Also the unsatisfactory for players comes because of several reasons, skills unbalance is just one of them. Solving one problem of many will not stop the complaints. Gladiator 1145 Posted March 30, 2016 Share Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) Great question. For me i think balance is that each class performs his role as fair as others perform theirs. What i see is that BDs beats several Shielded tanks with survivability, giving them less importance, beats some damagers, with axes, BDs can get the highest damage. Maxed or almost maxed out BDs can solo contents in the game, that other tanks can't do without healers, leaving no importance for healers in many situations where BDs are there. Rangers are way disadvantaged by high damage of the environment, leaving us to choose BD over rangers, high damage, and too much better survival. Paladins are weak, they are definitely not tanks at this point. All I'm talking about is dungeons and bosses not 1v1, because we know 1v1 isn't in the devs prospectives. But in arena, BDs will do insane damage because of counter attack. I'd suppose a team of 5 bds is unbeatable Anyways I don't think it's balanced when BDs can do a specific thing alone, but others need to be in party to do it, especially tanks, if we wanna compare tanks to tanks. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Also let's not forget about sides unbalance, after the latest skills fixes, MCs became a stronger side, Shaman Healing Totem should be limited like you did with Banner and Fetters , imo. I can say for sure that there will be no cross-server arena, it's technically impossible for our game right now. But there are other ways of firing Arena up! Rewards and ranks look like dividing of Germany in 1945 and there is more chance you will see elvis walking down the street than meet someone in arena. I am one of those people who has a twink made for arena, which lies there now, unused, because there is no demands... So if this '' important changes'' roland speaks of, can lift arena up again, make people play it once again and stop the currently ongoing ''win-lose party '' system, then go for it coz that's one of the things high up on the ''to do'' list. We also want to implement a system to switch available maps withour server restart, in that case we can make Arena maps rotation more frequently. But it sure did piss me off, when some douche would use that arena to disturb my spam.. 7 mins off pot time is quite a lot, well it was quite a lot back then. And i don't mean some noob running coz he knows he will die lol I mean people who would targetly demand till in that arena, only to disturb spams... Such were really frustrating I understand your problem but that arena map doesn't have to be exactly the same like earlier. Maybe it's possible to implement something like when no action happens for, let's say, one minute, all these people who are still alive will automatically get teleported to the area in the middle (or to one of the other areas) and the teleporters will get blocked. It might not be a good solution, it's not very creative as well, but maybe something like that, just to fix this map and make it for some people fun again..
