Dear Players,

Due to increased cases of account fraud, we remind you the most important rule of conduct in Warspear Online: Never tell to anyone your login ID and/or password from your account. This is not only the risk that your character will be robbed and removed permanently, but this is a violation of EULA and terms of the game. This could cause permanent ban to the game access.

Firstly,  you make instead of more protect system like Secret Q/A you are warning players.

well... some playes make same e-mail adress with their facebook or other social web site's e-mail adress.

thats why some LAMERS can get other's account informations BY SUPPORT TICKET's Account Recovery opinion.

Is it our fault ? i can set up my e-mail of my account how do i want. its not reason for someone finds my email and you give him my acco. info.

for example Lordbloody/Slamface is using same e-mail warspear and facebook. so Jaw got him account. because you gave him. also u do anything . why does he play still?  why didnt you ban him yet?

you are warning us for did you read all terms and do you agree?

yes i did. well do you apply them? why dont you more query for account recovery ?

i think you dont make more protect system  for  prevent to players sell accounts...

To restore account you have to provide additional information.

- login (number, or e-mail if you set it before);

- date of the account creation;

- names and classes of ALL characters on the account, their levels, servers they were created on;

- last payment information (date and type of payment, phone number, payer's name, e-mail, etc.);

- reason of losing account.

 

So... you think that Lordblood/Slamface accounts were restored to the random people by tech support? Please, clarify.

To restore account you have to provide additional information.

For example.

- login (number, or e-mail if you set it before);

- date of the account creation;

- names and classes of ALL characters on the account, their levels, servers they were created on;

- last payment information (date and type of payment, phone number, payer's name, e-mail, etc.);

- reason of losing account.

No one other than the perpetrators know how the password for the account in question was obtained.

 

Yes, the email was visible on Lordbloody's facebook but does that alleviate the guilt of a malicious player who intentionally sought to steal and delete an account?

 

There is overwhelming evidence and admission of this player who claims to have "hacked" a password, along with threats to do so again... With that being said does this incident not at least warrant an investigation into the ip's in question? A look into the logs of what happened? If the answer is no then I would call that sub par customer support, and if that is indeed the case then I don't think it too much to ask that a conclusion be given to the whole matter with a definitive reply, an "I told you so", more so than a generalized "Fraud Alert" upon login. Lordbloody's initial support thread remains unanswered.

 

Not implementing a password change verification email solely to deter account sharing is, pardon my language, ducking ridiculous. This could have been avoided. Your game is awesome, it's popular and growing, protect your customers.

admin for your information, Lordbloody account and Slamface account is seprate account. The email address infos leaked our through facebook/forum is slamface / lordybarb / lordyshop email address account has nothing to done with my archer lordbloody.

i lost my account exactly on the date i made my post, i sent a support ticket provided what u needed. Accurate date 22September2012 21.00 something i sent a support ticket 2hour ago before i made a post in forum. I'm totally speechless got no clue u would ask me WHEN did i sent a support ticket i thought support team is always active on responding ticket. no offense but the question u just ask made me thought of support team din't even take a look on the support ticket i had sent.

that is what happened to me. all 3 char of mine is deleted and no respond from anyone, with all the evident we provided as much as we could.

Please, check spam folders, we did reply (we restored login and password to you) on Sept 25 which is acceptable date due to our support terms: The response time of technical specialist can take up to 5 working days. In case of the account recovery question response time can be increased.

Also, as someone said that tech support restored passwords to third-party people, this is not that case. The first support's interaction (i.e. changing password) was after receiving that letter from owner.

Sharing account data to anyone (yes, that's the most common reason of losing data) could cause that kind of problem. Never tell your password to anyone. Never tell your login to anyone. Even to your friends. Even to your guild.

Developers, to make this game safer i REALLY REALLY suggest (which has been suggested a million times) are IN- GAME moderartors TO protect us from hackers. the recovert account section is to unsecure, the only thing a hacker needs to hack us is email address.

 

 

 

 

seriously admins, log into game more OFTEN and look at trade chat, almost everyone at US.-sapphire knows about this issue and about jaw stealing lordybarbs account...

well... i tested it with my friend. how ? My friend has another account. He give me him account info (only only e-mail) for I test it. I sent a ticket to support team. I just told "[email protected] is my e-mail adress and my nick is XXX i forgot my password please help.

 

 

They replied and gave my friend's (tester) account me. but most important points is its nick is not XXX it was YYY . development team couldnt correct and give me acc of other player? :wacko:  . i mean random ppl can get others account with only e-mail. also i have Screenshots about it. Pls dont drink much Vodka  :crazy: . log in to game and pm me is hard for you?

See Snorlax what happened with Lordbloody, his slamface's email is the same as his Facebook email. So when you go look on Facebook, you can get his email real easy. And that is what happened. He did not loose his email through "account sharing", but through Facebook. So he was not the one who did wrong.

 

 

And as for the topic, I think it is a good idea. If you press the "Delete character" button, there should be a question that YOU choose yourself. And then type the answer to that question that  YOU choose yourself. Because sometimes you are being hacked without sharing your details with anyone.

I'm the support.

 

What did we mention? "Never tell your password to anyone. Never tell your login to anyone. Even to your friends. Even to your guild." What did you do with your friend? Please, don't say that your password don't know anyone. Or ever didn't know. You also had to violate some rules of the game and EULA.

That conversation is no longer needed.

That's not true.

 

P.S. to the lordbloody - please, check spam folder in your mail, to receive letter with password and login.

You just can't login to the game if you just know the login. We didn't restore password to anyone except the owner of that account (and it was later).

About hacks.

There was an experiment on Ru part of forum where one player posted his login in thread and asked to hack it. In a case of success he promised to give to hacker some items from miracle shop.

That account is still active.

its ok. as a rule we shouldnt share our account informations. its not allowed. If hacker (ofc u know what does it mean) got our account and deleted it , what will we do? atleast u can make Secret Q/A for Remove Char.

(So it was not from account sharing). Now Lordbloody is banned, but NOT Jaw? How is this fair? So the one being hacked is banned, but the hacker it self is laughing all the way and still playing the game?

how about make "security question" on menu>>my profile.

if the account try log in from different IP address/device, the "security question" pop up shown before we access the character selection.
