So everyone knows world chat can get kind of dull or inappropriate really, or even just boring. And communication is what keeps gamers having fun, the ability to interact and meet people. So I was thinking, why not do some kind of World Chat Trivia, or possibly some kind of Other channel dedicated to a game like that. Myself I was working on a trivia right now for world chat. Basically, ask a question, first to respond with correct answer gets so many points etc etc... and whoever reaches a certain amount of points wins. Im sure you can see where im going with this. Their could be rankings, achievements etc. I think It would also bring sort of a bond and more liveliness to the game as people would be in the chat more and you could make some of the questions funny where their is an after question laugh or discussion. When I was littler I chatted in IRC with a program called mIRC their was internal scripting to make things happen. IE: you could make your client say something when someone says HI. Where I am going with this is you could add all kinds of things with the server side of Warspear, like you have the ability to time how fast the responses are and all kinds of stuff you could do. I don't know, just a thought, either way im working on a pen and notebook right now for the trivia, going to see how it works, ill let you know. Of course I can really time people but I can see who gets right answer first, then tally it down and once someone wins by correct answers I can give them gold. Well like I said, not sure if you like the idea, but I have loved trivia chat channels on IRC for ever, even scripted some trivia bots. Well, thats a nice idea just if we except the fact of a small possibility for bot chatting, script users to gain gold. By thr way it could encourage people to chat and keep communication.
