Cuenta las antiguas leyendas que durante la Guerra por la Lanza los elfos forjaron en las Fraguas de las montañas del Bosque Élfico una gema. Tal gema tenía voluntad propia y tanto poder que podía resurgir bosques de las cenizas o sucumbirlos en el caos. Temerosos de que la gema cayera en malas manos, los elfos antiguos decidieron ocultarla en lo mas profundo del Bosque Eterno de Ayvondil,escoltado por un guerrero de noble corazón... Mil años se pasaron y la gema seguía intacta,provocando al guerrero para usarla y sucumbirlo en la oscuridad. El guerrero se resistió a la tentación lo mas que pudo,pero la gema insistía y el guerrero acabó usándola...
