  1. Well I didn't read everything but soon there will be sub classes to choose from thats when barb might get duelweild  axes got bored of my barb long back !

Lolwut? Subclasses? That'd be my wet dream.

Not sure but wasn't there subclasses when the game was released, or at least the skill page had separate pages for different classes/subclasses available. Don't know what happened to it though as I took a LONG break from the game after the beginning weeks.

  2. Might be your time of playing, seeing you posted that around midnight.

I'm playing MC's and see quite a bunch of people around at all times, even at night when I sometims play from work during night shifts.

  3. I'm gettin an error message when using that link above, but I bet Mioco's link is telling you don't kill Evil Satyrs for that quest like the text says but instead Satyr Rogues that are found one map east of the village where you got that quest.

  4. I just hit rank 4 with a Firstborn character and new quests are rather hard to find. I do have a few boss quests and I just reached the daily quests.

My problem here is that quite often you will have to deal with boss quests in order to progress. Sure I understand the game is not supposed to be a pushover with all easy quests and that the game is a multiplayer game where you're supposed to deal with other players to advance, but sometimes getting a proper team is really hard.

If there were more active players then it wouldn't be a problem but at this point when we have quite a little players online (at least during my playing times (europe)) there should be some alternate way to progress.

If the Irselnort quests are reputation dependent then I could spend a week or two just doing dailies to get ahold of new quests then it would be ok, but I fear the new quests are dependent on earlier boss quests (Maraksha, Succubus, Boss of the ice narwhals) which I seem to not be able to complete.

I would like to see some tweaks and fixes for this situation until we get more people to join the game so those boss quests wouldn't become a game stopper for players. I've already pondered on many occasions whether I should quit the game because of this.

A few ideas to fix this would be:

    - Introduce a new questline to get some extra reputation. Something really time consuming and tedious that might involve you spending money to buy some items for the quest. I think that would be sufficient sacrifice to get past the boss quests. Make it so that you either do the chores or the bosses so no one could benefit from reputation of both quests.

    - Give higher ranked players a quest that would give them free travel to first island and back and get some means for people to contact others more freely. This way people could actually ask if some higher level person would come and help them.

World chat or something would suffice but I know it has flaws. Just to think the Barrens chat on World of Warcraft.  :diablo:

Some player listing that would show the names and ranks of people online might work.

Oh and this problem is even worse with the other faction. Got a few chars stuck on boss quests I can't deal with and no new quests available anywhere.

  5. Not sure what you're saying but at that point (assuming the pirate captain quest is fresh) you should be able to move into new areas by doing all the regular quests and leaving bosses to be dealt with in the future. This will change later in the game though.

Personally I got stuck in one point as well but then I found this one druid who gave me a quest. You can find him in the northern watchpost, just east of the harbor area. You can travel there from the harbor map but instead go two maps south, then one map east and finally two maps north. Check if he offers you a new quest.

  6. Lucky for me I managed to get into a fantastic team and we finished all but the black unicorn quest on the first island. Those kicked me to 1100+ reputation that opened a new quest on the second island after which I managed to open up a few daily quests. Only 21 rep to go to rank 4. :)

Would be brilliant to have some database that would tell how much rep you need in order to advance in different areas. On my part I can safely say that if you got more than 3 boss quests on the first island you can't achieve the next rank on the second island without killing any bosses.

The first daily quests are opened roughly at 1100 rep which you can achieve by completing all available quests on second island except for 2 boss quests and nearly all quests on the first island.

So, if you want to reach rank 4 and come back to first island to deal with the big bad bosses be aware that you can't get rank 4 without dealing with the second island bosses or the first island toughest bosses at rank 3.

  7. I'm playing a bladedancer on sapphire server and currently standing at 1063 reputation.

I was wondering if there are any quests to do at this point, other than the boss quests I have active. IT's really hard to find people to do bosses so I thought I'd minimize the downtime and do other quests in the meanwhile.

My current quests are as follows:

    Melvendil:

    Wolf boss

    Necromancer phantom

    Forsaken commander

    Undead captain

    Undead bear

    Ancient plant of prey

    Warlock/Dark satyr

    Black unicorn

    Irselnort:

    Maraksha

    Succubus/fireater

I've looked through pretty much every nook and cranny on both islands. There's no daily quests available at this point like the other faction does?
