  1. I don't think our thoughts and reviews here at international forum are passed on to the developer team when they consider skill reworks. You'll have to learn russian and tag Holmes. I'm tired and disappointed. I don't wanna write anymore about this.
  2. I think its on the lower side too for a melee class. A 5 to 8% increase at 4/4 is justified. You have to compare the damage difference and attack speed interval to check its single target damage potential when compared to other classes. Maces have the longest attack speed interval on any 1 handed weapon. But everyone keeps saying " But they have way more damage than an axe". Please take a look at this -> 672 - 616 = 56. x2 = 112 Damage difference at +10 amp. That's all. Now, its obvious any chieftain who maxes the speed skill does so for the purpose of a full physical damage single target speed chieftain. Now that means no heal, no blow of spirits, no swooping army. Chieftain's were good DPS in horror dgs because that was a setup that highlighted AOE attack especially swooping army. But a physical chieftain would need attack speed accessories and light armor speed set leaving its magic damage next to 200 or 300 tops. So what I'm saying is a chief can't be a single target speed damager and an AOE damager at the same time. Nor would it make sense to be one. Any and all skill usages reduce the DPS of an attack speed based class. Anyone who's played rogue, hunter, seeker or BD would recognize this. Also I think the comparisons should be made to seeker and BD DPS, not charmer or warlock. In summary: The 20% provided by the skill might not be enough, All the chieftain's in our guild are asking the same thing: " Why would I sacrifice a hybrid build and 3 to 4 skills to make an attack speed chieftain that can't even reach same level of speeds like seeker, rogue or BD?"
  3. That's my whole point. Why should it be hard and next to impossible? What makes them so entitled while everyone is satisfied with a mediocre resist skill for chieftain? you need 3 warlocks and shamans to remove the resist off just 1 BD and even then they wouldn't be able to stop them from rush stun. I'm not saying chieftain should be the same. But the legion as a whole lacks resist. Only barbarian has one skill. When an entire faction is hopeful for something and ends up with this, its a tad bit disappointing to say the least lol. 💩 As for my comment. Mr. Hourai over here has a history of leaning towards the sentinels side in the majority of his forum posts. He's admitted it himself on some previous posts. But he's one of the few people like Higgs, khrone, etc who actively participates in forum discussions and offers their opinions. That is very nice. All I meant was before giving out opinions about what has been read from skill descriptions, maybe show some supporting instances like chieftain videos or just describe what happens in crucibles, or the new GvG or 5s. That would also maybe make the current chieftain's understand his point of view. Oh? which part or skill? pve / pvp component?
  4. They do have their perks of course. No doubt. ofc. As a warlock who can only win by outplaying I strongly agree. I was just pointing out one of the many scenarios where they can lose out due to a resist skill without a practical duration. My main concern would be in many vs many scenarios and arena like 5s/ crucibles. Another suggestion from my side would be to reduce the % of the resist and increase the duration to make it more useful. That's the issue. We maybe able to remove the BD resist count by weakness totems and dark circles but they would have already done the damage with the rush stun + ham by then. I'm not going to dwell on the BD topic. Granted playstyles should be different for BD and chieftain but that should also provide a practical application in GvGs and many vs many scenarios. How practical do you think is 6s for a class without stuns ? The impact they can do is minimal. they'll take down 1? maybe 2 people with wolf and frenzy before resist and hide runs out? before they get caught in AOE stuns? Can they stun anyone in that time? Please, take a moment to evaluate this. I just hope chieftains won't end up like a run of the mill class like most. People should feel the excitement to play it. There should be unique builds, good skills that make it a winner to attract people to opt this class especially the new players, not haphazard ones that only look good on paper. Of course. I'd like to end this amicably. I meant it when I said no hard feelings. Some of your arguments do irk me, but I thank you for keeping an open mind about the whole thing. 😄
  5. Forgive me for being blunt, but that's cause you're biased. No sir, resist is not fine. You talk a very good game but where is your chief? In fact, we have 2 more days of test left. Instead of being a keyboard warrior saying everything's fine and dandy just because you think so, I invite you to bring this fine chief of yours into arena and pve screnarios. Prove it practically. In fact, I'll record for you if you think chief has such an abundant and versatile use of resist skill. You forget that a physical build chief has to sacrifice its entirety of magic skill. No blow of spirits, swooping army, No heals. I think it's a fair trade. Anyone can reach reasonable attack speeds with all these buffs you mentioned. and my point is why does this class has to buff up so much to look so good? Look at the plethora of control skills that the other side has got as well as the resist skills including BD which is a total headache. You call it whining because you don't have to be at the receiving end of it. Try fighting a guild war with 10 to 20 BDs switches on their resists and initiates rush. Chieftains were supposed to be a front liner to counter this situation with their one AOE stun as well as Resist skill. You think that would happen with 6s of resist? Anyways I don't want to talk much about this unnecessarily. Take a look at this chieftain, Looks impressive right? 1414 pdmg. 1500 + in crucibles and 5s after scaling to 32. I have a +8 lock, He couldn't reach me. He used 6s stun to initiate. I used stone body. resist time ran out. He couldn't touch me after that. Even if he gets in a hit or 2 after stone body, what will he do? He can't stun me. Rugged hide switches off after 12s. Imagine what a druid/ Pala, ranger or BD would do this class, What I'm saying is the stats and duration provided by these skills are not adequate and there are plenty of shortcomings that needs to be addressed / reworked. I implore you for once, stop trying to bring out counters just to win an argument. When a whole section of chieftain users are giving the feedback that it's not adequate, listen to them. Stop those itching hands for once from typing. Go test it out. Show us your chieftain if you think its all rainbows and sunshine. P.S: No hard feelings mate.
  6. I understand you're a player with a sentinel main so it's not easy for you to understand their point of view. But they're expressing their opinions as players who have developed chieftains and has experience playing them in pve as well as pvp scenarios. Let's be real, that resist duration and attack speed % is meh. You have to understand their frustration. Like Higgs & Nolan said, hope some changes happen before the final closing of the test servers. I believe this is you or one of your friends? your templar healing 14k? and they get stuck with 20% speed at 4/4 and a 6s resist? Also when we participated in the snow GvG, 1 vs 1. Our enemy guild kept taking the explosives back to their camp and destroying their own tower. Is that supposed to happen? We lost some rounds with all 3 of our towers intact. Also, People were able to take multiple explosives from one area. Like 4/5 per area. Was that a bug? @Nolan
  7. Yeah lol I feel that. 6s is a joke. Something needs to be changed here. I went crucibles and took out some +10 chieftains like it was a walk in the park. It's not that they played bad or didn't have adequate resi gear, it's just they don't have the skills to last. And I was on warlock. Classes with resist are supposed to be our counter lol. I just stay away for 6s and full control the chieftain, it couldn't even get near. It can't even stun smh.
  8. Chieftains got ripped off lol. All their skills look good on paper but when it comes to practical application, yikes. Resist is 6s duration at 4/4 with 30s base CD. Only 20% attack speed at 4/4 for 25s. I was really hoping chieftains would turn things around. But alas.
  9. Same in the sapphire server. If it's a tally of points between faction, the legion will lose even before the event starts due to overpopulation issues on elf side. Ngl, Kinda dampens the whole point of the competition.
  10. I only mentioned it cause you called rugged hide the best tank skill in game. smh Have you made a chieftain btw?
  11. That's not the best tanking skill in game lol. Block master is. 🥱 All I'm saying is, chieftain's better get resist over 50% with ample duration. No stun skills on a class is a very dangerous and a new concept. 🤔 Also if you're not gonna give a class any stuns then you have to really pump up its survivability and damaging options. this doesn't seem something too far fetched looking at all the other class kits atm but will reserve any other comments till we see the actual values, duration, cd, etc. P.S: Even I feel bad for DKs now. Sorry Higgs. Hope you guys get something good soon man!
  12. I do have to say though, The pace at with you guys are rolling this stuff out is impressive. I mean there's too much information and stuff in here already. I think you might have outdone yourself. 💙 Waiting for the test server. xD I have a request though. At the announcement post ( where you put in the numbers, duration and cd for the skills), could you please mention the whole skill description after reworks instead of just the change? Like eagle eye %, templar reverse flow stun times at different levels after rework. Thank you in advance.
  13. Lol, you're kidding me right? Individual guild blessing as a skill? We already found a bug. Kindly disable the option of applying healing mantra to the dynamite carrier / crown carrier. You can already imagine the consequences.
  14. I doubt this would happen. The class will get controlled before that in most cases. Unless the resistance % provided is obscenely high. BD is an unstoppable initiater because of all the guaranteed resists.
  15. Yeah, I think the majority of the player population is hoping for that. wolf + the attack speed skill triggers the AOE stun skill maybe? A class without 0 stuns or disabling is too bold. xD It isn't that broken in any other department too tbh. Let's see. say what now?
  16. It would open up attack speed build for pve chieftains. You'd have to abandon everything and focus fully on physical damage though. No place to magic based skills. If the speed or pene stats are meh, I don't think many would sacrifice magic based skills like swooping army, blow of spirits, eagle eye for this build.
  17. Let's see them chieftain expert skills, Friends! We continue to delight you with surprises and innovations from the upcoming update. As promised, here's another very interesting piece of news from the Ability Laboratory. This time, we will tell you about the new Expert Skills of the Chieftain! Let's start with a skill that will allow you to take the physical potential of the class to new heights. This active buff will reward its owner with the "attack speed" parameter if two maces are equipped, and "penetration" if a two-handed weapon is used. But this is not the only way to attack quickly! The next skill will allow you to instantly land multiple hits on the target. Check it out - it really looks epic! And then a pleasant surprise awaits you, because with the skill that removes negative effects and increases the resistance of yourself or an ally, the Chieftain can really sparkle with new colors. And one more skill will complement the whole picture, which allows you to negate, think of it, positive effects from enemies. And as a bonus, it will also restore energy. We can say that now the new classes are born again, which means they will be able to properly fulfill their role. Share your opinion in the comments as we finalize the announcement of the upcoming update. Very soon a new chapter in the history of our wonderful and vast world of Arinar will open before you. See you! AIGRIND New Expert Skills breakdown: 1. Let's start with a skill that will allow you to take the physical potential of the class to new heights. This active buff will reward its owner with the "attack speed" parameter if two maces are equipped, and "penetration" if a two-handed weapon is used: This has all the chieftains soaring through the roof right now. You should've seen the chieftains' reaction in our server. 😆 Everyone is really looking forward to this skill. Personal opinion: I have mixed feelings. I'm kind of excited and dread this at the same time. It's clear that they'll only be providing one stat at a time; Attack speed and penetration buffs based on weapons. I really hope that's a high number as this is the skill that would determine the future potential of physical damage chieftains. I think people expect a ballpark of 35+ attack speed when fully pumped to 4/4 with cycling options. Since the attack interval between maces are the highest provided by any one handed weapons, I don't think this would be something too overpowered. On the other hand, the penetration buff kind of limits the use of light mermen set for chieftains. They already have 2 skills imbued with accuracy and penetration which are the exact stats provided by mermen light gear. Well, Fingers crossed! I really hope this skills comes with a hidden side effect. I think this skill will interact with one of the chieftain's basic skills to give aoe stun interaction? 2. The next skill will allow you to instantly land multiple hits on the target. Not gonna lie, The animation of this skill looks kind of badass. Personal opinion: A tad bit disappointed with the damage. It looks kind of weak from the animations. I was hoping it would be something like multi hit with same damage but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe it deals magic damage? This effects of this skill still seems to be shrouded in mystery. xD 3. because with the skill that removes negative effects and increases the resistance of yourself or an ally, Again, hats off for the animation effect. Personal opinion: Finally!!!Nothing more to say. Waiting for the % of resistance provided at different skill levels, the duration and the skill cooldown. Since it's not an assured resistance like BDs, I hope it has a good duration. Godspeed chieftains! 4. which allows you to negate, think of it, positive effects from enemies. And as a bonus, it will also restore energy. When my friend first read this he thought it would reverse the skill effects. I think he's still high on that idea. Personal opinion: A revised weaker version of the mage skill that cancels positive effects skill mixed with energy regen to counter the high energy consumption issues faced by the chieftains. I hope the mechanics somewhat different from the mage skill. Since the energy regen would be provided by this skills, the pve chieftains might have to rely on this skill to keep up their energy regen. Top notch pvp skill I'd say. Will the amazing animations delay skill usage? Will it interrupt future attack speed chieftains DPS? P.S: I don't see a AOE stun rush skill as mentioned in the future chieftain plans here. Are you hiding within some of these skill interactions or did they go really bold and make a class without any disabling skills? Seems like we have to wait for it all! Thank you for the teaser! @Nolan @Akasha Looking forward to the announcement of the update! Much love, from the US-Sapphire server! What do you guys think?
  18. Hey everyone! We had amazing reviews on the trailer and here is the 1st video of the Legendary Achievement series. It was our first time in the GvG so everyone was still getting used to the gameplay; so not many clashes but still it was fun. We had an amazing turnout thanks to the members who made the time for it despite their busy work, sleep and study schedule. I'd like to give special thanks to the heirs and leaders of Sithlords and Potato who did an amazing job of coordinating and planning everything! More to come soon. I've kept the videos short and highlighted. Long videos gets boring sometimes. 😛 Sithlords Horror GvG - Legendary Achievement Series Day 1 - The Calm
  19. Sounds very reasonable actually lol. AIGRIND won't be losing out on any mcoin purchase but at the same time, it'll make the unbind option more available to everyone. It might actually increase the purchase of said item ergo more coins spent. Win - win. Clever suggestion.
  20. I like how this concept is visualized into the video. I honestly feel the exchange system in game is tedious, time consuming and medieval. It's time for a rework and this concept looks very nice. Most players have low level characters as personal banks with tons of email IDs and low level chars. Seems like a total waste. Please have a look at this along with the gear slot save suggestion and vertical 5 hotkeys. @Nolan@AkashaIt would improve the gameplay experience a lot for everyone. Thank you in advance!
  21. Lol ikr? Thank you Nolan. So this is like a temporary fix for the DK skill till the overall revision to all AOEs of all classes right? This issue certainly needed to be handled 100%. It's only natural. On another note, Forgive me for saying this, but one can't help notice the promptness with which this Magic DK issue was addressed while some of these issues mentioned above haven't been resolved yet. Does spamming tickets to support about the same get faster results? Just out of curiosity, I'd really appreciate if anyone from the team could answer. What action or means of complaint from the player base encourages such prompt response? Do we have to make videos? Or post the issue on forum and tag admins to bring attention to it? Or encourage player base to send support tickets en masse? I only ask because there's a certain section of the US server community going on about how 50+ elves sent support tickets to AIGRIND about the same hence getting the prompt DK skill interaction change. If that's the case, some of us would also like to partake in this hotline process in the future. Like mermen trials pylons and flag, castle door, castle throne? Did I miss anything? @Higgings
  22. Damn, This shouldn't happen to anyone. I feel for you guys. Getting a guild to level 10 requires a lot of money, resources, time and effort of many people. I sincerely hope the support team takes this issue seriously and you guys get the guild back. - Love from US server. #savedelicious
