Comparing heals and defense skills of both sides. Sentinels certainly wins that category. As in druid dont have the similar skill as necro now. Now pala got the same heal mechanics. Then you have shamans totem x BMs tree (One big difference, BMs cant die in tree mode, can they?) As for chief vs mage, remind me which one is ranged class and with better defense and control skills than chief? Plus in raid wars… how do you compare tornado vs death call? You can barely move during those and you Death Calls range is way smaller?

Hello! I want to suggest some changes to these skills: Thrashing Rugged Hide First of all, let´s talk about Thrashing. The skill itself sounds really good, the debuff to pdmg and mdmg alongside with debuff to attack speed. But the main problem with it when fighting ranged that it still allows the affected enemy the usage of skills. What I was thinking was to change the skill a bit to work like Paladins skill Shackles of Justice or Druids skill Entangling Roots . Yes, I am well aware that one is AoE and other is single target skill Chiefs skill is also AoE (5 yards range, but you need to target) and Shackles of Justice have only 2 yards range, but you dont need to target anyone (practically saves time when when you’re casting it) Main difference from chief skill = from lv 4 and more it also silences affected targets So my final suggestion would be to rework thrashing skill to either: Silence affected targets from certain level (whilst keeping the targetting feature, but removing the debuffs in its entirety) Instead of debuff in Attack Speed replace it with Skill Cooldown debuff Second of all, the main survivability skill of chiefs, Rugged Hide. Main problem with the nerf of this skill was the drastic decrease in damage reduction (from 40% to 20%). I can understand the reason behind the nerf of this skill, but I would say it was mainly based on examples of chieftains with Orcinus book, which there are really few in each server. Skill description: Applies the Rugged Hide to the character or party member for X seconds, reducing damage taken by Y% for every Z% of missing health. Question: Reading this I understood is as upon casting it reduces 0% dmg if the character is at full health and initially gets stronger as health goes down. Correct me on this if it’s wrong. Therefore it makes it 40-44% damage reduction at 30% health. (Counted with talent = additional 2%) So my suggestion to the buff for this skill would be to either: Buff the amount of dmg reduction from 20% to 30% (60-64% with talent at 30% health) + also slightly increasing duration of the skill from 13s to 16s Change the skill itself to: Applies the Rugged Hide to the character or party member for 16 seconds, reducing damage taken by 35%. Additionally reduces dmg by 1,5% for every 3,5% of missing health. (65-67% with talent at 30% health) – Rugged Hide on 4/4 So these would be my ideas about the skills. Well BDs do already have high amount of parry given they're dual weapon ability. Which off they would use set like parry axes. Also since parry only blocks melee attacks of course rangers could easily hit easily on them. But there could be a slight improvement, yes.

Nah. Minion = Dog from "Call" is based on physical dmg, so it wouldn't made sense to add magic dmg to its death effect. But I do get the fact that skill looks little broken. But we won't know until test. -
Like I kind of agree with making berserk power passives or with constant consumption. For one single reason. Bds have similar skill that increases their auto attacks insanely. Only difference is that bds skill is passive. Since Barbs are supposed to be a mc equivalent of bds. It would be kinda fair.

And again about stoneskin, since EU server still thinks def barbs are the best and rely only on having high amped gears, of course you would say its a nerf. Because def barbs have no block, parry and that's what makes em weak. Gather and test barbs skills and skill builds before saying anything.

Hybrid builds aren't that bad. You just need to find hybrid build that is good enough in both modes. I myself using hybrid skills setup. 5/5 charge, 3/5 taunt, 5/5 roar, 4/4 stoneskin, 4/4 combat fury and 4/4 shield strike. I have no problem holding aggro, unless full PvE +10 dmgers in my pt. And also I have decent amount of stun and dmg in PvP. I bet this is the best build barb can have overall, because I haven't lost to any barb using this build.

Barbs need stoneskin to survive in PvP. Then shield bash and combat fury for heal. Stoneskin is must 4/4, Then Shield bash or berserk 4/4 and combat fury 4/4. Your build got 0 survival skills. Against tanky classes like bd, barbs, dks you wouldn't stand a chance.

Is this a joke? Barbs with this build is like paper. Stoneskin 4/4 is must for PvE as well as PvP

I agree with you, it is kind of unfair of stoneskin being countered so easily. Althought now when it get recovered by every succesful block, it is sorta balanced. I would be glad though if devs would make retribution stat not to counter stoneskin.

I know that 40 seconds cooldown might be a bit too much, but reduce it to 20 seconds would make barb overpowered. Barbs have great skills that reduce dmg and increase his survivality. For example, warcry, roar, scream of fury and most importanty stoneskin. With right equip you can easily survive 40sec till you heal again. But I agree with you that cd should be reduced a bit, not to 20 seconds but at least to 30-35 seconds.

It may sound useless, but it is really good skill on 3/4 or 4/4. 20% speed and 20% pene increase make true difference in battle. Nowadays Barb can easily reach max speed attack. I myself have speed build and can still tank decently. I myself have accomplished to deal around 10K+ dmg in matter of second thanks to 60% speed attack and 20% pene. So whatever you say, you may not tested it or used it correctly.

We could said the same thing about sentinels before this update. Owerpowered mage, unkillable wd. Also for legion it is nerfed DK, with introduce of resist useless warlock. Of course if the chamges will ma ke legion overpowered then I suggest that devs will make something to fix that. But now is problem with elves being overpowered. So thats the reason why devs buffed legion abit. -
Dont spam amp button. Its worst technique to amp. You just lose gold, signs and spheres.

Yes, I know exact times of respawn big bosses like Elm and Engineer, but unfortunately even when I arrive first I just get killed by big guilds. This is what really sad about on US server. Though guides for Engi and Elm are awesome! I have finally seen how to kill em.

Awesome guide. But there are few raid bosses we can never do unless we are in those top guilds on US server. Because top guilds (elves and mcs included) always blocking everyone who are not in their guild.
