damage per second (dps)

:blush:    hello Can anyone would explain the damage per second (dps)?

It is only a presentation of the normal damage you do. Calculated with the weapon and attack-speed you have.

For instance, my deathknight has 420 physical damage with spear. Spear's attack time is 3.4 seconds. Divide 420 by 3.4 = you get Damage per second 129.

Not with attack speed or with skill dmg, its basic attack(basic dmg) divided by weapon speed, so its not a trustworthy show of your dps, because no skill dmg or actual stat speed are calculated, but interesting to see xd

Your atk speed is taken in consideration in your dps displayed in the "All Attributes"  section. I tried it myself by equipping and unequipping my atk speed cape.

yeah same, and it didnt, try it again, my ranger should have much higher dps then with 14.4% speed, it has 385/2.8 which is base dmg/bow so ya, and im not the only one claiming that..idk

When i unequip my cloak with attack speed my dps also went down...
