""''''''''First, Reaper has three damage multipliers: base skill damage, skill power, and crit-hit power.
These three multipliers stack multiplicatively, causing its damage to increase extremely fast. Other classes cannot make crit-hit power work in PvP like Reaper can. On top of that, Shaman can provide even more crit-hit power"''''''''''
Which damage classes dont have access to skill power? The stat is from books, which make it not about the class.
Since when critical damage works in pure pvp environment. Against 50% resilience, critical hits' damage is halved. Annihilation guarantees a critical strike in demon form, but we are not dump to spend skill point on it, to see it fail against the block, parry and dodge of Bladedancers, paladins, templars, wardens (the classes that make the most presence in arena currently), and rangers. On top of that, which Shaman spends skill points on tribal ritual in pvp?
'''''''Second, Reaper has a unique damage reduction mechanic.
The damage it takes is delayed and dealt slowly over time. This means Reaper cannot be killed quickly and always has enough time to deal huge amounts of damage, while opponents have very few ways to stop it.
At the same time, this mechanic basically disables the opponent’s life steal. As a result, damage classes that depend on life steal for survival have almost no chance against Reaper.''''''''''''
If Reaper can be killed quickly, it will be called Reaped. If we are to be killed quickly, how are we supposed to charge hates to transform? Dont elf classes shield themselves before entering battles?
Yes, we disable your lifesteal and you cant kill us quickly. But do you use lifesteal in the way it is supposed to work? Stealing health when dealing damage? Check your party composition in the arena; always consisting of classes that dont even deal damage, a warden, a templar (sometimes two), a seeker that spams resistance potions and scrolls to be able to get away with it rather than dealing damage, a paladin with a shield, a druid (with an exception of a Bladedancer who actually make the real use of lifesteal). Lifesteal in that party composition has no purpose other than proc. the book of distortion of life. If the party composition is meant to lock people down rather than dealing damage, then dont expect to be able to kill reaper quickly. If want to kill quickly, use damage!
''''''''''''Third, Reaper has too many passive abilities.
The class requires very little operation. It does not need to worry much about survival because it has a passive skill that protects it from control effects. Its key damage buffs are also constantly active. This means Reaper can spend almost all of its time simply attacking and dealing damage.''''''''''''''
Which passive skill that protects us from control effects? Unwavering will force us to eat 5 harmful effects, most of which are control effects in pvp environment, to get 1 immunity stack. Have to transform to get 2 stacks. All to point out that the protection doesnt come w/o a cost. And why do we deserve the immunity stack(s)? Check the party composition above^^^^. A warden spamming coercion, a paladin fetter of justice, a templar reversed flow, a druid roots; these are just the most typical control skills of that kind of party.
Last time we checked, your seeker's pernament skill that increase damage are aslo constantly active. You can also use your active skill buffs freely in your invisibility and get out of it to spend most of your time simply attacking and dealing damage.
You pointed out Reaper making is the result of people abusing overly healing and tanking ability, which point back to your side because reaper is a legion class and, specifically, point to that party composition once again
