Before I accidentally replaced my relic

I currently have Relic of stunning ability on my lightning bolt, now I want to put a small relic of magic poison on it, will the small relic replace the rare one since both of those are offensive type? But both have different effect and different class rarity

Yes it will replace it. One skill can only have one of each type of relics

What about event relic, it also replaces if it is the same type?

Also is it possible to have the same exact relic but on two different skills? like relic of punishing ability can be used on my lightning bolt and my insect swarm

Yes, since it's still the same type. :)

You can't use one and the same relic on two skills simultaneously, but if you have two of those relics at once, you can use them on both of your skills.

Event relics? The ones from event chests?

 

U can use the exact same relic if the relics are applicable to the skills

As long as they are used in diff skills, u can use both of them

Mind also that relics have got a specific colour which also shows you the type of the relic itself:

 

Red - Attack

Green - Defense

Purple - Empowering. 

 

You can use 2 types of relics ( for now ) on every basic skill. You CAN'T use 2 relics of the same type ( or colour ) on one skill: it will result as the one replacing the other, in case.
