New skills vs Old skills

I'm noticing a great deal of difference between new and old skills.  It appears new skills have many more disable effects and AoE disables.

Compare Death knight and Barbs

DK has a reverse scatter and a stun.  Barbs have just a stun.

Compare Paladin and Bd

Paladin has AoE disable (and self heal).  Bd has single Target disable.

I think its clear old skills will need a revamp to match these new skills.  Hopefully Devs realize this and are working on it.  In case they aren't here are my suggestions:

Ranger and shaman are fine both classes have two disable skills.

Rogue add a short stun to any attack out of stealth.

Bd make SAP AoE reduce effect (bc AoE) and add a disable effect.

Barbs add a root effect to roar (shorter duration than bd single target version)

Druids replace insect swarm with AoE gouge (shorter duration than single target version)

This is just an idea off the top of my head to equalize some of the disable disparities I see coming up.  What would you like to see?  Keep in mind there are only 4 kinds of disable effects that can be in any game:

Root: can act but can't move, usually middle duration

Stun: can't act can't move, usually shorter duration

Mez/sleep: cant act can't move but breaks on contact, usually longest duration

Push/pull: can't act can't move, usually shorter duration.

How would you equalize the disable skills?
