  1. I was looking around on the other servers such as EU and I even checked out the US elf side and its painfully obvious that theres a large group of players by just walking around and checking the market. But the MC side of US is the only one ive seen that has a way smaller population. What happened on the MC side of the US server? Was there a falling out or a scandal of sorts? All i see in world chat is drama and toxicity. Its ridiculous that everywhere else the game is thriving but this server is struggling.
  2. Same, but im in relax guild. Whats your in-game name so I can add you. Im pretty serious on getting new players in. I was able to talk 2 buddies of mine to play and they are pretty happy with it. But you know, 1 person cant save a game from death
  3. You play on US Emerald right? Whats the guild name?
  4. So am I, name is the same as here. Im going to start making posts on the mmo subreddits to see what activity ill get. What makes you post on korean communities? I joined the official discord and it seems active but idk about getting people to help in there.
  5. Sadly this seems like the most effective way. Does the development team take the communities criticism or ideas? Or do they ignore the forums and players for the most part?
  6. After playing the game it does seem very linear. Quest, dg, raid, pvp. I was wondering if there are any ideas people have that could potentially retain the playerbase at early or end game. A comment I saw that was good was adding card games to inns. Another example I can think of is adding the ability to craft our own food buffs. They added crafting years ago but havent really changed or added to it since then. If players could gather ingredients from certain enemies or even boss drops for higher teir ingredients I believe thats would give players another reason to keep playing. It would also mean more people would be farming earlier bosses and could potentially help newer players. It would also bring more items to the economy for players to trade or sell. What are some of your ideas?
  7. I really like that idea and it would help retain the current player base more. But would it help with getting new players?
  8. Thats great to hear as I am going to start as well. What server are you on and where do you advertise? I know its a little dramatic for such a old game but it has its own charm and I would hate for the game ive spent years in disappear. Thats a very good point that I didnt really think of. I just saw that all the usual spots from years ago that were always active be empty. But even so, I made a new character as when i stopped playing they just released new classes. I saw 1 single other player of the first island for MC, then 1 more on the second island. Bringing in new players would spark some new life in the game and hopefully bring back that old competitive feel between guilds and factions. I joined the warspear discord which i see is still active. But no one is really recruiting for game. Do you think theres anyway we can convince people to play and ignore some obvious issues such as a lack of help in the beginning and the shop? I really appreciate the replies, im thinking of dedicating time in-game to help people with newer quests and such. Maybe make a guild focused on helping players and advertising on forums/reddit.
  9. Ive played the game from around 2010 to 2018 before what I assumed what me quitting. Now I've recently gotten back into the game out of curiosity to see the new changes and have found that in the span that I was away the game as exploded i content. The only down side, is the absolute lack of players. A few years ago when I played the game was flourishing with players on every island and in every town. But now its nothing more then a ghost town, and unfortunately some of the old issues are still prevalent after these years with the biggest and most obvious is the p2w element. Obviously, its on the warspear development team to make changes and advertise the game to bring in old and new player into the game. But what can the community do to help bring old and new players back into the game? I would hate to see the game go even more down hill then it already has. Some possible techniques that could possibly help is advertising the game on platforms such as reddit. Or breed a more inviting community in the game so new players feel welcome and more incentived to stay.
