My apologies, but this is not the right place for these kind of reports; people should indeed be careful when it comes to exchanges with other players, especially if the "Trust Variability" is contained in this whole equation. Do not trust the other guy just because he promises you something big: you can never know who's the player behind that character and if he has hostile intentions toward you.
