    • I agree that blade dancer is a shit class now, but giving it movement speed is gonna be way too strong. Damage reduction seems fine tho!
17148889795231.mp4
    • Basic Skills     Parry     Parry rating now grants the character equivalent damage reduction. Increases the character's Parry chance by A for B sec. Leveling the skill increases its strength and effect duration.   Skill Level 1 2 3 4 5 B  6 15 8 30 10 40 12 50 14 60 A 4% 5% 6% 8% 10% Skill Cost 12 17 14 18 16 19 18 20 20 21 Cooldown 18 30     Expert Skills    Dancing of the Blade (Rush)    Applies movement speed to the character for T sec., increasing the movement speed by S%.   Skill Level 1 2 3 4 T 5 6.5 8 9 S 5% 10% 20% 30% Skill Cost 12 14 16 18 Cooldown 18    Sonic Boom   This skill can now be cast without targeting.      Talents   Key Class Talents     Masterful Parry   Increases the character's Parry chance by 5%.    Grand Escape Artist (Unrelenting Onsl.aught)   Increases the movement speed by 10%.   Talent Branches     Featherlike Agility      Dancing of the Blade (Rush +)   Increases the time of movement speed by 2 sec.    Parry +   Adds 1 second to the skill's effect.     Virtuoso     Reduces damage taken from ranged auto-attacks and instant damage ranged skills by 40% based on the Parry chance. Taking damage from melee auto-attacks or instant damage melee skills applies Virtuoso for 10 sec, increasing the Parry chance by 2%, but this can only occur once per 3 sec. Reapplying the effect increases its power by 2% (up to 6%) and refreshes its duration.      Afterglow    When the character's health drops below 40% of the maximum, gain Afterglow for 6 seconds. Each harmful and control effect increases skill power by 2% (up to 12%). Reapplying this effect refreshes its duration. This effect remains active for 6 sec after the health is restored above the threshold.         After the latest update, I can no longer define the role of the Blade Dancer.   Previously, this class was built as a warrior. In the current patch, however, it plays more like a paper assassin. It can only deal effective damage to cloth class on the enemy backline. Against classes such as Barbarians and DKs, the Blade Dancer offers very limited utility in Arena and GvG battles. More often than not, it gets eliminated by enemy Barbarians, DKs, Chieftains, Mages or Rangers before even reaching the backline.   The release of Cata gears has made the Blade Dancer even easier to defeat. Even with three stacks of Resist Spirit and a shield ranging from 2000 to 3000 HP, its inherent frailty remains a critical flaw in this version.   At its core, the Blade Dancer simply lacks reliable damage reduction skills, especially when compared with Barbarians and DKs.   Now that Cata light armor has become mainstream, Blade Dancers wearing two pieces of heavy Mermaid gear are reduced to PVE-only builds with merely 40% resilience. The only way to improve this is to obtain these extremely rare and costly Cata items.   When it comes to skills, Rush skill has long suffered from jump delay. Getting hit mid-charge will cause severe stuttering, preventing the jump from completing and eventually leading to death. I suggest reworking this leap into a movement speed boost to greatly enhance overall mobility.   Next is Sonic Boom. This skill is meant to counterpart the Barbarian's Roar, yet it requires a target to cast, while the Barbarian's ability can be used freely without targeting.   As for the Parry skill: a 30% rate chance makes it rather ineffective. Its original talent only grants 10% damage reduction, which also relies on Parry chance to trigger, resulting in poor consistency. I recommend revising it so that damage reduction scales directly with the character's total Parry rating.        Me hope support can bring the Blade Dancer back to its proper identity, instead of leaving it as nothing more than a high-damage yet paper assassin. Its pick rate in arenas and Catacombs has dropped to nearly zero, largely due to its severe survivability issues.
