As for personal insults of any kinds, there is another tool that allows you to ignore the user, blocking the user, so that he/she doesn't message you and all his/her messages in any chats won't be visible to you. That's about it. The fact that @#%! characters appear, you still get to know that someone uses unwanted language. Profanity filter doesn't help too much, since it is easy to bypass it by replacing certain letters of the world with an * or separate them with . symbols. Also, profanity filter only works for certain languages, English, German, Spanish, but who's gonna filter Chinese or any other languages?
