Not a long time ago a powerful and honoured druid got bored to this war that has raged for years. He wanted to negotiate with the Legion, and eventually some of the warriors of the legion joined him. This was not accepted by the headmen and the druid was badly beaten. The traitorous mountaineers and undeads were not immediately killed, as they were thought to be under some mind-controlling power. "Once the druid is dead, they'll wake up", thought everyone. However, this didn't happen: the druid and his allies were teleported (by a mage) back to the Sentinel side of Irselnort. Things were not very well on that side, either. The Sentinels believed that the legionnaires brought by the druid were just spies who were waiting for the right moment to assassinate their leaders. The group was an enemy of both factions now, so they had to hide well. After a tough search they found a cave in the swamps, sealed it so it would be safe from the monstrous swamp creatures (imagine if a hungry swamp slug knocked your door and you forgot to lock it).

 

How to open the seal

There are four different quests (like the chupacabra quest, there are actually six of them) that require you to kill a mini-boss/elite and loot a rune. The runes and bosses are: Rune of Night and Day - Solar & Lunar Warrior; Berengar's Rune - Any of bg guards; Astral Rune - Gatekeeper; Rune of Darkness - Animated Armors or whatever there are in the Sanctuary. The rune can be replaced by a number of Ravva's Kisses (the number depends on the difficulty of the boss) or one mshop item (any of the Ayvondil item packs will do).

The quest award is a chest (receiving) where can be found any of the boss drops plus foods and noob high-level runes and crystals.

 

Area: There are two entrances. In some places there are water traps (which look like small pools of water). They damage a player or mob standing on it, 1 damage point per second (can't be countered with >50% defense) and apply a "wet" debuff on a hero.

 

Boss skills

# Lightning Shield (shaman). If a player is under "wet" effect, a small stun is applied.

# 3x3 AoE white flag skill (priest)

 

Minion skills (their names are simply "Traitor {classname}" and looks

* Barbarian (lvl 20 cc heavy armor): Sacrificial Shield [the shielded ally takes only 50% of the damage dealt to him/her, and the barb takes 25% of the damage dealt to the shielded one]

* Rogue (lvl 19 arena light armor, helmet replaced with a facewrap with the same colours): Gouge + Stealth [stealth is canceled if the rouge tries to walk on water] {hair: brown female ponytail}

* Shaman (deep lord cloth set): Wrath of the Ancestor [a black cloud with a wolven head, works like priests elusive threat]

* Necro (necro's novice outfit with more black): Mental Pit

* Ranger (KW set): Beast trap [can place it from a distance of five yards] {hair: light blonde straight female hair, not the free one}

* Mage (fire sorcerer mshop costume): Illusory Chains Reverse [lasts 0,5 s] + meteorite skill

* Paladin (copper craft set coloured gold): Harad's Brightness [mass blinding 4-5 s on a 1 yard radius around the paladin, and 2 s on a 2 yard radius around the paladin] {hair: basic free man hair in black, with a little beard (no helmet)}

* All minions: Last man standing [decreases the attack and defense of allied creatures inside a certain (rather large) radius

 

How to kill

Even a full party isn't able to survive long. That's why some of the minions can be evaded. The party has to choose which skills they want to face.

Boss behavior

Nothing special here. Won't go into rage mode, won't attack the healers (that's rogue's job) and won't explode when killed. The boss, however, is immune to the water traps.

 

Forgot to mention that the traitor necromancer uses 1% of his health when using mental pit.
