  2. Yes its a new adaptation. The Bards voice played by Cary Elwes: Main guy from Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights, etc. It includes the original Bards Tale as well. If you like RPGs that make fun of RPGs you'll love it.

  4. Not a bad idea. In addition allow parry to work on all ranged attacks anyway. Melees need a boost in general. That would be a small help.
  5. And my point is there's plenty of ways to avoid gouge from a stealthed rogue. Not limited to walking the other way for 15 seconds. This game is checkers not chess.

It seems extra hard for you here. 60% of the time it works every time. :wacko: Traps being spammable is a problem but only when you're dealing with an area that you're forced into a bottleneck. Otherwise just cancel stealth from a distance wait 8 sec and then try another angle.
  8. Not exactly true. 1. Rangers can spam trap now. Too few pay attention to that skill. 2. Once visible rogues are the only class without range and easily kited as a result. 3. Only 4 classes don't have a method of popping rogues out of stealth. But yeah against druids? I'm guessing those rogues didn't play well

    Did rogues who are 5 stealth and gouge get nerfed? Yes. They were trying to eliminate the combo stealth>merc>gouge>stealth. Is it really that bad? No. Drop gouge to 2, and maybe stealth to 4. Get higher dodge and kick and you'll easily survive the 15 seconds needed to gouge and stealth again. Unless of course its a ranged class you're fighting......but we've always been underpowered versus ranged classes. The good news is this probably means our upcoming specializations will be awesome. :dirol:

    I'll try to include you in the timing :P Kaw I forgot the swinger will need a static crit stat as well, because if resilience's "avoidance of criticals" forces a dodge (which would be idiotic ahem see my explanation below) it will be based on the crit stat. Why would this be confusing from a programming standpoint? Because in basic language the game has already checked for a dodge. Typically it goes like this: Attack->Check first 1. Hit or 2. Dodge If 2. Then Dodge if 1. Then next check: 1. Hit or 2. Parry If 2. Then parry If 1. Then next check: 1. Normal hit or 2. Critical hit If 1. Then normal hit If 2. The next check: 1. Avoid or 2. Do not avoid. If 2. Then critical hit. If 1 then dodge If this is the case then the game would actually be penalizing high critical setups. It might actually be a net damage increase to drop crit completely from your build when facing high resilience which makes little to no sense practically. Instead it should change that last result to "normal hit" instead of dodge. We shall see tho. You good for tomorrow kaw? ;D

    Awesome. The swinger just needs a static accuracy below the test dummys dodge stat . The test dummy needs to have two sets one with zero resilience and another with high resilience. Dodge stat must be the same for both sets. I'm busy this weekend I'll pm you in forum to setup a time.

    Flu you're the guy who thinks resilience makes you dodge instead of your dodge stat. :wacko: Kick is epic against all melees and high accuracy rangers. If you test it don't do dodge 5 kick 5. That's not a PvP spec.

    Epic stats. Hmmm has to be dual doom rondels and kw full+graceful baldric+carved rings with accuracy crystal on neck and speed on gloves? Crit enchanted of course. Was I close? ;D

    Meh I'm not so sure. I think it depends on the opponent. I crush melees in my kw set but get blown up by rangers and casters. It's flipped in my full resilience set. Not to mention it depends on what your opponent is wearing. Bottom line though I wouldn't go below 10% resilience in either set.

    Flu you keep saying this. But no way does resilience make you dodge more. I'm sorry bro. Ill believe that when you run a 1000 swing test against a static opponent (it takes a 1000 swings to be statistically significant). With 29% dodge you should be dodging 2-4 times a fight.

  19. Here's the over view you're looking for friend: Basically each faction (Elf, Chosen, Mountain Clan, and Forsaken) each have their first island. These factions then team up against each other on the second island Islenort (MC+Forsaken vs. Chosen+Elf). The reason you're seeing difficulties in money and finding people to help you kill bosses is because you're still on the elf first island. This should be your goal for the first island: Spend zero coin. Don't buy anything, use only quest gear until you reach the second island. This is tough to do, but you'll be happy you have money to spend on the second island. Group up for bosses. Usually if you ask Trade chat if anyone is on first island doing bosses, you can find some help for the red crowned bosses that you can't beat. Get through those regular quests as fast as you can. Don't worry about arena until you're level 10 or until you're in the 13-14 level bracket. Feel free to do it for fun until then. Check on the druid boards for a good skill selection for whatever it is you plan to use your druid for in end game. If it's PVP I know you want a high root skill. Come back to this thread as you get more questions, we'll help you out. Good luck.
  20. :( So true. Half the army left early. Then the other half didn't turn and fight when the rear guard was overtaken. It's a simple concept. Too difficult to grasp for some. Listen to the raid leader.

    I'm postive. Done lots of testing on it. Kick 1 only last for 1 attack, 2 for 2 attacks, 3 for 3 attacks etc. There is a max time limit so if you kick then get gouged or sleep it will wear off. Opponent accuracy is always zero. Miocco the developer is the source of info for the dodge being cut by accuracy so I'm sure that's right.

    Well I'm 100% sure accuracy cuts your dodge. Most good opponents have around 18% accuracy. So even if you have 30% dodge, you might only dodge at 12% depending on your opponents accuracy. I'm pretty sure parry gets checked first by the game but not 100% sure. Remember parry only works on melee. Dodge works on everyone (Magic and arrows as well as melee). Edit: this is also why I run with Kick in the back 3. Kick makes your opponents accuracy zero for a number of attacks based on the skill level. I have 35% dodge. When I face good bds with high accuracy I can kick to make sure I get a better chance to dodge. When I use kick I know their next 3 attacks my dodge rate will be 35% instead of 35%-18%.
