I wouldn't say all are horrible. but about unprofessionalism, very much yes.. imo strip everyone of their banhammers. take a look at how mods conduct themselves and demote accordingly. just because they were the only/most suitable applicants at the time doesn't make them good for the community..

I disagree. I think moderating has a lot to do with character, how you interact with other players and how you make decisions. it also has a lot to do with good face. mod positions should be filled by exemplary players, not 'undesirables'.

I remember that. seems like it was a personal favor.. which is fine if the person is suitable for the position.. but now.. keeping kathi as mod would be sending a bad message and promoting skemthievery + poor behaviour

I think it's pretty clear to everyone that kathi has no business being mod, I wonder who we can thank for that. mods don't goad users into personal arguments simply so they can exercise their power. r0land or whoever will deal with this should consider that as well as taking account of kathi's actions in-game.

well, for those of us involved and close enough to it all to have known what was going on when it was going on there seems to be no question. too many similar instances for it to be merely innocent mismanagement of friends gear.. there is also a story of still owing 200k to another player, I only just heard of it in the last few days from the person she owes.. though I don't know the full details there.. hard for me to accept it as he said, she said.. being involved or not.

if you read through the entire exchange between gi, swaaz and kathi you'll see what she admits too and her true character that shows in the process. I can only speak for myself. duane is like the fat kid, upper lip stache, smells like ramen noodle, sweaty tourrets guy in high school. I've always considered him more a clown or entertainment piece than friend. he is vulgar, more than offensive, he scams people who blindly put their trust into strangers. this is what we talked and laughed about and you kathi, you don't act the same. we would have fun, good times laughing about silly stuff, I'd ask you how your school was going, life, talk about gi, et cetera. we were never something like 'bff' but I considered you a good friend and placed a lot of trust in you concerning certain topics. if I had loaned duane something and he scammed me I'd say that I deserved it, it would be something to be expected. but I didn't, I loaned something to a long time acquaintance and friend who promised and assured me to take special care of something that meant a lot to me. and now we know what happened. not trying to say that you're better or worse of a person than duane was, simply recounting the events that you allowed to happen and the trust that you betrayed. I never loan gear to anyone. never been scammed. I'm no fool and always the first to say to others to be careful who you place your trust in. I made the initial mistake, no delusions about that. like I said, simply recounting what happened here for others to see and judge on their own.

afaik kathi has no legit eu char to invest in? ..even that ~lv11 sham I gifted her dragon catcher to.. so I think it's a bit of a different situation. not saying that she would skem everything/anything given the chance.. but just to beware. - as far as kathi replacing what has been lost I'm not going to hold my breath.. while it's impossible for her to replace anyway. it wouldn't do any good now, it won't solve anything and for sure isn't what gi or I are looking for. my trust and respect has completely gone for this player. it's important for others to know what she pulled, how she did it and how she is acting now so it won't happen again, I think that's the objective here.

to clarify,looking at time stamp on my first pm 'on a weekend' was just over one month after I told you to get it back asap. just over a month of kathi doing a lot of avoiding. and I don't know exactly how long boogiez held it for since you sold it to him in the first place.. my guess would be close to 2 months.. doesn't seem like kathi was planning to buy it back at all.

the point is kathi has done similar things to a number of players in sapphire. hai, im 1 dem nubs. - I've pretty much outlined what happened with rogue set in a couple other threads.. kathi obviously showing no shame so there's probably no point in detailing here but since it's for the record (and will most likely give swaaz a stiffy) here it is; one of the last times gi logged in for a visit I had recently made 14 rogue, asked if I could borrow the set, gi passed it on to me and everything was fine. good friend absy and I teamed up for 14 arena often and I had my own +9 glad so I passed one of the 10 swords to him to use while we melted faces together. few months later kathi asked to borrow the set explaining she wanted to gain ap for 19 res set as she was planning to lv up snowkath. I was hesitant because I knew exactly about kathi's past concerning the miracle coin issue and bd set issue among other rumors, however, knowing and being friends with kathi since she was just a little nublet and knowing that gi had loaned her and others the set in the time since that happened I agreed. kathi gave her account info and assured me I could log in at anytime to retrieve it. at that time absy was still using one of the swords so I passed her my own old +9 hatchet (which was gifted to my barb years earlier) and told her to use that until and if absy wanted to pass her the 10. some time passed by and kathi seemed to be collecting ap and I continued to check in and ask about the set. some more time passed and I stopped playing around xmas and logged once every little while to visit fiends. about a month or so ago I logged in for a visit and a friend had asked me if kathi had sold the set.. immediately tried logging into snowkath and realised account info had been changed. tried contacting kathi here in forum to which I received no reply, eventually had a friend track her down in lol and tell her that I wanted to speak with her.. of course whom she ignored despite 'not being afk'. turns out she did sell the set to tpains little rogue. after some time and clearly having my messages here in forum ignored I happened to log in warspear while kathi was online. started to pm her to ask what happened, received no reply for about 10 minutes despite her staves durability depleting, further avoiding the issue. finally by chance ended up on same map as kathi and she couldn't feign afk any longer, I received the reply basically saying 'don't worry, I sold it temporarily to make profit, will buy it back, don't worry don't worry'. followed by a week (or two?) of me pm'ing and asking what the status is, again no replies no replies then finally another simple reply of 'don't worry'. finally discovered that tpain had sold the set to evildoll and cyber. told kathi how mad I was and haven't spoken or heard from her since, no shock there. later found out that a only a day or two before she sold the set she got absy to pass her the second +10 sword explaining to him that she 'wanted more stat options for rogue'. which was obviously a lie. whether kathi ever had intentions of buying it back or if there ever was that agreement in the first place I can't say.. but all indications of how kathi acted point to not likely. it's a terrible shame the set has now been split up. feel terrible as it wasn't mine to begin with and was such an iconic old set in sapphire. not to mention the axe which kathi knew had more than simply 'old enchant value' to me concerning who gifted it. that's all I have to say about that.

the truth that kathi is simply a beggar and thief? and that's what makes it worse, I was only caretaking for that gear. the bd set was one thing.. then to do what she did with rogue set.. not to mention lying to absy to collect the sword he was using before selling it all..

made MY day, it's a good thing since you wouldn't be able to scam and sell gear from 'friends' anymore

I've known kathi a long time, she promised to take care of it and gave up account info. I just didn't expect she would do this especially after she knew I knew exactly what happened with igydal set. I was wrong. last time sparrowe and I pvp urowak took the win at 4/3. sparrowe is good when his connection isn't bad. from around the time when I quit yushiko was one of the fastest/toughest.

aaand further demonstrating that you have nothing to contribute. your efforts might not be so wasted in trolling sapp.

it's not about using parry for rogue, it's about taking a piece of gear and changing in it a way that it can never be the same again.. destroying warspear history. you seem to think it was a smart thing to do, good for you, hope you enjoy it.. but don't be surprised that old collectors call you noob on it.

it's plain stupid to overwrite old enchants, surely you understand this. rogue shouldn't even use honed anyway, better advice would have been to suggest battleaxe or falchion/glad. but I guess it's just easier to buy dmg instead of putting thought into your builds. with the exception of the axe which was gifted to my barb 3 years ago that gear was never 'mine' I was simply a caretaker. I don't expect new players to understand the significance of the set as you weren't around when its original owner made it famous and sadly kathi has chosen to ignore this and act as thief and liar and this is the result. thanks for your input though!
