1EzA 0
Hi, Dual Wield Specialization Type: Passive Allows to wield two one-handed weapons. Decreases the damage done by your offhand weapon by 50%. It says that equipping two pieces of one-handed weapon will decrease the left-hand (offhand) weapons attack power by 50%. However, I'm thinking that if I equip a dagger type weapon in the left-hand, the skill won't affect the daggers attack power. And as my conclusion, sword on right, dagger on left combination will produce more damage than 2 swords. What do you think?
Reckful 0
dagger type weapons its - offhand weapon too.. so 120(sword) + 110(dagger) in result will be like = 120 + 55 if 120(sw)+120(sw) in result = 120+60 and etc
1EzA 0
:good: Oh, I see, I just might been confused. When the skill says two one-handed weapons, it is referring to both sword and dagger types. Now I get it, so wether its dagger or sword, it is still considered as one-handed, because rogues cannot equip 2 2H swords. Off topic here: Why I asked this is because I'm having a hard time what to pick for Arena weapons. Acute Flamberge = accuracy Acute Falchion = parry Acute Rondel = speed I really doubt the promise of Flamberge to give accuracy cause I'm seeing Flamberge users that miss. On Falchions, I don't like the look of those long thin blue swords but their parry seems to show its effect much. Rondels are fast, the hourglass of 1.7 secs and the bonus of 2% attack speed is one of my considerations. I plan on Flamberge on right, Rondel on left. I choose Rondel thinking that it will cancel the Dual Wield effect and Rondel will retain the 100% of its attack power while still having the speed. Please post your opinions on the three arena rogue swords. Thanks.
Odin 1
Here's the formula for weapon swing speed: One hand: (weapon speed-attack speed)/1.34 Two handed: (weapon speed- attack speed)+(weapon speed- attack speed) /1.34 So assuming 10% attack speed and swords (2.0 speed): (2000-100+2000-100)/1.34 = 2835 or 2.835 second swing speed. Notice that adding 10% more attack speed has only a tiny impact: (2000-200+2000-200)1.34=2686 or 2.686 second swing speed. So speed is useless as a stat. The only real way to increase you speed is to use daggers. Unless you can amp your daggers to high levels this isn't a good choice. So that leaves acc or parry. Id say that depends on your other gear. I prefer accuracy. Rogues are designed for surprise hits but lower survival ability. Best to make those hits count. 1EzA 0
Thanks Odin for the computations. :clapping: Finally made my decision, I'll go back to my old choice, Flamberges. Please don't fail me little orange swords. :yahoo:
slay 2
Agree, 2 x flamberges the best set for any rogue as Odin said

gradex 0
Just tested how much hit u do (normal hits without skill) in 30sec. with swords and daggers: 2x daggers = 15 hits in 30sec. 1x sword + 1x dagger = 14hits in 30sec. 2x swords = 13hits in 30sec.
