If you are poor, and can't afford the games, you can still enjoy them, and devs wouldn't get money from you anyway, you could send them a "Thank You" letter, that would make them happy. But some people though "FREE GAEMS? YEP, FREE GAEMS", and piracy is hated.

 

What do you guys think of my favorite up-to date game, Sengoku Rance? It's combination of VN and Strategy, like Heroes 3 with tits. I came for tits, I stayed for Heroes 3. I recommend it, IF YOU ARE 18+ OBVIOUSLY. Most people look at it and say "uggh, gross!". However it's fun as hell, I finished it 4 times.

I don't give a duck about gaming graphics, what really matters is the gameplay experience and the storyline. Take star wars KOTOR as an example, it was released 10 YEARS ago on the original xbox. But believe me, it was one of the best star wars games ive ever played in my entire life, and they have finally released it st the apple store now for $9.99. (Yes ill buy at shit immediately)

Ever since Call Of Duty 4 was released, the series has had the same style of gameplay and the graphics are maybe 10% better. The core gameplay mechanics remain the same as before.

 

 

2. The community. The people that play this game are usually in their early teens, who care about their kill/death ratio more then their grades in school, and insist on insulting another player's mother with several "*bleep*s" thrown in for good measure every 5 seconds.

Main difference between two is on what they focus. Minecraft lets you build amazing 3D constructions, while Terraria is more like action-adventure RPG. Both tried their best in others domain, both didn't really manage to do it. You want autism, go to Minecraft. You want adventure, go to Terraria.
