When ever I go online to see if a druid or shaman is better, I think and I'm not sure if Shamans are better healers than Druids because I always hear people on EU Server saying that this Shaman beats me or that shaman healed so many times I couldn't beat. Can someone tell me if a Shaman is better than a Druid because I can't choose.

Just for healing? Druids stronger. Why? Cause druids faction skill gives them a 5% buff on moon and astral magic, so druids will always have better astral if both classes can have any gear. All gear is identical when it comes to stats.

now the reason why people dont like druid is cause they arnt using 'bees'. Most players take 1 look and decide to leave it lv1. Bees are highly underrated, slowing the movement of target and cutting their crit by 19%! That would leave my shaman with a 3% crit rate O.o and dps classes around 5% maybe (and this is an instant cast spell). Still no druid spends 5seconds attention to this skill. My shaman does not use quake 5 and I dont think I would spend 4 points on bees but I would have it 3+ easy if I had a druid. Without bees druids are sitting ducks after roots and no chance tanking rouges and barbs criting 1k+. It would be fun to hear from a drruid playing with bees here, its not worthless. Being without you leaves you far to vulnarable.

some things to reflect on for the firstborn

level 5 bees = only cutting ur crit by 12%

well, my Druid not really to bees tho but still I can tank Barbs and Rouge if its come 1 on 1.

and now, Shaman/Druid gonna have Crit Heal. even 1k+ crit from any melee class,  you can still run and region ur hp.

both class are beast anyway.

lol but what about druid skills like defense which is comparing to healing?

leave the defense skill coz at lv5 only give +5%, leave it at lv1 since it still give u +3%

wrong. Barkskin at lv5 is +7% def moon sun and dark res.

And lasts 4 heal cycles

Bees at lv 5 reduces enemy critical by 12% and atk speed by 30%

Druid has more support skills

Shaman has more offensive skills

they are two different things

so don't act like Druids are weak and say things like this

And shaman have better skills

are u sure lv5 bees will reduce the speed by 30% ? How come?

So I did a quick test with a lv20 shaman..

crit% without swarm was 17.6

with Lv5 swarm was 5.6

attack speed without swarm was 2.3

with Lv5 swarm was -27.6

..and another with a Lv17 rogue

crit% without swarm was 24.1

with Lv5 swarm was 12.1

attack speed without swarm was 12.9

with Lv5 swarm was -17

..so, it looks like Lv5 swarm is a 12% crit and 30% speed debuff.

:D

I have lv 5 bees. Lasts til about 2 secs before cooldown

have u seen enemy with speed -10 attacking u? how slow is it?

Im never aware of enemy' atk spd, but they do hit slower. Animation and all. Makes shamans lightning ball move slow mo towards enemy. Look at the weak blue rank mobs to the left of citadel of dinalt. They atk in slow mo like them.

I thought bees cut movement? Or do they cut all speed (swing/walk)?

cause quakes cut melee atk speed (2 yards) by -20% at lv5.

bees only reduce critical rate and atk speed.

I think shaman better at pvp but druid better at hunting due to insect swarm and slightly higher heal

Ive not heard of a player ever having 340 as base heal... Usually healers have 230-260 base heal.

I heal 234 in heal gear but truely maxed out I could probably have 20-25 more astral, but thats not going to give me 340. Check my shaman spell book thread for a big healing spirit table, youll find heal for 8 astral values up to astral=226.

shamans are good healers and for now the only choose for mc, so I dont get the poll really...
