Warriors of Arinar!

The time of a long awaited update Warspear Online 6.1 "Power of Relics" has come. Owners of devices with Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Windows, OS X and Linux - get ready to experience the power of ancient relics and the might of Chaos! This update brings new expert skills, changes of the existing ones, new dynamic events on Irselnort, altered aggression system, as well as relics that will change everything you knew about classes in our game. Before the beginning of time, there was nothing, only the boundless Ocean and primordial Chaos. The White Wanderer banished the darkness with his Light and raised the ground from the bottom of the Ocean, and later it became Arinar. However, the smallest bit of Chaos still remained in Arinar. It tried to break away from this alien world, but failed.

This bit of Chaos grew, little by little, like a tiny wormhole. Hidden, it had been slowly devouring Arinar from within, and then it started bringing hideous creatures into the world. All their existence had a single goal - to find a way beyond the circles of the world.

Out of all great magicians living in Arinar only Berengar could take control over the forces of Chaos and imprison them in the depths of Earth under Irselnort. But then Berengar disappeared. Over the past centuries, the protection charms have been gradually becoming weak, until they finally vanished. Now the forces of Chaos will try to break out of its jail once again, threatening all living creatures. Who will stand in their way this time?


Chaos Invasion

Forces of Chaos have awaken on Irselnort and all warriors have a chance to fight the ancient evil and get precious rewards. Chaos Invasion may start at each moment and it starts only after a certain number of the warriors of enemy Alliance are killed. The event consists of three "attacking" stages.

Berengar's Pylons/Rune stones

The pylon appears in one of the five sections on the enemy territory; they are marked with red color on the map. The aim of the attacking Alliance is to find and touch it, and after that powerful monster Morlock appears in one of their camps. To win in this stage you should activate all five pylons and kill all five monster during a certain time period. The aim of the defending Alliance is not to let the enemy activate these pylons. If the attacking Alliance fails, then the roles are changed and the other Alliance starts attacking.  

Ritual hunt

Now, the aim of the attacking Alliance is to get to the squad of Chaos warriors that appeared on the side of the enemy Alliance and to kill one of the warriors, Supreme Huntsman. The defending Alliance has to prevent enemy from doing it during a certain time period. If the attacking Alliance succeeds, then the third stage of the event begins. If it fails, then the Berengar's Pylons stage starts again.

Last trial

Ancient monster Nab-Shiggurat appears near Nadir-Sard along with guards, the half of which will be allied with your Alliance. The aim of the winner of the previous stage is to kill enemy guards, defend allied ones and beat the main boss during a certain time period. It is quite important to kill enemy guards, because it opens a portal with allied NPC that will help during the fight.

Rewards

Everyone who was present in the area of the final battle for at least 30 second gets the rewards for participating in Chaos Invasion.Every player starting from level 2 may get useful effects "Power of Unity" and "Power of Knowledge" that increase the number of Guild Points and Experience Points by 30% during 12 hours.

Starting from level 14 you also get Nab-Shiggurat's Chest that may contain:
- Beholder's costume (yep, this unique costume)
- common enhancing relics (18 types!)
- Seeker's stamina elixir
- Unity signs
- minions
- gold

Relics

Main feature of this update - relics that allow players to improve any basic skill and make personal builds picking from hundreds of possible combinations. Details about this major feature can be find here.

Expert skills

In this update all characters of all classes that reached level 18 will receive new expert skills. Mostly buffs and debuffs, full information is here.

Many of existing skills were changed for the sake of allmighty Balance. Description can be seen below. (Mobile users - use full version of our forum if you can't see the details).

 

 

 

Chosen

Priest


Elusive Threat. The cooldown period was decreased from 22 seconds to 16.
Word Power. The skill is more efficient now. On the maximum level of development the skill may take up to 60% of enemy's maximum energy.
Redemption. Area of effect was increased from 3*3 yards to 5*5.

Mage


Sun Armor. Now also increases physical defence.
Ethereal Barrier. Decreased number of hits for 1-2 levels of skill from 8-6-3 to 7-5-3.
Frostbolt. Significantly increased attack speed debuff from 5-10-15-20 to 15-25-35-45%
Blinding Fire. Skill now targeted on single enemy - blinds him for some time and deal damage to all enemies in a short radius around him.
Overload. Skill became passive with 3-5-7-12% success chance.
Time Warp. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7
Shattered Stone. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7
Illusory Chains. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7
Blazing Ground. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6

Paladin


Illumination. Now, all mobs under this effect get magical damage.
Harad's Call. No banner is needed when using this skill now.
Harad's Banner. The number of players being damaged was limited. Depending on the skill level the number of targets is the following: 3-4-5-6.
Sun Seal. The chance of success when using the seal on mini-bosses, bosses and raid bosses was significantly increased. It was 10%, now it is 70%.

Firstborn

Blade Dancer


Counterattack. Cooldown speed was decreased to 45 seconds. Decreased damage dealt with attacks to 20-35-45-60% of received damage.
Power of the Blades. Skill mechanics now match the description. Additional damage now only dealt with basic attacks.
Sap. Power and duration of effect was increased from 12-14-16-18-20% to 12-16-20-25-35%. Max length of effect is — 13 seconds.
Sonic Boom. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets due to skill level: 3-4-5-6

Ranger


Ranger Blessing. Now also works with expert skills that deal damage: Fire Arrows (only main damage), Hail of arrows (only main target), Bow Strike.
Evasion. Increased efficiency on all levels of skill from 2-3-4-5-6% to 5-6-7-8-9%.
Hail of arrows. The number of players getting the effect was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets due to skill level: 3-4-5-6

Druid


Invigorating Stream. Efficiency was increased, skill now restores more health. If in 3 tiles radius there are no friendly characters next to Druid or all characters have full health then Druid heals himself. Also restores a small amount of energy.
Tornado. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets due to skill level: 3-4-5-6

Mountain clans

Rogue


Absolute Reflexes. The mechanics of the skill was completely changed. In case of successful evasion Rogue gets attack speed bonus for a certain time period. The effects are not summed up.
Poisonous Blades. The bug with the renewed effect not damaging the enemy with poison was fixed. Now, the enemy may also get poisoning from Rogue's skills.

Barbarian


Shield Strike. Skill deals damage whether enemy was stunned or not.
Charge. Skill now deals a small amount of damage.
Chop. Increased DoT damage for all levels of skill.
Roar. The number of players getting the effect was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7

Shaman


Ancestors' hand. Increased capacity of the shield starting from 2nd skill level.
Earthquake. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7
Energy Field. The number of players getting the effect was limited. Number of targets depends on skill level: 4-5-6-7. At first effect applies on players that are in a group with Shaman, then on his Guild members, then others.

Forsaken

Death Knight


Secret Reserves. Increased amount of recovered health it is now depends on character's regeneration.
Dark Shield. Increased chance of success that depends on skill level.
Steel Hurricane. The number of players getting damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6

Warlock


Pool of Darkness. Limited number of players getting damage. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6-7
Life Exhaust. Now number of health recovery effects is equal to the number of DoT effects.

Necromancer


Deathly Eye. Skill also decreases target's magical defence. Effect stacks up to 2 times. Increased level of successful use against mini bosses, bosses and raid bosses.
Mental Pit. Cooldown speed was decreased from 25 to 30 seconds.
Fateful Connection, Panic. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 4-5-6-7
Acid Rain, Poisonous Shield. The number of players getting the effect/damage was limited. No limits for NPC characters. Number of targets now depends on skill level: 3-4-5-6

 

System of aggression

Existing system of keeping enemy focused on tanks doesn't work as good as it used to in current conditions, hence it needed some serious update. In new version of Warspear Online tanks and taunt skills became way more important and healing skills now also attract monsters. More information is here.   

Presents

In honor of this update, all players starting from level 12 will get a Book of Oblivion and each one who reached level 5 - 20 arena tickets. Hooray!  will receive gifts.

Improvements and hotfixes

Skills that use character's health. Now using such skills will not interrupt movement.

Retaliation runes. Damage received after attacking enemy with retaliation runes doesn't interrupt movement any more.

Chaos potion. Now, during the fight if you are under Chaos potion, there are the same rules as for the usual fight in PvP areas. It concerns aggression levels and the ability (or unability) to use certain skills or to change equipment during the fight.

Highlighting game window on the taskbar. PC users gather around! If you entered Arena while your game window was minimized - it will start blinking so you won't miss it.

The crystal with magical damage for double-handed mace was added to the Miracle Shop.

Thanks for this cool update!

 

Hmmm btw since the relics are starting from lvl10, can you give books to lvl10s too please? Since we might consider changing builds.

Well, ty for the new awesome features, gz for all hard work! Im only disapointed with no new cc armor, any clue of when they'll arrive in game? :good:  :clapping:

Limit mage's chain, time wrap, blazing ground, shattered stones and they don't limit shamans healing totem. Especially during war and on many events like this.. Great.

Limit mage's chain, time wrap, blazing ground, shattered stones and they don't limit shamans healing totem. Especially during war and on many events like this.. Great.

 

It had such limit since the very first day.

Do u mean : Double shots would give Fire arrows nd Hail of arrows nd Bow strike?

Do all AoE skills now have limits for PvP only? Or only the skills mentioned above? For example, Fetters of justice used to have limits to PvE as well, now it won't have target limits ?
