When is the update going to come out for iphone/ ipod touch????

I'm checking everyday to see if the update for the iphone is ready. I can't wait to play on my iphone. I'm sure it's not the developer's fault. There are alot of hurdles for them to go through to even get an application update. I'm sure they can't wait to get all our money! lol
