My name is [Venk/Ancientone]. I'm a longtime Warspear player (Started back in 2015) I chose Shaman class when I was introduced to the game by one of my friend [xwolvesx], Ever since then I have mostly played Shaman and currently it is my main class. The goal for this Guide is to help myself reflect on what I have learned and discover what more I need to learn moving forward, While at the same time extending my knowledge to those who seek to truly Master the Class. DESCRIPTION Spoiler Shaman is an excellent support class and if not the most one of the best support class in the game. Shaman is also a very versatile class. The main role of shaman is to stand behind of Tank, DPS class and Buff/Heal/Protect them while they take damage and destroy enemies. Apart from support, Shaman also does good Crowd Control thanks to its skill Earthquake. In the version 10.3, Shaman can be played in quite a different playstyles. One can go for a standard shaman build of healing and support but with recent changes shamans can go further beyond and completely change the way we look at this class. A shaman can be a Healer, Damage Dealer and also a Buffing/ Enchanter Class. Because of variety of diverse skills, It gives possibility for a shaman to be played in a number of different ways. We will discuss more in depth as we dive deep into this Guide. We will touch the Basics as well as Advanced topics not just related to the class but also in general so make sure to give it a read. Attack: 2.2/5 Defence: 2/5 Utility: 4/5 Pros: Spoiler + Versatility (by having Healing/Damage/Defence/Buffing/Debuffing skills) + Shaman has alot of buffing potential because of their kit + Decent Crowd Control and Area of Effect skills + Can solo PvE elements in the end game ( T3, T4 Ayvondil quests, 80k, 200k, Baits, Astral lab, etc) if solo play is your thing. + Good at Kiting in PvP Cons: Spoiler - Sometimes struggles in PvP scenarios against certain classes with equal amps - Lack of mobility - As a shaman needs to be constantly on the move - Be very careful against these classes in PvP (Bladedancer, Seeker, Ranger, Hunter, Rogue, Mage, Chieftain, druid, charmer, Beastmaster, Warlock) - Sometimes Earthquake upon cast, It can be missed on target SKILLS Spoiler Faction skill Mountain Power (Passive): Increases maximum health by 4%, and physical and magical strength by 2% for all characters of the selected faction. Please Note: I have updated the skills values and info but if something you think is incorrect feel free to cross check in the "Game update changes menu" Basic Skills: Spoiler Ball Lightning Spoiler An attack that deals Magical damage. Healing Spirit Spoiler Deals the "Spirit of healing" buff to a character or ally for 15 sec. The effect restores health every 3 seconds. Type: Active Usage range: 5 yards Energy expense: 18 | 20 | 22 | 24 | 26 Cooldown: 15 sec. Amount of health restores in units: 06 | 11 | 16 | 21 | 26 Amount of health restores by Character's Magical power %: 110% | 115% | 120% | 125% | 130% Fun Fact: Spoiler With 200% CD(max cd %) I was able to apply 2x healing stacks contineously Earth Protection Spoiler Deals the "Earth protection" buff to a character or a member of the group for sometime. The effect increases the physical and magical protection by some percentage. Type: Active Range: 5 Yards Energy cost: 20 | 22 | 24 | 26 | 28 Cooldown: 20 Seconds Duration of effect: 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 - 60 seconds Increase in defence % : 15% | 20% | 30% | 40% | 50% Additional Notes: Spoiler Earth Protection is the main defensive skill for shaman, The more defense you have the more will be the increase in defense from the skill. The defense is increased by 50% at level 5/5 and with Talent tree upgrade additional 5% so a total of 55% defense increase can be achieved. The Increase in defense is very low at 1/5 also the duration. But it is not required to max the skill, You can also opt for 3/5 or 4/5 which is also very decent. Extra Info: Spoiler At 5/5 Earth Protection you can apply the shield on all the party members, with the Relic of Contineous effect you can further increases your skill duration by additional 40% which is 1:24 seconds. Lightning Blast Spoiler Deals the "Lightning Blast" debuff to the enemy for some seconds. The effect makes enemy move around the battlefield chaotically, prohibits attacking and using skills. Type: Active Range: 5 Yards Energy cost: 19 | 20 | 21 | 22 | 23 Cooldown: 15 Seconds Duration: 1 | 1.9 | 2.8 | 3.7 | 4.6 Dodge The skill cannot be dodged Parry The skill cannot be parried Block The skill cannot be blocked Resistance The skill can be resisted Critical Hit The skill cannot deal critical strike Stun The skill cannot stun the target Additional Info: Spoiler The main stun ability of the class, highly recommended to level up this skill to 5/5 for the insanely good PvP experience and also in general because stun is very much needed in any type of scenario, Even though the skill is resisted most of the times in PvP because of the attribute "Resistance" but it still works like a charm. Bonus Tip: Spoiler You can keep Lightning Blast at 1/5 and with relic "Terrible relic of secret theft" this skill is a game changer in PvE. Since Lightning blast is resisted by almost all the bosses in the game (who's HP is above 80k usually) and sometimes by mini bosses (who's HP is above 5k but below 80k) this relic will provide additional 15% "Lifesteal" aka "Vampirism" bonus for 15 seconds when they resist the skill. Even though you are a healing class "Lifesteal" is one of those very useful parameter which will convert your damage into healing it will help you recover health more quicker when your hp is very low so it is always good to have. Earthquake Spoiler An attack that deals magical damage in the specified area to all opponents and deals the "Earthquake" effect to them for some seconds. The effect holds target in place and reduces the "Attack speed" parameter. Type: Active Range: 5 Yards Energy cost: 14 | 15 | 16 | 17 | 18 Cooldown: 15 Seconds Duration: 2.8 | 3.3 | 3.8 | 4.3 | 4.8 seconds Attack speed reduction: 12% | 14% | 16% | 18% | 20% Character's magic power damage %: 115% | 120% | 125% | 135% | 145% Maximum player targets: 3 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 Maximum monster targets: 6 | 8 | 10 | 12 | 14 Dodge The skill will deal damage but will not have the earthquake effect on target Parry The skill cannot be parried Block The skill will deal damage but will not have the earthquake effect on target Resistance The skill will not deal damage but will have the earthquake effect on target Critical Hit The skill can deal critical strike Stun The skill can stun the target Demonstration at Level 1 and 5: Spoiler At lvl 1/5: Spoiler At lvl 5/5: Spoiler Extra Info: Spoiler Level 5/5 Ball Lightning will deal highest dmg but to a single target where as earthquake at 5/5 will deal highest dmg to multiple targets additionally will hold them on place for 4.8 seconds. If you prefer more AoE experience then I'd definitely recommend earthquake at level 5. Bonus Tip: Spoiler Because of the skill duration enchancement upgrade in talent tree of this class, It has become an monsterous skill right now. At lvl 5/5 (4.8 sec) alongside with talent upgrade (1sec) the duration of earthquake is 5.8 seconds, Which is alot. It greatly helps in escaping during a skirmishes, escaping a gank, escaping or nuking a large group of mobs, etc.. so basically an escaping skill when maxed and also it excels very well at PvE side with higher dmg to multiple targets. Expert Skills: Spoiler Lightning Shield Spoiler Deals the "Lightning shield" buff to a character or a member of the group for some seconds. The effect deals magical damage with some chance in response to an auto-attack or skill attack that deals instant damage. Type: Active Range: 4 Yards Energy cost: 20 | 24 | 28 | 32 Cooldown: 30 Seconds Duration: 10 | 12 | 16 | 20 seconds Chance to trigger damage by %: 15% | 20% | 25% | 30% Character's magic power damage by %: 85% | 90% | 100% | 110% Effect triggered by player attacks in every: 1.3 | 1.2 | 1 | 0.8 seconds Maximum player targets: unknown Maximum monster targets: No limit Dodge The skill can be dodged Parry The skill cannot be parried Block The skill can be blocked Resistance The skill cannot be resisted Critical Hit The skill can deal critical strike Stun The skill cannot stun the target Spoiler Extra Info: Spoiler With the Talent upgrade "Static Discharge" the damage of the skill is further increased by additional 20% and chance to trigger the damage is also increased by 15%. That makes it a totally badass skill for shaman. Enemy attacking you will take damage from your shield constantly. Piece of Advice: Spoiler The skill has gone through some nerfs in the last rebalance update which happened on december 2022. The skill used to last 40 seconds at 4/4 level now it lasts only 20 seconds at level 4 but the cooldown of the skill also has been reduced making it re-usable right after the skill ends. The Reflected damage can heal you with enough of "Lifesteal" parameter. Fire Totem Spoiler Places the fire totem in the specified area for some seconds. Totem deals magical damage of the character's magical power every 2 sec. to a random target in the specified area, or to a target that the character is attacking. With each attack with a chance equal to the percentage of critical hit, the Burning debuff can be applied to the target for 5 sec. The effect deals magical damage of the character's magical power every 1 sec. Healing Totem Spoiler Places the healing totem in the specified area for some seconds. The totem restores health by the character's magical power every 3 sec. to all allies in the specified area. Type: Active Range: 4 Yards Energy cost: 30 | 32 | 34 | 36 Cooldown: 34 sec. Duration of Totem: 8 \ 10 \ 12 \ 14 sec Totem restores health by character's magical power: 25 \ 30 \ 35 \ 45% of magical power Maximum number of player targets: 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 players Amount of times the Skill Heals: at level 1/4 = 3 times, at level 4/4 = 5 times. If the target has below 20% health then the totem will additionally heal 10% of maximum hp of the target thats basically double amount of heal compared to the normal heals from the totem. Highly recommended skill in this patch. Ancestor's Hand Spoiler Moves a member of the group to the character and deals the "Protective field" buff to them for some seconds. The protective field absorbs a certain amount of incoming damage. Type: Active Range: 5 yards Energy cost: 20 | 24 | 28 | 32 units Cooldown: 25 seconds Skill duration: 6.2 | 7.9 | 9.6 | 11.3 Damage Absorbption: 130% \ 150% \ 170% \ 200% of magical power Feature Changes Shield Size Calculation 130% \ 150% \ 170% \ 200% of magical power Ally Positioning Bug Fix Now appears behind the character when moving Shield Bug Fix Weaker shield on Shaman, stronger on target. Now fixed Piece of Advice: Spoiler The skill works fine at lvl 1/4 and I'd recommend you to keep it at 1/4 only as there are other better skills which will deserve the skillpoints. In arena this can save your party members Power of the Earth Spoiler Increases the maximum health of a character or ally for 20 sec. and instantly restores the amount of health equal to the added one. Every 2 sec. after applying the effect, the maximum amount of health of the character or ally will decrease by 10% of the added one. Before Type Active Range 5 yards Energy Cost 20 | 24 | 28 | 30 Cooldown 32 seconds Maximum Health Increase 10% | 20% | 30% | 40% Instant Heal from the Skill 40% | 50% | 60% | 70% Effect Duration Increases maximum health for 20 sec. Totem Duration Bug Fix Totem duration no longer extends without buffs fix Piece of Advice: Spoiler This skill now absorbs good damage, suitable for gvgs, arena. Tribes Ritual Spoiler Applies the Ritual Flame buff to the character or group member for some seconds. The buff increases the attack speed parameter and the critical damage strength parameter. Type: Active Range: 5 Yards Energy cost: 18 | 20 | 22 | 26 Cooldown: 30 seconds Attack speed increase: 5% | 8% | 12% | 14% Critical damage buff: 10% | 15% | 20% | 30% Duration: 14 | 18 | 22 | 26 seconds Extra Info: Spoiler This skill has originally given birth to "Buffing shaman" after recent changes in (update 10.2). A buffing shaman has become a trend now, a whopping 14% increase in Attack speed and critical damage 30% at 4/4 is alot. It not only helps in enhancing your dmg in solo scenarios but also helps your damage dealers in party enhancing their damage. Piece of Advice: Spoiler Works fine at 1/4. However, Go for the max 4/4 If you want to utilize its true potential in PvE. Endgame equips of merman set has good synergy with it. For PvP I'd say there are other skills which will better worth the skillpoints. Totem of Weakness Spoiler Places the totem in the specified area for 14 sec. The totem reduces the Critical Hit parameter, Penetration parameter and Accuracy for all opponents within a radius of 3 yards from the totem for 3 sec. Type: Active Range: 4 yards Energy Expense: 26 | 28 | 30 | 32 Cooldown: 20 Seconds Duration: 14 seconds Critical hit reduction: 10% | 12% | 16% | 20% Penetration reduction: 6% | 8% | 10% | 12% Accuracy reduction: 8% | 10% | 12% | 15% Maximum no. of player targets: 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 Monster Targets: No Limit Dodge The skill cannot be dodged Parry The skill cannot be parried Block The skill cannot be blocked Resistance The skill can be resisted Critical Hit The skill cannot deal critical strike Stun The skill cannot stun the target Piece of Advice: Spoiler This skill used to be way better before dec 2022 rebalance update. Now it got nerfed however even though it got nerfed it still does some decent debuffs only at maximum level 4/4 . This skill at 4/4 is used at Wars, GvG, large - small scale battles. Bonus Tip: Spoiler This skill helps you in seeing "Camouflaged" aka Invisible Opponents. (Rogues, Seekers or if anyone uses Ink pots or invisible scrolls). Very Useful skill in arena to predict a Seeker or Rogue's movement. Shamanic Cleanse Spoiler Reduces any incoming damage dealt to the character or an ally for some seconds and removes all debuffs from the target, including control effects. Type: Active Range: 5 Yards Energy cost: 22 | 24 | 26 | 28 Units Cooldown: 30 Seconds Reduction of incoming damage: 20% | 30% | 40% | 50% Duration: 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 seconds Nerfed: Feature Changes DOT-Effect Removal No longer removes DOT-effects from target Shamanic Cleansing+ (Talent) Feature Changes Talent Bonus Adjustment 5% to 4% Fire Totem Level Power of the Earth Level Hits 4 3/4 or 4/4 8 4 1 7 1 1 4 3/4 1/4 6 Heal Totem Level Power of the Earth Level Heals 4 3/4 or 4/4 9 1 1 5 4 1 8 Piece of Advice: Spoiler Good in pve and pvp both as it has nice synergy with some skills in shamans kit. Energy Field Spoiler Deals the "Energy saturation" buff to the character and allies who are situated in the same location as the character for the duration of the skill. The effect increases energy regeneration, energy regeneration rate, and the "Skills cooldown" parameter. Type: Semi Active(skill with constant energy consumption) Energy cost: 22 | 24 | 26 | 28 units Skill cooldown : 10 seconds Increase in energy regeneration: 12 | 15 | 20 | 26 units Increase in energy regeneration rate: 25% | 30% | 40% | 50% Increase in cooldown parameter: 13% | 16% | 20% | 25% Reduced energy regeneration: 5 | 7 | 9 | 10 Piece of Advice: Spoiler This skill fills the gap of lack of "Energy/Mana", useful PvE aswell as PvP as it increases whole party's "Energy" and "Cooldown" parameter. This skill works fine at 1/4 but at 4/4 the Bonuses are good aswell even though the skill has gone through some nerf it still in good condition. If you want to focus more on "CD" or "Energy/Mana" reliant Stat/Build go for this skill or even in general because this is hands down another best PvP/PvE skill when maxed. SKILLBUILDS Spoiler Basic SkillBuilds Spoiler Low Level Build "Beginner Friendly" (Level 14 with 8 Skillpoints): Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 1/5, 5/5, 1/5 Decent build which will provide you good healing aswell as good stun at a low level. Stun is required for each class but if you prefer to focus more on PvE then I'd suggest to put your skill points from skill "Lightning Blast" to either "Lightning Ball" and make it 5/5 for single target damage or on "Earthquake" and make it 5/5 if you like more AoE damage. Medium Level Build (Level 20 with 12 Skillpoints): Spoiler At level 20 you unlock more possibilities for skillbuilds therefore, 1/5, 5/5, 5/5, 5/5, 1/5 For a Good Defensive Playstyle, Basically it helps in surviving in PvE and PvP but also keep in mind that 5/5 of Earth Protection will not be effective at low levels since it works the best with "The more Defense you have the more Def you get". In that case you can transfer the points form Earth Protection to either Ball Lightning if you like single target dmg or Earthquake if you like AoE type damage. The minimum skills points required to be spent on basic skills are 10 so keeping that in mind these are some of the standard builds Defensive AoE Crowd Control Type Build: Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 5/5, 1/5, 5/5 With this build you have good heal, good defense and Heavy "CC" with Earthquake because if you remember earthquake at 5/5 lasts for 5 seconds and with talent upgrade around 6 seconds. This build is very useful in PvE as it not only increases defense of your tank in party but also holds groups of mobs in a place for sometime. Absolutely useful in Astral lab, Dungeons etc. Another variation of this build is if you dont like Earthquake then you can transfer the points on ball instead and it will still be a decent defensive single target type build. Offensive Heavy Crowd Control Type Build: Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 1/5, 5/5, 5/5 With this build enemies will have tough time catching you or coming close to you increasing your Kiting potential at large, because what this build does is you can blind one target and as he/she will be moving uncontrollably in random direction you can place earthquake on other enemies or you can just use both the skills on same target and with proper timing you will be able to keep them at distance. You dont have any defensive skill like Earth protection in this build to buff the defense but as long as your keeping the enemies at distance you wont be needing them anyway. At the same time this is more ideal for melee range classes like Bladedancer, DeathKnight, Barbarian, Seeker, etc and might not be the suitable against ranged classes like Druid, Mage, Warlock, Priest, Ranger, Hunter. etc as they can stun you from a distance they dont need to get close to you to do that. Full DPS Build: Spoiler 5/5, 5/5, 1/5, 1/5, 5/5 With 5/5 ball you will have lower Cooldown on the skill, so you can constantly spam it on the target and Earthquake 5/5 will deal high damage aswell as provide good AoE slow on targets. Advanced SkillBuilds (Including Skill point from Talent Tree) Spoiler A General All In One Build for lvl 32: Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 5/5, 4/5, 1/5, 4/4, 4/4, 4/4 You will have good damage from Fire Totem and Lightning shield also good heal from Heal Totem and good defense boost from Earth Protection. Full Support Build: Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 5/5, 1/5, 4/5, Lightning 4/4, Heal 4/4, Shamanic Cleanse 4/4 or Energy Field 4/4 Here since it is a Support build you might consider sacrificing damaging skill like Fire totem and rather focus on more Support/Survivability skills. Full Buffing/Enchanter Build: Spoiler 4/5, 5/5, 5/5, 1/5, 1/5 with Tribe's ritual 4/4, Energy field 4/4, Power of the earth 4/4 or Lightning shield 4/4 This is where the buffing shaman comes into the Role, with Tribes ritual 4/4 you will be enchancing your party members DPS and also reducing there lack of "Energy/Mana" part and also increasing their skills Cooldown % . Full DPS Build: Spoiler 4/5, 5/5, 1/5, 1/5, 5/5, with tribe's ritual 4/4, fire totem 4/4, lightning shield 4/4 This is when you want to play shaman as a DPS while still being a Healing class, very effecient at PvE also maximizing the dmg output in solo aswell are group scenarios. Tanky Build (Experimental): *NOT RECOMMENDED* Spoiler 1/5, 5/5, 5/5, 1/5, 4/5, with Power of earth 4/4, Shamanic cleanse 4/4, Lightning shield 4/4 Earth protection and Shamanic cleanse will reduce damage by alot and with stats like lifesteal and rage, lightning shield will restore your health. This build is especially if you want to build a Tanky Shaman with Health Augmentation stat ( % stat in Craft equipments) and HP accessories and with HP and Solidity enchants one can easily reach 7-8k HP along with Power of the earth at max you're HP will go further to 9k also dont forget there are pots, scrolls and even relics which increases HP so one can reach around 11k-16k HP with a Shaman. This will be useful only at certain situations like if you want to play game completely Solo-ing stuffs. For example Solo Boss Farmings, Solo T4/T5 Quests or Old and New Lab etc. My Personal Build: Spoiler PLEASE NOTE: Spoiler And we can go on with the Skillbuilds but these are some of the Basic and Advanced skillbuilds just to give you an idea on levelling a certain Skill, What it does, What kind of Impact it has and on What kind of Situations. IMPORTANT: Spoiler The main reason I havent considered keeping any Basic skill at 2/5, 3/5 is because I noticed expert skills are good when they are being left at 2/4,3/4 as at even low levels they will provide Good Values, where as 2/5,3/5 on Basic skills the changes are little to none and unless your character is a Low level dont consider spending skill points on Basic skills to make them 2/5,3/5. COMBOs Spoiler 1) Earthquake + Fire Totem + Ball Lightning + Auto Attack Spoiler Or Auto Attack + Earthquake + Fire Totem + Auto Attack + Ball Lightning + Auto Attack To maximise the dmg output This is your bread and butter wombo combo [This Section Is Under Development] RELICS Spoiler Ball Lightning: Spoiler Offensive Relics: Spoiler Relic of Stunning Ability: Spoiler With 10% chance applies stun debuff on opponent of 3 seconds Additional notes: Very useful relic in PvP, Arena, War. This is a good starting relic you can get your hands on. Where to find: Mcoin shop or market dealer Cost: 20-30k gold or lower Relic of Magic Poison: Spoiler With 10% chance applies poison effect on opponents for 6 seconds. Additional Notes: The DoT damage is really good in PvE. Another very good basic relic to have. where to find: Mcoin shop or Market dealer Cost: 20-30k gold or lower Terrible Relic of Life Weakness: Spoiler With 20% chance applies the curse debuff to enemies for 7 seconds. If the enemy uses any skill while on curse they will lose 10% from their maximum hp but not more than 1500 hp. Additional Notes: A very powerful relic in PvE as well as in PvP, These days almost all the bosses have some sort of skill and as soon as they will use it on you while the curse buff is active they will lose 10% HP from their maximum HP. Even though it limits at 1500 HP that is a good damage boost considering the chance of activation is greater than other relics on the same category. Where to find: Horror Event or market dealer Cost: 20-50k gold Icy Relic of Frostbite: Spoiler With 15% chance applies ice trap debuff against all the enemies within 2 yards of the target for 6 seconds. Also reduces their skill cooldown speed by 50% however damaging the target during the debuff is active will remove the effect. Additional Notes: I'm currently using it as this relic has a good synergy with "Icy Relic of Captivity Relic" This relic is mostly for PvP use. Where to find: Snow Event or market dealer Cost: 20-50k gold Defensive Relics: Spoiler Relic of Magic Power: Spoiler Increases the magic power of the character by 15% for 10 seconds, whenever the enemy dodges, parries, blocks this skill (ball lightning). Additional Notes: A really good relic to have because if your ability is dodged, blocked, parried you will get a nice boost of 15% increase in magic damage which is really good to have always. Where to find: mcoin shop or market dealer Cost: 20-30k gold or lower Terrible Relic of Stun: Spoiler Increases the stun parameter of the character by 7.5% for 10 seconds, whenever the enemy dodges, parries, blocks this skill (ball lightning). Additional Notes: If you dont know with lvl 32 stun staff including stun enchantment you can reach 12% stun with boots enchant of 3% you will reach 15% and with this relic 22.5% stun parameter. If you ask me I'd say thats a good % to have in PvP. Ofcourse I didnt included pots and scrolls because they are kind of temporary, Where as this here is permanent so that you dont have to worry about pots and scrolls always. Where to find: horror event or dealer, Cost: around 20-50k gold Icy Relic of Rage: Spoiler Applies rage bonus to the character when the enemy dodges parries blocks the skill (lightning skill). Additional Notes: This is a very op relic, as you gain 10% of damage when rage activates on your character not only that but also restores health by 15% when an enemy of equal level to yours or higher level is killed while this rage stat is applied on your character. Extremely op relic in PvP and PvE. Where to find: Snow event or dealer Cost: 40k- 100k gold Magic Relic of Cruelty: Spoiler Applies punching buff to the character for 20 seconds when the enemy dodges parries blocks the skill (lightning skill) punching buff increases penetration parameter by 4% every 5 seconds. Additional Notes: That means once this relic is activated you will gain 16% penetration increase in total in the duration of 20 seconds (5/5/5/5 seconds). Highly recommended because penetration is one of those stats which ignores the def of the enemy, also max penetration one can reach is 50%. You can reach 20-25% from guild buffs, equipments and accessories and weapon(excluding pots, scrolls) Where to find: Spring event or in dealer Cost: 50- 100k gold Empowering Relics: Spoiler Great Relic of Inaccessablity: Spoiler Increases the range of the skill by 2 yards i.e making your ball lightning a 7 yards skill. Additional Notes: This is a very important relic to have as a caster as it increases your kiting potential in PvP and allows you to deal damage from a distance. Since we can have 2 empowering relics on ball I'd suggest you to make this relic a must you will thanks me later. This relic is easy to find and usally sold cheaper in dealer Where to find: Dungeon Cost: below 20k gold Great Relic of Punishing Ability: Spoiler Increases skill damage by 12% Additional Notes: This is hands down the best empowering relic you can find, Increase in your DMG by 12% is a huge plus. Where to find: Dungeon Cost: Expensive relic around 50-100k gold Great Relic Indomitable Blow: Spoiler Increases the damage from critical strike of this skill by 20%. Additional Notes: Shaman's tribes ritual at 4/4 increases crit dmg by 27% and with guild passive crit dmg buff which is 20% one could reach 67% (excluding merman set gear bonus i,e 30% and Lizard priestman minion which also gives some % crit damage) But tbh Punishing ability is still better as it doesn't require a critical strike to work on. Where to find: in Dungeon or market dealer Cost: Usually at 20-30k gold Great Relic of Inevitability: Spoiler Deal 20% of the damage to the enemy If the enemy blocks, dodges, parries the attack. Where to find: horror event Cost: 50-80k gold Icy Relic of Captivity: Spoiler With 15% chance applies a buff to the character for 15 seconds during the next incoming attack against the character. For example, If you're earth protection provides 50% def at level 5/5, then with this relic it will provide 70% def but only requirement is that it works only when your character is on rage stat. The character ignores any control buff during the next incoming attack. Additional Info: Extremely Over powered relic. Not sure about PvE but this relic is a monster in PvP. If you have 20% life steal on your character then that means this relic will active with 20% chance. a good to have relic If you ask me. Where to buy: Horror event Cost: 100k-300k gold but depends Group Relic: Spoiler Relic of united control: You get 2 different effects from this relic. Defensive Relics Spoiler Relic of Solitude: Spoiler Increases the solitude parameter of the character by 10%, When enemy dodges, parries, blocks the skill effect. Where to find: Warspear anniversary event Cost: 20-30k gold Relic of Accuracy: Spoiler Increases the accuracy parameter of the character by 12%, When the enemy dodges, parries, blocks the skill effect. Additional Info: Best affordable relic to buy, if you have low accuracy on your equipments then go for it as it provide 12% accuracy which will be more than enough. Additional Info: So in this case if you have this relic equipped. With 10% chance you will ignore the Physical and Magical Defence of enemy during an auto attack. Even the smallest % from Cape enchants of 3% is enough because shaman mostly isn't an auto attack based class but still its always good to have. Where to find: Snow event Cost: around 100k gold Bonus: Spoiler With weapon you get 10% piercing, on Cape and belt enchant you get (3%, 3%)= 6% and with certain piercing accessories (X2 rings lvl 30 + x1 cape and x1 amulet)= 7.6% piercing So that is 33% total piercing you get excluding pots and scrolls. That is insane if you ask me. Empowering Relics: Spoiler Great Relic of Punishing Ability: Spoiler Increases skill damage by 12% Additional Info: For example, If you were dealing 1500 damage from quake then with the help of this relic you will deal 1500x12% = 1680 dmg. Also an affordable relic to have it you can't buy other two best ones. Where to find: Dungeon or dealer Cost: 10k gold Icy Relic of Cruelty: Spoiler Character deals critical strike with skill when used under rage bonus. My Relics Setup: Spoiler TALENTS Spoiler There are plenty of Talents and not knowing which to unlock first might make you lose interest on it at some point or another, Therefore I have handpicked the best Talents for a shaman :- [In Ascending Order] Spoiler 1) Stellar Point: Costs around 30k knowledge points. As a shaman your first priority in Talents is and should always be "Stellar Point" which gives you one skill point, One skill point makes alot of difference. 2) Earthquake: Costs around 30k knowledge points. This Talent Increases the duration of Earthquake skill by additional 1 seconds. Earthquake at lvl 5/5 along with this talent is a monsterous skill lasting 5-6 seconds. 3) Viscious Shell: Costs 42k knowledge points. At 5/5 earth protection you can apply def stacks on almost all the party members and them reducing the penetration parameter of the enemies is also another favourable thing. 4) Critical Heal: Increases the Power of Critical Healing from the character's skills by 1 \ 2 \ 3%. A must 5) The Power of Healing: Increases Healing Power from character skills by 1 \ 2 \ 3%. A must 6) Earth protection: Costs around 7k - 10k - 15k knowledge points while giving bonus 3% \ 4% \ 5% Increase in Earth protection at Lvls 1 \ 2 \ 3. If earth protection at lvl 5/5 increases 50% defence then with this Talent at 3/3 it will further Increase it by 52.5% not so great but its a good to have 7) Minions Defense: Reduces incoming damage to the character’s minions by 2.5 \ 5 \ 7.5 %. Minions Talent is the most underrated Talent the bonus it provides at lvl 123 is huge. Another great talent to level up 8) Minions Stamina: Increases the maximum health among the character’s minions by 2.5 \ 5 \ 7.5 % and reduces incoming damage from players against them by 1.5 \ 3 \ 4.5 %. 9) Minions Power: Increases the damage caused by the character’s minions by 2 \ 4 \ 6 %. 10) Bestial Rage rank IV: Increases the damage caused by the character to Miniboss, Boss, Raid boss by 1% \ 2% \ 3% at 1 \ 2 \ 3 Levels A must have Talent My Talents: Spoiler EQUIPMENTS Spoiler Absolute Beginner Equipment Builds: Spoiler Assuming that you have not spent all of your precious gold till lvl 17 (Because generally while starting as a beginner you should not spend gold in low levels as you will need it the most on the later times like at Lvl 17,18,20 for example. Now will be the best time for you to invest on your Equipments and make yourself strong along the way. Once you hit Lvl 17,18 buy these gears ASAP Spoiler This will provide decent defense with enchants, Which will be enough to have smooth questing progress. TIP: Spoiler If you find it hard to make gold try consider completing Astral lab, Norlant swamps quests both will provide you with around 5k gold daily i,e approximately 10k gold every day. This might not be alot but it will help you collect atleast these lvl 17/18/20 gears and usually these gears are below 5k gold. (Not including Event Quests and DGs which unlocks more ways to make gold) Now that you have decent lvl 17/18/20 gears you must unlock Ayvondil yellow quests to speed up your Levelling progress. Try to reach Town 3/4 In Ayvondil because this is the place which will mainly help you gain huge amounts of experience from the dailies. Assuming that you have unlocked T3/T4 and now you are lvl 26. This should be your build. Spoiler With this build your focus should be to level up to atleast lvl 30/32 then only start doing Sea town i,e T5 of Ayvondil yellow quests. Because without decent gears you might find it difficult to quest in sea map. Now assuming that you are lvl 32 This is a decent build you should focus on: Spoiler TIP: Spoiler If you're struggling in making gold to purchase these gears, Following are some of the ways you can make some good amount gold, T3 quests gives 5-6k gold with 3 days quest stack. T4 quests gives 16-18k gold with 3 days quest stack T4 easy-hero technopolis dg gives 10-13k gold daily from just 4 quests(which require you to complete 4 different stages of dg) T5 daily quests around 5-8k gold with 3 days quests stack. (If you manage to unlock) Astral lab old and new dailies gives around 6-8k gold Norlant Swamps dailies gives around 3-4k gold Also chances are most of the times there will be some event with valuable rewards in dungeons. A General Rule of Thumb you can follow is, Try to do dungeon atleast 10 runs in a day and if you get any good drop continue with another 5 runs if you get any drop in these runs then go 5 more again like that keep it going or stop if you don't get any drop. Advanced Equipment Builds: Spoiler Note: Level 32 craft equips/accessories were released while making of this guide that is why I haven't showed them here but I'll update as soon as they will be available in calculator. Ultimate Build: Spoiler Now, let me explain why this is the ultimate build: Craft cape is the best cape because of additional 5% bonus In this specific gear build I have selected x2 Merman equips because Merman equips are top tier end game equips and provides some very insanely important set bonus stats i.e, 20% crit rate and 30% crit heal + crit dmg when any of your crit heal or dmg is triggered additionally increases your mdmg by 30% with 15 seconds cd. and that is why it is heavily expensive aswell, Costing around atleast minimum 2-3m gold in emerald x2 CD equips because they are the cheapest one to get compared with the other equips like i,e Rage set, Lifesteal set And % accessories from Halloween event for the highest possible magic damage increase You can choose craft belt or belt from sea map which provides Pene+Cd which is also the best belt And Spring staff for the x2 Penetration which makes it the best staff There is also two variation in this build, Instead of horror % accessories we can go for: 1) Rage accessories or 2) CD accessories Rage accessories in my opinion are more OP than the % ones because they activate Rage relics which are very powerful relics. Spoiler 2) As far as for CD accessories, The way I look at this stat is that at 50% the cd of skill makes it 1.5x times stronger, 100% 2x times stronger, 200% 3x times stronger and so on. Personally out of curiousity I have tried to reach the maximum cd because why not, and I must say I was not dissapointed. Spoiler 200% is the maximum cd because that was the maximum I reached while chasing this experiment. If there is anything that I lacked then it was castle buffs other than that I used every possible thing on me from equips, skill, pots, scrolls, relics, world event buff, minion, enchants on rings everything except castle buffs which gives around 5-7% cd with 5 buffs. Since the event is still on Ill give it another try and this time with castle buffs and will update here if 200% is the max. or am able to reach higher. So, Basically with cd accessories you will be able to spam your skill more. Full HP Buid PvE Shaman: (Latest addition) Spoiler Full HP Shaman might sound kinda unnecessary but by the end of this topic you will not consider it as a useless build anymore. Especially if you prefer to play the game more by solo on PvE side. Full Craft equips, Accessories, Great HP enchants and HP cape. The HP of the shaman will be 9100 HP Link to the build in calculator: https://wsdb.xyz/calc/en/77576 Relic of Unprecedented Health - Gives 15% Increase in Health Cherry Smoothie - Gives 20% HP Augmentation (in other words Increase in 20% HP) OR Driver Invigorating Mixture HP Sea Pot - Gives 15% HP Augmentation (Increase in HP) [a cheap one compared to cherry smoothie like pots] Food 600 HP - Gives flat 600 HP, Not many know about this food maybe because they dont know it yet that this food can be used just like a Pot, Scroll. This food lasts for 10 Mins and also provides 34 HP Regeneration. Castle Scroll - Gives 25% HP Augmentation for 15 mins OR Scroll of Fortitude - Gives 7-8 % (Inaccurate) HP Increase for 10 mins Yellow Pig Minion - Increases HP by 20% for the owner as long as it lasts. Now calculations of HP build Theoretically, This is just a rough assumption because I believe the game has some complex formula affecting the HP indirectly. However, this will still be the most realistic assumption and you will see it why. The calculations of HP % has to work on base HP and everytime we level up we recieve 100 HP. In this build, https://wsdb.xyz/calc/en/77576 When the cloth equips with 15% augmentation are removed and guild passive 3/3 (which is 9%) is removed, Then the base HP of the Character will be 4842 (with only accessories and great enchants on them and hp cape) with Heady Rum (600HP) lets say 4842+600 =5442 hp is the base hp because we can add hp enchantment on belt aswell so lets further add 200 hp (great hp enchant on belt) to 5442 i.e, 5642 hp So our Final HP is 5642. Now the Fun part with % calculations... 4% faction passive, 9% guild passive, 1.25% hp talent at 5/5, 15% relic of unprecedented health, 20% from potion, 25% from castle scroll, 20% from pig minion, 40% skill power of the earth at 4/4, 75% from craft augmentation cloth equips 4+9+1.25+15+20+25+20+40+75 = 209.25 5642 + 209.25% = 17433 HP Instead of going full craft augmentation we can also swap 2x augmentation equips with 2x hp set bonus equipments of lvl 30 then the base hp will be 5642 + 250 + 250 + 300 = 6442 hp now 6442 Hp + (4 faction passive+9 guild passive +1 from talent+15 relic+20 pot+25 castle scroll+20 minion+40 shaman skill+45 craft equips= 176%) 179% = 17973 HP Now lets make it more user friendly by replacing expensive item like castle scroll for example. Because it is not affordable and in its place we can use scroll of fortitude (lets say it gives 10% increase) so the 209% from the above build will now be 194% 5642+194%= 16587 HP Because arena ranking reward is difficult and hp book is even more difficult and paladin is sentinel class so lets not include these yet still this is what it would possibly look like theoretically, 10-15% from arena ranking reward passive buff 209+10=219% 5642+219%=17997 HP 6% from HP book 209+6=215% 5642+215%=17772 HP Around 30% from paladin's skill 209+30 = 239% 5642+239% = 19126 HP Final notes: So, now in this update 10.3 Shamans can reach 16k HP to say the least. Why would you need 16k Hp anyway? Well its simple if you want to focus more on PvE content and prefer to do it by solo then with this build it should make things alot easier. Ill personally test this build in the coming days to unlock a shaman's true potential in PvE side. Full Attack Speed Build: (Latest Addition) Spoiler ATTACK SPEED BUILD We will discuss about the Attack Speed Build, Its uses and If It Is still relevant in update patch 10.3.4 Q. Why Attack Speed Build? A. Personally I like the animation of high attack speed hits and when you get to see such things with a staff wielding class it just makes it fun and unique while also at the same time dealing significant damage. Shaman and Mage are the only 2 classes in the game which has expert skill that enhances their attack speed %. Earlier it was only Mage now Shaman has joined the boat. Infact while testing I came to know that Mage's expert (Dragon Eye) Increases attack speed even more than Shaman's skill Tribes Ritual. Shaman's Expert: Tribes Ritual: Level 1 - 2 - 3 - 4: 5% - 8% - 12% - 14% Mage's Expert: Dragon Eye: Level 1 - 2 - 3 - 4: 7% - 10% - 13% - 18% Making Mage class more optimal for attack speed build because of that additional 4% increase in attack speed. Attack Speed Build Breakdown: 1) Guild Passive Skill: 15% 2) Scrolls:- i) Amplified Scroll of Dexterity: 10% ii) Legendary Scroll of Dexterity: 15% iii)Manuscripts of Chosen Charmer: 7.5% 3) Summon White Bull: 7% 4) Shaman's Expert Tribe Ritual: 14% 5) Mage's Expert Dragon Eye: 18% 6) 22% with gears and normal enchants, Around 25% with great enchants Build in calculator https://wsdb.xyz/calc/en/83095 (for shaman aswell as mage class) Now lets calculate, 22% from equips and normal enchants + Guild passive buff 15% + Amplified scroll dexterity 10% (selecting amplified scroll because 15% scroll can be expensive and its sometimes limited, 7.5% scroll is also limited where are amplified scroll is and will always be available every now and then because its in mcoin shop) + Minion white bull 7% + Shaman's Skill at 4/4 gives 14% = (68% Max attack speed is 70%) so with great enchants easily 70% for shamans mages with normal enchants will reach 70% easily Use: You can semi Afk with attack speed build For example, When you're fighting a higher hp boss you can just use your Tribes Ritual skill or Dragon Eye on yourself and basic attack the boss because of the higher attack speed and lifesteal bonus in Cape and Amulet you will be dealing quicker damage without even worrying about using skills but keep in mind it works the best only with higher attack speed% i.e, 60%-70% and may not be as effective in 40%-50%. Final notes: Lets see in future If devs release attack speed gears for example cloth equips with attack speed bonus, attack speed set bonus etc and then attack speed build will be a possible go to build for shaman and mage players. Because right now even though its possible we would have to depend on certain items like scroll/minions. My Equipments Build: Spoiler MISC Spoiler Max Attack Speed Shaman: Spoiler Max Cooldown Shaman: Spoiler Max HP Shaman: Spoiler (Coming soon) AncientOne (Shaman) Solo Dungeons and Bosses: Spoiler F.A.Q.s Spoiler Q. Which Expert Skill Shall I Buy First for my Shaman? A. Your first priority should always be Fire Totem at lvl 18, then Heal Totem at lvl 20 and then Lightning Shield at 22. Because these 3 skills are the foundation of shaman. After that If you want to focus on PvE then you should go for Tribe's Ritual or Energy Field If you want to focus on arena then Weakness Totem or Shamanic Cleanse . Your least priority skills should be Power of the Earth and Ancestor's Hand .
