Mhm, a party has a lot of different uses. In total there are 5 people who can be in one party. For example you can do arena fights as a whole party in 2*2,3*3,5*5 mode. All the partymembers will be listed on the left side of your screen with hp and energy bar, to see if they are about to die etc. . You also need parties to run the Astral Labyrint and every dungeon. Then there are some skills which are very useful in a party, for example the expert skill "Aura" of the Priest.
