New lv 18 bg items?!

I know for a fact that there are new lv 18 items that has set bonuses etc, but there is a story going around in Sapphire that BG Guards drop them? Or does the stronger Astral bosses drop them?

See other topics, medusa drops lv 18 equips. There is some lv 18 wep too but only russ got so far

Fire daemon ( Powerful Torturer ) drops lvl 17 stuff, no set bonus just useless dark def stuff ( cloak, ring, weapons ) 4th boss - 8th boss drop lvl 18 stuff with set bonus
