It's not crying . Evryone just need a stable game .
Physical charm high damage less heal
Magical charm high heal less damage .
Pala physical shud have less heal
Pala magical high heal less damage.

Must sacrifice something to get something .
In the current game play physical pala dnt sacrifice damage to gain  high heal . Which is not ok . That is the problem here .

Ur funny comparing 300k + heals to 7k heals vs 13k heal .
    Clown mode lol .
If we run ur concept then physical charmers shud heal super high n do super high damage compared to staff charmers . But it's the opposite .

Go full physical  sacrifice some heal .
    Go magical  sacrifice some damage.
Not have both which physical palas in the current game play are running with { high damage + high heals } .
No meaning of people playing heal classes if a non healer is better
  4. Like
Thats wat everyone is trying to say . How can a non healer heal better than a main full fledged healer . In the current meta Pala heal > necro heal in many game scenario Arena ,GVG, Dgs etc . Pala heal solo > necro heal , druid heal, priest heal or shaman heal which is why we are asking if there will be changes since pala is a support not a main heal .

@Holmes Hey, regarding rogue, as many have stated already (international or Russian forum) Rogue's core issue has not been addressed. Class is struggling defense wise, that includes vulnerability to control/cc. The class simply is not functional defensive wise and is caught too much in cc due to being mosly melee class without resistance abilities. Healing is also a problem as currently rogue has a 15% heal combo that has big criteria to even work. As a fan of warspear and rogue user for 8+ years. If you can fix these two categories, I guaranteed you many rogues will thank you and the class will be reborn again. People will also revisit their rogue char and spend money on it so its a win win.

Here are some suggestions to buff those categories without doing alot of work:

-Healing: Buff heal from trickiest 15% to 25% and make the combo criteria to use it easier.

-Resistance: while Reflexes passive/shield is on, make it that rogue can resist 1 or 2 controls. (This way rogue can put dodge in bracelets insteal of resistance) to maximize dodge build.

-Tirelessness talent: Now reduces Reflexes cd by 1 sec

Lastly- the new ruthlessness skill is not gonna work as intended because as pawned stated above me, with sinister strike gone, healers now can outheal our dmg so the potential for our dmg to grow is really slim. A better mechanics for that skill is, make it give flat 10% phy dmg increase for each axe equipped, 4% pene and 2.5% phy dmg for each sword, and 7% pene for each dagger equipped. Or simply make it give 25% phy dmg to all wep type equipped at 4/4.

Let's make rogue a playable class for once, and buff properly this year! I'll actually be motivated to spend money if i see some decent buffs in next parts of rebalance, I'm not expecting all of these to be added (it would solve all issues tho) but at the very least, defensively, rogue needs a deserved buff.

    Hello @Holmes,

I was just wondering if it was not better to use this just as additional effect for a furiousness or extermination skill instead of taking whole damage skill. There is not lots of skills for rogue that are having multiple "jobs" / effects so i think it could fit Rogues more.

Also im not completely sure why it was needed to remove a whole Sinister Strike, which was the highest DMG  skill that rogue had in their kit--> 160% of phys. Damage and with Almahad talents it was additionally boosted to 168%, which played a crucial role in Rogue's damage ability.

Please check below points and maybe some changes could come also this way as its best time - Rebalance Time

How will rogue deal with healers / support classes or any class that is able restore huge amount of HP without this skill ? Sinister Strike was always used because of it's heal reduction effect, that helped rogue "highlight" their damage potential and indeed act like "High damage Assassin" as per your commentary below. I'm comfortable to say that Healers are able outheal our damage without struggles. As the "Sinister Strike" will be replaced by "Ruthlessness", where damage increase depends on enemy's missing health it will be very hard to utilize this through all the Heals and LifeSteal that is available for the ELFs, so we will mostly end up losing our damage buff from "Ruthlessness" and starting from 0 over and over again. That will cause that in the end Rogue will not deal even damage similiar to what it was with Sinister Strike. looks like this will be more of "Casino" than consistency.

As you might see all over the Forum, doesn't matter if it's the Russian one or International, Rogue is struggling with Defensiveness which would provide rogue more stability to use their kit in fights.  Leaving combat is mostly not possible, because there is ALWAYS plenty of AOEs from enemy, stuns, silences, staggers,  bleeds / DOTs applied to a character or surrounding, that makes Rogue unable to get out of the combat and go back to Stealth, as you intended in previous updates to avoid Stealth being only a 1 time thing ---> which is unfortunately still more than common. Rogue's movement skill "Elusive Jump" is often being used as a "1 way ticket" as it is target required skill. It is doing it's job good enough reaching the enemy, but it is completely useless in getting out of the fight as it needs a target, so only solution is to "jump" to the another target, which is the exact opposite you want to do in this situation. Changing this skill in a way that could get us away from the enemy, would greatly help Rogue Entering Stealth again and providing then needed space to to use our skills again. Rogue's healing mechanism.... Rogue is struggling with keeping itself alive during arena and often is seen as KAMIKAZE with lack of defensiveness of any kind (as Dodge is useless) or healing that would help us in fights little bit. Healing is done via combo of having poison on enemy and landing Trickiest technique skill which can be resisted. So firstly we have to go through the struggle of even meeting criteria to get a healing and even if we get it right, then we end up with 15% heal which is ridiculously low. In 2022 rebalance healing was reduced from 30% to 15% and checks for Damage and Healing were added, but have not really got anything in return that would help us with surviving / healing during battle. We are aware that Game is providing Rogue Dodge as a way of a defense including kick in the Back which i believe it deserves some adjustments as this mechanic is just outdated and doesn't fit  into todays gameplay at all. if game / Developers want people to play around dodge and keep this as main defensive stat, why not add little bit of damage reduction to a rogue based on their Dodge parameter ? It would help Rogue with surviving and people would also spend their skill points into Dodge skill itself.

There is lots of things that could be improved, but i believe these are the main problems. Im sure that im speaking for lots of Rogue's when i say that we are not looking for the class to be broken, or abusing any of the game mechanics (damage dealing, stuns, healing, tankiness etc...) we just want to be on the same / similiar note and not being far behind of other classes.

There will be always  someone saying rogues doesn't need dmg reduction or resistance because they arent tanks blah blah.
While seekers have damage reduction + shield (note they arent tanks too).

Im not saying rogues doesnt have a defensive skill..
Dodge has been a good concept for some years, but lets face it, rn is not so profitable, (not the reflexes, it is working good...perhaps..)

i mean the stat itself, the chances of dodging an attack are higher on reflexes than the dodge stat, if devs plan is forcing us to stick to dodge as a defensive skill, this makes us 100% dependant of kick in the back, which by passing years, it had become less effective, now with tons of resistance, more gain in accuracy because bracelets, the skill being nerfed, etc.

The idea is not making rogues able to dodge 100% always, just make it easier to dodge..
I mean, we're already sacrifying useful things like more health, vampirism, etc
Is not fair to  build up tons of dodge to actually have a decent survivality, while other classes just have a direct defensive skill, like a shield or damage reduction without so much bs.

Personally i think kick in the back skill should be like it was before and  should pass the resistance check, just that, no need adding something more.

with that skill, building a full dodge rogue is making 100% sense

You guys have STILL NOT addressed rogue's survivability and vulnerability to control? The forum is FULL of people complaining about this yet again you add more dmg to the class!

The class needs resistance, better healing, not just some more dmg, how many times people are gonna say this? At the very least, reduce reflex cd to 2.5 sec for better defense and Tirelessness talent to give some resistance stacks instead of a damn useless -5% accuracy. just fixing these two with the addition of ruthlessness passive would have been way more beneficial to the class than this

This just made me want to quit rogue even more and i assure u the 4-5 of rogues left will aswell after seeing this.

@Holmes Can you please explain how was this not working correctly? Do u mean it was not working at all, so u gave rogue a talent that wasn't working for 1 year?!! I mean you might aswell call it nothing because why does a key talent such as this, give -5% accuracy? How is this helpful in any way? How is it fair that rogues have literally no pvp key talent? Genuinely why would a rogue grind so much knowledge to get -5% accuracy from enemies hits. Is this a mistake?
YOU GUYS ARE KILLING ROGUE AND NO ONE WILL ENGAGE IN THESE FORUMS ANYMORE, TAKE A LOOK AT THE SUGGESTIONS FROM ROGUES, LITERALLY EVERYONE ASKED FOR SURVIVABILITY BUFF, ROGUE SECTION HAS THE MOST DISCUSSIONS MADE OUT OF ANY CLASS. YET YOU GUYS ADDED A DMG PASSIVE. IGNORING MOST PLAYERS CONCERNS WITH THIS CLASS.

So you are shifting the goal post now. I haven't said a word about your offers. Higgings even said that you haven't made any substantial suggestions. That's how we see you here. Just throwing prejudice. What reasonable offers do you even have to begin with. Agreeing to sacrifice is not the same as including what to sacrifice.

What about this, we proved already that we accept sacrifices as long as our problem is solved last year even when we didn't include it in our post. Do you agree that we don't have to include potential drawbacks in our suggestion in order to accept reasonable sacrifices? Don't shift the goal post. Admit it and maybe we can move on.

Just to make it clearer, I even suggested Reflexes should increase our physical damage instead. Because I genuinely believed it was what we needed last year. This new Reflexes wasn't my idea. Yet here I am admitting the new Reflexes solves our insta-death problem and accepting the speed loss and not getting the damage buff which I suggested.

We don't have to satisfy you by accepting your absurd request to include drawbacks. We have proven you wrong by an actual event. All you have is prejudice. And we will not comply to your request because we are not gonna fall for that trap. We don't need to include drawbacks in suggestion post in order to accept the necessary sacrifice that will naturally come with the solving of our problem as we already did. And no, if devs end up deciding that we don't need any sacrifices for our improvement, we won't go around complaining to devs we need to get some drawbacks. Let devs decide what to do with our problem but they MUST solve the problem when it makes the game terrible and unfair which is also their responsibility to work on.

A simple example should be how we lost 20% speed bonus from reflexes last year and we accepted that because at least that made reflexes less useless.

Even when we didn't include the drawbacks, we were ready to accept it as long as our problems are solved.

It's no different this year and you can keep yelling your assumption about us not wanting any reasonable sacrifices. It doesn't make it more than assumption and prejudice.

And our loss of speed bonus from last year, which we accepted, is a solid proof against that prejudice. We don't need to prove anything to a specific person with prejudice just to be heard by devs.
  17. Thanks
Shax reacted to pawned in Last chance to counter control effects.
There is also not much to take from a rogue. Skills here doesnt have multiple buffs / effects (maybe 1-2) like other classes do. Dmg buff is 60% from a stealth for 1 hit and then you are back to your base damage. So if you ask me what drawback to make, i have no idea because it already feels like a shit, underperforming class.

damage is below average if you want to compare it with other phys. dmg classes.
Survivability is one of the worst.
healing of the class in a combination of poison + Trick. techique which heal you for 15% of you MAX HP (so with 10k hp rogue running around you will heal 1500 :))))
Class have 3 stuns where 2 of them are one of the main dmg skills where i dont think they are problematic or broken due lots and lots of resistance.

So where would you start with a drawbacks ?

150% dmg from 4 yards, stun for 2.5s. Would call it an average skill, nothing special here.

Stun for a 2nd person is barely noticeable. Duration is like a micro stun you get under tornado or when you are in range of DKs. + second 'STUN' can and mostly is wasted on mob in area (druids and BMs minion).
I dont think someone is indeed leveling jump skill as a damage skill, since there are better skills to use / max in arena so its only kept as a movement skill, which is also only a 1 way because it requires target, so you are mostly using it only in. Otherwise its not usable as escape skill (as it requires target to move your character to).

Fair enough point. Yet Seekers have an option which doesn't depend on the opponent's statistics. Maybe not reliable as it used to be, but people do use it. Rogues have got nothing in this sense

It's a easy concept to understand. They did the same with BDs when they were considered Tanks: Rush skill created as Gap Closer could be stopped by people stunning/disabling the BD in the process of approaching - they gave it 100% Resistence, and 3 more Resistences Stacks given from another skill. Now that BDs are canonically Damagers and no more tanks, you still have them with Resistence and Survivability skills on top of Tremendous Damage Ammount.

Now, the point is: is it that hard to give Rogues a skill which doesn't let him die the very moment they close the distance with another class? Jump skill could grant them some buffs when it lands and some other better ones when it doesn't land. Litterally anything which lets them survive some hits before inevitably kissing the floor.

In 90% of the scenarios when you are caught, there is no way to leave the fight and go into stealth second time. Doesnt matter what buffs you are using as rogue. You are dead.

Agree, its not a tank class. nobody here is asking to make a rogue tank. Adding a little deff. buff and giving opportunity to Rogue players atleast use their skills in fights wont hurt anyone.

+ not gonna mention that Rogue from all phys. damage classes has the lowest damage. Sure those above will be doing better than Rogue.
Seekers in a first place are not in need of damage buffs. They have higher damage in arena with daggers then i do with Axes.

Rogue ability to deal damage highly also depends on landing his stuns. Which is also hard due lots of resistance in the game. If you let your enemy to do his stuffs, how do you want to win ?
Problem is that Rogue doesnt have the space in fights / arenas to be useful. Its a melee class, you have to be inside the "action", you have to go through all the AOE damages, stuns and controls, and through all that you have to deal damage to ppl. What do you think, how would BD, Reaper, Seekers, perform if you take away all their defensiveness and you send them into middle of fight with 0.7s dodge, no resistance and ability to deal with a damage ?

Not gonna mention Hunters / Rangers because rogue is not ranged classs, and is not dealing 6k damage from 6 yards(+).

Their gap closer is the weak part of this class. Hunters and Rangers have got the range advantage and they can keep the opponent far from them - hence they do not have to suffer normally the debuff cyclone Seekers and Rogues have to, with the difference that Seekers can mitigate the damage reducing it or resisting debuffs; rogues do it with stats which get countered by the opponent's accuracy. They're asking to be put in a situation where they can be actual gap closers, rather than Kamikazes.

I’ll tell you where the EU rogues went.

They went bye bye just like the rest of the MC in EU and other servers.
Right now MC has stopped playing in historic numbers on many servers. Why? Because elf have better skills and better AOE in general/ starting islands elf easier/ elf first option to choose/ elf advertised more in ads. In my server elf chars will sit in map 2 and torment Questers until they quit or make elf. Now with the population 4 elf to 1 mc on MOST servers it’s hard for mc to do anything. Most raid boss books go to ELF on every server. Rogue has been an underperforming class for a very long time and can’t help much in mass battles because of survivability. Elf have been dominating for too long, MC need to fight back and get whet they deserve. Rogue needs to be buffed insanely this rebalance to make up for the past 4 years. My server elf can get 200-250 at raids but with effort MC can barely get 50-50

#Make MC great again # Fix the rogue and population balance.

Arena wise, I think what rogue needs is resist buffs + Defensive dodge / Tankiness.
but practically speaking adding movement speed and increasing your DPS solves 2 problems in one.

In PvE aspect, seeker has always been the undeniable number 1 DPS unit, especially in contents such as book ratings and certain advantages in raid bosses and guild raids which have very heavy rewards. It might be very cliche and even I don't want seeker and rogue to be the same concept but the combination of "Movement speed + Invisibility" is too effective to ignore in PvE content of the game. As much as I dislike PvE, The legion side also require this combination.

Besides, I'm sure no one wants to give invisibility to chiefs. Would cause an uproar.

Similarily, Adding movement speed would increase your versatility in arena fights as well as open world content.

    Conflicted.
