Kaleidoscope 142
Just like the title states, I'd like heavy armor to have mdmg too. Most certainly for paladins to use, also dks maybe. You see, those classes have a wide varienty of 2-handed weapons to use. Which of mostly spears and very few hammers have magic damage that they can use to power up certain skills. Hence only spears and those few hammers mostly have mdmg, other weapons are just a "plan b" to purchase before some op spear amd such. This way they could upgrade their magic strenght with armor, and eventualy accessories. And at the same time, they can wield a weapon of their choice that has good stats but lacks magic damage. It would also increase the value of other 2-handed weapons. Cloth armor has mdmg only in gloves and armor, but the heavy variant could have a full set, because there would not be much of a upgrade from just two pieces. Opinions? Gladiator 1170
Yes please 1k Banner damage already with Ferocity hammer isn't enough. Letting Paladins and Dks wear cloth is a less broken idea than yours, although it wouldn't make sense, but hey, what makes sense in the game ever since Bladedancers used Axes, and some experts let tankers damage more than damagers? poiofrito 14
And aslo u forget palas can heal already more thsn 1k hp being tanks. Make them heal more? ._. U can use magic rings instead of phys dmg rings or non magic dmg rings.
Jzargo 256
Def plate magic armor must be lower than normal plate armor, or devs can create new armor set that it's bonus is magic damage instead HP or def.

Yea actually, something like 2-stat armors (green text) with def and magic is interesting. But not full stat armors with magic. 2much. Kaleidoscope 142
I accept your opinions but you guys are talking like this adds 200 more magic damage or something.
Kaleidoscope 142
make palas a stronger healer class? A bit, why not? Do you even know what a pala is? Btw, they'd risk of losing other stats so it's a bit balanced.
Gladiator 1170
It's actually not bad if the remaining stats in those armors wouldn't be too defensively or offensively good, I mean, if they aren't willing to make Palas decent tankers, at least make them pretty good supporters. NO completely disagree with the topic ...cloth armour usage itself would be broken due to the damage output and increased survivability. def scaling with heavy gear would be even more broken, even a tier one green heavy would be ridiculous. risk losing thier stats..pfft...banner critting 4k damage on a single target and ability to heal more than healers themselves.....just drop this post
