  1. I'm back, I haven't really done much in the dungeon aspect because I've been doing a lot of arena to get my last amulet. There's been a small change in main build now as I've found it a lot easier to stay alive in dungeons such as Sea Tramps - Mythical and Mermen dungeon (both of which I've done a fair bit of since Horror has been and gone. This build still I believe to be the strongest item set (of course with a few upgrades here and there) But this is currently the item set with the stats behind it that I'm running. Now of course the skill build I run I have never gone through, and this is something all you classy warlock mains need to remember this build Im sharing is for MAX damage in PvE only, the PvP skills, staff, crystal set up is all completely different and some servers use different things in arena aswell. This is STRICTLY PvE. But moving on 5/5 Arrow of Darkness, 5/5 Dark circle, 3/5 Life Exhaust 4/4 Shadow sphere (please devs buff this damage a little bit more ty) 4/4 Power of Relaxation and 4/4 Dark Seal. Now as we all know Imperials are pretty easy to get now so obtaining the rings aren't that bad but heres where I bamboozel you guys with something I feel needs to be addressed to any warlock player who gets their hands on mermen gear. Mana regen is a slap in the face if you 4/4 relax and mermen gear skill. 18 units per 2 seconds. I cant say this for sure yet I still need to obtain the gear but I believe even with my regen its not possible to run both full time~ which you would need to do in order to maintain maximum damage and maintain skill rotations. so at the bottom of this post I'm going to post the "Ideal" build Ill be going for when I get mermen pcs. If you have any suggestions on top of that please feel free mention them Hopefully soon Ill get off my ass and make a video showing how strong this class really is.| Warspear Calculator https://wsdb.xyz/calc/en/270773 Thank you for taking the time to read this
  2. Yeah warlocks are in a fine state of the game when you put 30/40 warlocks in one place where the line of survival is irrelevant and spamming all the AoE/CC skills you have to defend a flag/castle or even at raid bosses but warlocks are complete garbage in Arena. I personally resorted to becoming one of few if not the strongest PvE warlock for Raid bosses and dungeons. Tho this is a tad off topic sorry. Nerfing Kick in the back after playing against it in arena really there's ways to deal with it man it doesn't need nerfing if anything it'll give some of those uh "easier" classes on elf a bit of a challenge I think man. Rogues and Seekers are bottom tier for everything else so soon I expect a little buff or something rather for Seekers aswell but rogues dont need changing at this point. Just find another way to deal with that annoying rogue. Look I dont disagree here, if they nerf the shield give em something back I get it. I feel the same way. People cried for DK curse to be "nerfed?" I guess now it doesnt work on flag n stuff yadda yadda but instead of making the only option magic power for paladins or phys why dont people find a way to make paladin more tank instead of a support running around throwing shields and heals on everyone. I'm sure we can come up with a way to make it better. But again my opinion stands Rogues don't need tweaking at the moment There's always a way
  3. One of the biggest moments that happen more often in my world. Party members - ShockBoner +10 rogue (I believe has a few books aswell dont hold me to that) Obbitorjr +9 rogue (Unsure if books used or not) Umadara +9 hunter (usure if books used) MrNecromax +8 Necro with 4/4 damage buff as expected. Numbawun +10 warlock with Cooldown reduction book and mana book. Results conclude. Push yourself for greatness and you'll be great, shoot for the sky and nothing will stop you Next goals for me are a few books and Mermen gear! Numbawun - US-Sapphire.
  4. You have a lot to say about a lot of classes but honestly have you been on the other end of the scale? I could pin point every last thing you said here that really doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense but as you read this you'll know what I'm referring to. I hear this a lot from both sides of the fence but we all need to remember that every class is meant to be unique and server a purpose. Sometimes changing the setup you run or even changing around party members can change the fight to benefit you just keep that in mind when reading this. Paladins are a joke right now, not just because of the shield but its because you can stack the shield on top of of a blade dancer that's got max resistance buff plus a shield again, even if that blade dancers shield is 800/1000 that on top of a 100% shield from a paladin keep in mind if said paladin has 10k hp we are talking 10k shield +1k 11k shield + 3 resistance buffs + resistance stats + rush which is also 100% resisted while casting and not to mention resistance pots and scrolls. Now let me ask you this, find me a warlock that can deal with that? find me anyone that can deal with that? Only people that can have shit loads of books, full greatness and generally are shamans that can face tank it (shamans with distortion book). That being said how does a rogue deal with a paladin bd combo in arena? really isn't the easiest thing to deal with that's for sure. gvg and war situations well honestly doesn't it now come down to what side has the most level 10 guilds with unity to just unity to flag and win? really i only see the use of rogues for dungeons and arena that's it really Kick in the back makes no difference in gvg/war situations. I wont disagree kick in the back is annoying to handle but honestly its not that hard, bds dont need to worry ty resistance priests I'm pretty sure that have redemption + an aoe heal not to mention mages have a resistance skill aswell so honestly can you say kick in the back is hard to deal with for elf? or is it hard to deal with for mc considering only 2 classes have a single resistance one time buff being barbarian and shaman, shaman being able to cast on anyone. Charmers well honestly I hate them I wouldn't be upset if they deleted the class from the game and remade something else, didn't like playing it, don't like vsing it and honestly dont enjoy playing with it in arena. Current classes that need attention for the Arena aspect of the game weather its nerfs or buffs consist of this list (This is my personal opinion) Warlocks Blade dancers Paladins Druids Now these can honestly be fixed with a simple mechanical change of the resistance stat and how it works but honestly from someone's point of view, someone's personal experience against a class in small or large scale classes we all ♥♥♥♥♥ about other classes being stronger than others, I'm a warlock main and have been for yonks and honestly its not easy being a warlock and I hope your class feels the same because if its too easy then where's the joy in the game?
  5. Warlock, its a classic. Useless in small scale (Thanks to certain skills and the addition of resistance) But absolutely horrendous with large scale (If there is more than 15 in the location then whatever you are fighting don't really stand a chance). Its known everyone complains about warlocks when they are the user of the warlock. "resistance ruined warlock" "Bladedancers 1 combo me" "rangers blow me up before I even get the chance to use fear" the one I hate most "Sick of Dark circle never working because of PoS" Actually talking about warlocks is hard from everyone's point of view unless you've played it for a long time and adjust yourself to the shitty bugs and resistance struggles currently surrounding us. It's not that bad! But there's room for improvement. < Warbuff 4/4 relax - Warbuff 4/4 relax 15% pot + 15% scroll > I've noticed this has been mentioned a lot in some other posts here that warlocks aren't sorted after for dungeons due to the lack of damage compared to other classes such as a +7/8 hunter but one thing Ill say now is that's not true. Despite the past nerfs to Shadow sphere Ive still managed to cap out my damage and carry my parties in dungeons and I also keep up with +10 hunters and +10 rogues (That have used a few books mind you). Its hard to believe but in the future Ill give everyone a peak at how fast I actually nuke mobs and how fast I can melt a bosses health bar using skills no warlock really uses. I went from hitting 10k (10000)+ Shadow spheres on land to hitting low 6k (6000)+ spheres since the changes which yes really hurt to see but I wont complain too much like I was. If I was to make an impact and change how a few things on warlock from a PvE point of view which I know a lot of people who prefer PvE over PvP Id suggest 3 skill changes. 1) Bloody tribute I mean the DoT is nice until the target uses a skill. If I had a say make it stay on the target for 10 seconds and do damage for the whole time instead of removed once a skill is cast. 2) Grimoire Honestly I hate this skill I've never used it in any situation. Maybe changing this to another AoE DoT would be amazing. And last of all 3) Shadow sphere put it back to how it was before patch. It was really the biggest part of the DPS kit but not its just bleh takes SO much work to even get it to hit 10k now. PvP and how it feels? Honestly... 3v3s 1v1s 2v2s feel like the biggest waste of time for me when vsing elves. Resistance, Skills, Scrolls, Pots really just don't feel useful in those situations. Now I have no clue how to fix this other than being a typical MC player and say nerf those classes that outshine like Bladedancers/paladins/druids yadda yadda you've all heard it before but other than nerfing or buffing the warlock to high heavens there really is no fix to this. BUT LARGE SCALE WAR O my this is the joy, watching 20/30 even 40 warlocks band together and honestly completely STOP 4 guilds like we did on SA - Sapphire war day was honestly the best feeling I've ever felt and watching it unfold was truly one hell of a sight. Im more than open to ideas that allow warlocks to be more useful in arena but I really don't see it happening anymore. But warlocks really need to be proud to be able to be absolutely annoying in large scale to the point where if others really looked at the stats behind wars that warlock dark circle would be the biggest impact period. Over all thoughts.. There's work needed no doubt. Classes get more attention than warlock no doubt. I want to see more warlocks and I want to see more warlocks pushing for greatness as a team, as a unit just as a united race. Warlocks really are the underdogs or the war scene. Your guild struggling? just find yourself 20 warlocks to fill 20 slots and bang you can change every fight you have. Really though its easy to hate playing the class as it was once the strongest control mage in the game but moving onwards look for the positives about the class, and stay tuned for more from me as Ill show you all how strong warlocks really are in PvE and keep your eyes peeled for some really strong PvP warlocks with lots of books in their back pockets
  6. Any word on the test server adding back Warlocks Shadow sphere damage? I noticed when I logged back in my max critical hit with Shadow sphere was 7313. Keep in mind this was with Level 28 Nadir set and a pot. (Still 2800 damage less than before on critical hit). Anyone find out why Aigrind developers believed shadow sphere needed the damage nerf yet or we still walking around with no knowledge as to why the things they have done were done?
  7. Unfortunately people who dont play warlocks dont understand how frustrated I get when I see the fact that Warlocks arent good at DPS to begin with but to make it worse its like trying to kill off the player base. All warlocks needed was a simple Stone body change and a Exhaust change. The nerfs to Weakness zone are whatever to me but god removing the key damage skill to warlocks isnt the way to go. Thats my opinion anyway, and I have a feeling a lot of people think the same
  8. Sorry, Ive just noticed the fact that theres a warlock fanbase. This 25% nerf is absolute awful for every single warlock player in my opinion, Ive focused my warlock around PvE for years and Ive always stuck to it but recent days Ive started doing a bit of PvP and I can understand why people get so frustrated about warlock control skills but now days people need to understand that Warlocks biggest counter is Resistance. 10% resistance is annoying for warlocks but 20/30% resistance makes warlocks unplayable. Ive capped my warlocks damage at level 30 with the highest amount of pene with the intentions of focusing Mana regen on rings. 130 Mana regen, 30% penetration, 44% crit and so on. With that in mind Ive hit max crits on land with a double pene staff in dungeons using Pots cards Medusa and a necro in the party and hit easy 15k crits no dramas. But it tastes a lot of buffs to actually achieve this fluently. This of course is a different story in Arena, After playing against max resi players of all types my Shadow spheres average hit is about 1.3k give or take with 50% fero and around 23% penetration. Now I dont see how any of this needs to be changed. Giving us mana back on use? Honestly its pointless and Id never ask for it as Ive proven that its not the worst Idea to run full regen anyway. Ive been in main raid boss parties because of my damage output and there was only a very few amount of people that kept up and or out DPS'd my warlock and those players being players with a lot of Books. People always wondered why I focused PvE over PvP on my lock and thats because Im strong at what I do. Ive got no idea why they want to nerf the crap out of Shadow sphere but whatever the issue is Id personally LOVE to find out Numbawun US, Sapphire.
  9. Warlock mains, whether you love to focus PvP or if your like myself and you thrive in PvE, can you find any real reason why Shadow sphere nerfs should be put in place? I sure cant. Understanding the class is easy, its a control mage thats built around cooldown reduction and timing. For those that believe weakness zone was too OP I wont disagree. It was a bit too much and I wont argue the fact that Weakness zone needed nerfing. But nerfing Warlocks main damage skill? I dont understand why and Ive love some insight on why people believe that Shadow sphere needs to be nerfed. After playing on the test server last night using my full nadir set, level 30 +10 staff potted, sitting on 1297 magic power my top crit was only 6k which is low. That was on a dummy. On live servers on Dummy Ive crit for 9k with only a pot aswell. Now I know what most of you are thinking when you see the fact that 1 skill can crit so high, but its not really how the skill works. The less mana I have the lower it hits which is what makes the skill so unique, making warlocks focus harder on when to use shadow sphere dependent on the mana regen you have and the total mana pool you have made these numbers drop. If the damage on shadow sphere will be a solid 2.5k flat damage (which it was on test server) then Im pretty sure I wouldnt be able to keep up in damage at bosses which would mean 99% of the time unless Im in an achievement party that I wont be able to be a main DPS warlock. I think generally the nerfs to weakness zone were 100% fair I dont disagree, the changes to Exhaust are really useless to any warlock player that doesnt use the skill as a prio skill and Stone skin well I hardly cared about the skill anyway more used it to change gear while at sea bosses. I think I just need some explanation as to why you guys think Shadow sphere needs nerfing?
  10. You play warlock? If you do then you understand this change is probably the WORST change they could of done. If you dont, Id love to see everyone here actually play the class to understand how bad it is.
  11. Everyone here crying over simple changes. Mage nerf isnt much of a nerf. The fact that mages can perma stun was annoy to play against in Arena, large scale war and general gameplay. People need to stop crying like babies and understand that currently this game has a overwhelming skill gap. Paladins have a shield that takes everyone a million years to break. Bladedancers have amazingly annoying skills of a global Hamstring, a skill that gives them resistances to 4 skills. counter play? Wardens are absolutely annoying to kill unless you use dispelling relics but that means you miss out on important stats relics can give. Charmers are again another annoying class to play against unless you max out resistance. There are very CLEAR skill gaps on both sides but the dev team clearly dont want to do anything other than make sure that the kids that cry "1v1 me" get the fair chances to out skill them. The more you guys push classes that CLEARLY need the help down the more I want to quit. And I bet you any money the VERY small POPULATION of WARLOCKS will get even smaller now. Thanks Aigrind youve done it again
  12. The sheer state of warlock at this current point in the game with resistance and you guys go along and push us deeper into the mud? Holy shit. Power of relaxation nerf isn't needed period. If cant even full cycle with it on CURRENTLY < And In on 130 mana regen. As for Sphere Id love to see how useless Warlocks will become in Arena and large scale war.
