This could only happen in Arinar during New Year’s—snowstorm. A year ago on this day, I lost my big brother to this deadly storm. He had ventured out to save few kids from our village. He was a brave and courageous leader, the King of Blades. His brave deed saved the kids, but due to low visibility, he accidentally fell off the cliff and died.
The responsibility of his duties soon fell upon my shoulders and I was the hope of many novice blade dancers. Sadly, I was nothing like him. I was playful, careless and lazy. I knew I’d inherit his title someday, but didn’t think it’d be so soon. Although I was trained by him, I was not confident.
I was forced to embrace my new duty and transform into a serious person. I lost my smile. I wished my brother hadn’t died. I hated snow.
This year the snow storm struck again. I was summoned by the village chief to venture out to save two families stuck near the cliff. I agreed. Maybe it was my turn to die. I did not care, since my life was empty. 
I found the two families crying for help from inside a caravan. The horse that pulled it lay dead in the snow. I began pushing the caravan in the direction of a slope that led to the village, where others waited to receive them. It was heavy. I cursed the storm. My brother would’ve easily saved them. I pushed with every bit of my strength and succeeded little, but my hands bled. The caravan successfully went down the slope—but I lost my grip and rolled away, far from the village, down the same cliff that had taken my brother's life. 
I was dead.
Or so I thought.
My eyes opened and I found myself in a cozy hut, my wounds bandaged. A man in a fur hood and cloak was wiping my face.
“I heard you've surpassed me,” he said, his voice familiar.
I studied his face in shock. 
“Brother?!” 
His right eye was missing along with an arm. I cried. I wanted to hug him but could not. 
“You're alive! Why didn't you return?!”
Despite his pitiful condition, he smiled.
“I'm useless now. I knew you'd take my place. Look how strong you've gotten! I'm proud of you, Eggy. You are shining, whereas my light is gone. But I'm very happy. Returning would had only hurt me, watching you all train while I sat in a corner miserably. Eggy, carry on my legacy. I believe in you,”
His words melted my cold heart. He was proud of me while I wasn't. My heart was at ease. Finally, I felt warm and happy. I smiled after a year.
“Let's go back,” I said. “We’ll shine together, brighter than ever,”
He cried. The cold around us felt warm. The cruel snow storm that had separated us, reunited us a year later.

Guerreiro Amazonense
 

         No interior do Amazonas, numa pequena tribo chamada Coari, em meio a densa floresta amazônica e ao som das belas araras azuis, surgia uma lenda, lembrada por muitos povos como o maior guerreiro protetor das matas, que viveu sua longa vida em favor dos povos indígenas.  
Após ter sua vida ceifada precocemente com um ano de idade, sua mãe em prantos suplicou aos deuses que trouxessem seu filho de volta, um grande silêncio ecoou pela mata... em seguida uma forte ventania balançava todas as árvores ao redor... então, como um milagre o menino começou a chorar... Ele tinha renascido pela benção da mãe natureza...  A tribo comemorou bastante. Enquanto foi crescendo notava-se que aquele “curumim” não era igual os outros, a natureza o abençoou com um dom, ele era rápido, forte e tinha uma grande conexão coma a natureza.
 
            Ele era esperto e criativo, fazia suas próprias roupas, armas e acessórios, e ficava “chibata”, sempre carregava uma bolsa na qual recolhia frutas e pedras que achava bonita... Todos ficavam impressionados com tamanha habilidade, ele também caçava muito bem, não tinha ninguém que o superasse em questão de pontaria, conseguia rastrear muito bem a caça. Na pesca, sempre que ele estava por perto era uma fartura de peixes, depois da caça e pescaria já chegava em casa “brocado”. Logo se tornou um grande guerreiro, muito habilidoso em combate, alguns diziam que ele sozinho tinha a força de quinze guerreiros saldáveis da tribo, sua fama logo se espalhou entre as tribos vizinhas, era tido como a manifestação de uma divindade na terra.
 
            Quando os invasores brancos chegaram, ele combateu todos, sua força era imensurável, os homens brancos não tiveram chance.... Destruiu dezenas deles com os punhos limpos após as flechas acabarem. Quando estava em combate era possível ver seus olhos reluzindo, enquanto rastros de uma luz verde percorriam seu corpo. Após intensas lutas, conseguiu expulsar os invasores, então nunca mais eles apareceram. A tribo fez uma grande festa em nome do grande guerreiro.... Ao longe era possível ouvir os gritos que exaltavam o grande guerreiro, até mesmo outras tribos vieram trazer tributos a ele.
 

 
               O grande cacique da tribo Coari entregou um cocar feito especialmente para ele, aquele era o símbolo de sua importância, grandeza e força, todos ficaram em silêncio enquanto o cacique entregava o cocar, assim que colocou em sua cabeça os gritos e palmas começaram novamente.  Foram anos de muita paz e fartura graças ao grande guerreiro.
 
...Seu nome se perdeu com o tempo, mas sua história nunca será esquecido...

Traje "Elemental Energy"
A ideia inicial do traje seria que ele é na verdade um humano, um cientista renomado de Arinar, que decidiu usar sua inteligência para criar um traje/armadura capaz de extrair os poderes elementais da floresta e transformá-lo em um poder mágico muito forte! No próprio traje podemos ver os fios que conduzem tal energia.

O traje foi feito pelo aplicativo IbisPaint X (não sei se precisava dessa informação, mas vou colocar pra confirmar que a pixelart foi feita por mim, já que vi muita gente colocando arte feita com IA no concurso e acredito que isso seja contra as regras)

Invincible King
 
Many secrets remain uncovered across Arinar, but one of them recently came to light in the deserts of Almahad. As adventurers continue to pursue the path of greatness and glory, a brave blade dancer stumbled upon this hidden secret that happens to be a source of immense strength and magic. No, it is not a weapon. 
It is the royal garb of a deceased king consisting of a velvet burgundy cloak, a bejeweled crown and velvet brown robes. Legends say that there was an indomitable king who ruled Arinar with only a handful of army at his side, and yet never lost a war. How? Well, the secret to his consecutive victories was his ordinary-looking, enchanted royal garb that blessed him with the strength of a hundred men besides phenomenal amount of magic. But once the king passed away, his garb was cast away into a cave as per his orders, for he didn't wish to pass them on into any wrong hands. 
But now the secret has been discovered, and unfortunately, nobody possesses the slightest idea of the truth of this ordinary-looking, antique garb that can make anyone who puts them on an invincible king!

The Impossible Quest
 
On a hot afternoon, a group of blade dancers braved the scorching heat of the sun and reached the middle of Almahad. To their surprise, a wizened old man clad in shabby grey cloak greeted them and offered them cool water. They introduced themselves to the man, shared their details of their long journey and revealed their reason for the visit to Almahad: to kill the deadly Sand Beast created by a mad warlock, who released it into the desert over a century ago to wreak chaos for lark. The old man expressed sadness over the deaths of previous adventurers who had attempted to kill the beast upon the request of the people of the desert, and tried his best to stop the group, since it was too dangerous. But the brave blade dancers did not waver. They thanked the old man for the water and warning, assured him they’d succeed and return to him with the reward.
“What happened to that mad warlock, though? Is he dead?” one of the blade dancers asked the old man.
“He met a cruel fate, a deserving one. Stoned to death a century ago,” answered the old man.
“My grandfather had once fought him,” said the second blade dancer. “He said the warlock had a strange mark on his left wrist that could summon the Sand Beast from anywhere,”
“That arm was cut off by a brave hero,” said the old man. “To avenge his master, the evil beast killed the hero’s family,”
The group gasped and shared looks.
“How unfortunate,” said the third blade dancer with a sigh. “Do not worry, old man, we shall bring death to the beast. We will complete this impossible quest and seize victory!”
The old man smiled weakly, his eyes misty. “I pray you do. Please avenge my wife and children as well. The beast killed them ten years ago. That was the day I lost my purpose to live, so now I live in the middle of Almahad to warn the adventurers and save their lives. Sadly, no one listened and the beast killed them all. But I believe in your determination. You might finally get rid of that vile monster.
“Oh, young adventurers! Go ahead and put an end to it! May luck shine in your favour!”
The group shared confident looks and shook hands with the old man, before taking off to their destination.
A hot, dry wind swept across the desert. The old man’s cloak flapped. A wicked smile spread across his wrinkled face.
His left arm was missing.
Fools. My beast cannot die. The slow poison in the water I gave you shall weaken you in the fight. My beast will live and you foolish adventurers will die. Again.
Creepy laughter filled the hot air.
 
Will any adventurer be able to discover his truth and stop this century-long madness?

The first time I saw this costume I loved it cause it looked like a ballerina and when I saw ballerinas around that horror map I was happy to see that i wasnt wrong 
So I wanted to make this costume for a while and finally decided to do it for this contest, hope you like it!

For the materials I used some left overs of a black dress, white fabric, paper, paint and glue. 

The tutu I already had it cz Ive been dancing for years 

And well my reference for hairstyle is this but without glasses 😅

 

Cool! Terrifying monster 😵

Devil Twins, also called as the Deadly Duo of Almahad, are vicious, human-size, one-eyed ants that have been terrorizing the desert and its inhabitants for years. This devilish creature was born as a result of endless greed of a wicked wizard notorious for his cruel experiments on animals, who had once hid himself in Almahad in order to pursue his evil dream of creating an immortal beast to take over the world. Though he was discovered and captured before his dream could be accomplished, his last creation, Devil Twins remain in the desert, hunting and devouring innocent lives of the inhabitants and many promising adventurers. Their long, scarlet tongue of fifteen inches paralyzes its victim while their venomous stings inject deadly poison into their bodies, slowly draining their life away. The fact that it moves and runs on two legs horrifies people.
 
Nevertheless, holding onto hope, people of Almahad continue to await the arrival of a heroic warrior who will put an end to this monstrous creature, for which they shall be immensely rewarded.
 

 
 

 

 

In the deserts of Almahad, there were stories told of a monster unlike any other - Raml Al Dam. According to legend, it had been created by the dark magic of an ancient sorcerer, using sand from the very heart of the desert.
 
Raml Al Dam's body was made almost entirely of sand, but it was imbued with a malevolent intelligence that allowed it to move and hunt like a living creature. Its limbs were capable of lashing out with incredible speed and strength, and it was said that the sand itself responded to its will.
 
Another disturbing aspect of Raml Al Dam was the substance that leaked from its mouth - a viscous, blood-like fluid that stained the sand red wherever it fell. The locals called it 'Red Sand,' and some whispered that it had the power to infect and corrupt those who came into contact with it.
 
Despite its sand-based body, Raml Al Dam was a formidable opponent that many warriors had failed to defeat. It seemed impervious to blades and arrows, and its sand-like body could easily absorb and deflect blows that would have felled any other creature. Even the most powerful sorcerers found it difficult to destroy Raml Al Dam, as its magic seemed to be bound up with the very desert itself.
 
Many whispered that Raml Al Dam was a curse upon the land, a punishment for the sins of the first civilization that had flourished in Almahad. Others saw it as a test of the strength and resilience of the people who lived in the harsh desert environment.
 
Despite the efforts of many warriors, Raml Al Dam was not a single creature. There were many of them, scattered across the deserts of Almahad, each one as deadly as the last. They appeared from nowhere, stalking travelers and caravans, leaving destruction in their wake.
 
Over time, the people of Almahad learned to adapt to the presence of Raml Al Dam. They developed new weapons and strategies to fight the sand creatures, and eventually, they began to understand the nature of their enemy.
 
It was said that Raml Al Dam was the embodiment of the harsh and unforgiving desert environment, a force of nature that could never truly be defeated. Even if the people of Almahad managed to destroy every single one of the sand creatures, the desert would always find a way to create new ones, as it had done for centuries.
 
One particularly interesting detail about Raml Al Dam was that it seemed to be attracted to the most valuable and precious items that travelers and caravans carried through the desert. Some whispered that the sand creatures had a sense for wealth and could smell it from afar. This made traveling through the deserts of Almahad even more dangerous, as those who carried valuable items were often targeted by the sand monsters.

Fênix Lilás - Lilac Phoenix
 

 
Pouco se sabe sobre essas criaturas mitológicas, poucas páginas existem nos livros da biblioteca da Academia de Magos de Berengar, que possam ilustrar algo significativo sobre essa espécime. São criaturas sublimes e imponentes, avassaladoras e ao mesmo tempo dotadas de forte senso de justiça. São cobertas por fogo mágico desde o nascer, a chama que as envolve emana um calor que queima apenas os desprovidos de bravura. Aliado a sua inteligência, e sagacidade, seus feitos pelos tempos são notáveis. Assim são as fênix, entretanto...
 
Existe um caso raro relatado, intitulado de Fênix Lilás, ou Fênix de Chama Lilás. Cuja a chama tem tendências e propriedades mágicas diferentes das fênix comuns, além de sua coloração de tom lilás predominante, com um pouco de rosa, dependendo da intensidade da chama. Estima-se que um caso de Fênix de Chama Lilás, é ainda mais raro de acontecer do que uma amplificação de nível + 10 acontecer com sucesso sem os devidos cuidados, e de que sua existência não é apenas uma obra de arte em si, mas também a natureza mágica da espécie agindo sobre sua própria raça, pois poder demais em muitos casos gera o caos.
 
Sabendo que de tempos em tempos, uma Fênix de Chama Lilás aparece em Arinar, os Magos de Berengar no passado, tentaram não apenas, aprender sobre ela, mas aprisionar o seu poder, afim de facilitar o estudo. Uma decisão que custou muitas vidas, muito tempo de preparo, e a época do Fogo Infindável, onde várias fênix acabaram sendo alvo de estudo, pelo fato de sua população ter sido drasticamente aumentada, por sua vez ter sido ocasionado pela ausência da Fênix Lilás.
 
Acontece que, a presença da Fênix Lilás, enibe o poder das outras fênix, causando enfraquecimento de cura, a chama que envolve seu corpo danificar seu corpo com o tempo, causar a velhice precoce entre outros aspectos estudados na época. Ou seja, a Fênix Lilás é um acontecimento para controle de população da raça fênix no mundo inteiro, considerando que seu poder é de escala de radar global, e que fênix são conhecidas por serem "imortais", "renascem das cinzas", habilidade essa que realmente a espécie tem, mas que na presença da Fênix Lilás é praticamente ineficaz.
 

 
Voltando com os magos, a alternativa de apriosionar os poderes da Fênix Lilás foi, observar com cautela sobre sua próxima aparição no mundo, e conjurar um traje que pudesse conter seus poderes. Capturar e aprisionar, nesta ordem. Entretanto, os poderes da Fênix de Chama Lilás, são muito fortes para apenas os magos restantes da batalha contra a criatura mágica, sendo assim, o traje tinha 50% de ser eficaz. Uma vez a Fênix Lilás aprisionada no traje, seus poderes entram em contraste com os do traje, e um "anula" o outro. Notavelmente o traje herda os poderes da Fênix Lilás, mas com limitações. Também herda sua coloração e chamas graciosas.
 
É dito que, o usuário do traje, com anos de prática e treino, consegue utilizar os poderes da Fênix Lilás, mas até hoje poucas pessoas foram capazes de sequer vestir o traje devido seu poder mágico. Em hipótese, o usuário do traje, em posse de total controle dos poderes do traje, passaria a ser a nova Fênix de Chama Lilás, já que os poderes mágicos agregam as do usuário, gerando uma espécie de simbiose.
