To show roland that not eveery comment about every expert skill is just whining about not being able to killing everyone with one hit, but mostly balance suggestion to help to improve the game here a topis about the new expert skills of update5.3 warriors path:

Which expert skill needs to be weakened, which needs to be improved and which is balanced as it is? It would be great if you could share your thoughts in comments :)

 

Pls just vote when you know the mechanics/ saw the skill often, not without really knowing if it is useful or not :)

My opinion:

 

Need upgrade:

 

Sacred shield. Even at 4/4 it does not even take a single hit until it breaks down :-/ And its mechanic contradicts its use as supprt skill.

Secrtet reserve: Need to add either a initial hp bump or to activate sooner. At the moment it is not very helpful because it activates too late.

 

Need downgrade:

 

Power of blades: The equivalent of a whole set of ice queen dmg items is too much for a tank class imho. Even for a dmger. And at the moment it even enhances skill dmg and surpasses other skills (bugs)

 

Undecided:

 

Absolute Reflexes: The dodging rate seems a little too high - but on the other hand rogues needed a buff

Healing totem: The healing is really really strong. But Legion side doesnt have much heal, so i guess they needed it.

Stone Skin: Barbarians are the ultimate tanks now, but they were weak before.

 

Great balance:

 

Acid Rain: Useful in some situations, not op, not too weak to use.

Punitive roots: Duration seems very short, dmg not very high, thats how a area stun should work :)

Bitterness: Good skill in pve, not overly useful in pvp, but with tactical option :D

Power of relaxation: Great vs bosses, tactical options in pvp - pretty much like bitterness

Oh please, barbs and rogues skills will be screwed in the upcoming update most likely. If redemption reflect dmg uses up charges from those skills they'll be rendered almost useless

We have to see first if retribution triggers skills, and if yes which skills. :) And barbs skill usage does not get affected by these runes, while rogues indeed may get a heavy setback.

Wow.... Some people are just hesitant... Don't play dk, think everything about is fair just becuase it's other experts suffice pvp wise, aka no survivability in pve other than ds... Hats of to whoever considered it balanced.

Or maybe necro can summon undead minions with long cooldown maybe one minon a day because almost in every game necromancer can summon undead. To make it fair priest also can summon fairies or angels  :blush: 

 

these minions are OP maybe strong as mob with yellow bar, we cant summon it in arena, this minion last for 1 hour and they dont disapear when u die.

 

just my opinion to make the game not boring and more fun to play ;D

Also, im quite statisfied with the results.

 

A bit shocked about the results on sacred shield, but i guess thats because i am a pala myself.

Bd's new skills are too weak all of them need a better upgrade.

 

Shamans are balance.

 

druid is the only class without stun add more stun skills pls.

Next time bring something sensible to the topic poley instead of instigating people

And just because you have numbers mecha doesn't say anything, when that extra 10k def gives 1-3% resistance

Ways i reckon some skills can be improved without affecting overall stability too much...

 

Deathknight - allow regeneration to crit, but also make it a fairly high chance to crit.

 

Warlock- with every hit, the skill has a chance to disable

Instead of just 1 hit only

 

Bladedancer - decrease the buff and make it base damage only?

and 2 people who voted nerf sacred shield must be expert paladin for 5 years

Those must be trolls, I didn't consider them. Like those 2 who voted to buff Power of Blades. They can't be serious.
