nick0515 3
When using a shield is it worth maxing out block? Ie using shielding runes and gear that has block? Or is it better just to focus on physical defense? Block only works against physical attacks right? My pala is primarily for lvl 14 arena and will use a good sheild and mace. [email protected] 7
block works against all attacks its your call actually but i prefer block enchants because if you can block you will get of all the damage of that attack. With def rune maybe 1-2dmg each attack. I do not use block rings though, you lose some good stats, they have mana, life regen and stuff. MCocktail 183
All in or all out. But as yuri said, block rings arent that good so stay away from block :/

Gladiator 1145
If you would like to solo-tank strong bosses(500-800 dmg) with 1 healer then get 15% block.. if you would like to end a pvp with the least amount of damage then get block.. That's it.. And since Paladins now have to use shields for the stun skil, why not make a block set? It's actually useless to use a shield without maxing block as much as possible. And for the block rings.. Yeah, unfortunately, devs haven't made yet a perfect block ring. But I personally use that craft ring lvl20 (mdef/block/hp) and new lvl22 (mdef/block/max mana/hp regen).. I use them in pvp too vs tanks and physical damagers. Since that lvl22 ring isn't available, I'd say block/hp rings are pretty good if u wanna get a set. And anyways, what stats are missing in block rings? Magic/physical damage and accuracy.. well, in pvp I'd say save at least 400 dmg rather than healing 50hp or dealing 100 banner dmg. Same in tanking, I'd rather tank safer than killing the boss with 20 secs less. And my accuracy is not bad too, 18-20% even with block rings. On the other side, I keep damage rings for dung or casters pvp, and Magic rings with spear. So basically 1 build isn't enough. nick0515 3
Yeh eventually I might have several builds. To be honest though at the moment this character is mostly for fun. I plan to stay level 14 for ages and arena spam. I also want the character to look cool (without a costume which I hate) so will sacrifice somes stats for a cool looking cloak and helmet. I'm a noob and paladins and am sort of aiming for an all round balanced build. Jack of all trades but master of none. I'm crafting him the level 14 sheild and mace though so he should do okay if I can afford to amp them enough not to die every time. There are level 10 block/hp blue rings which I like but level 10 is so low so might get level 13/14 purple rings with magic power or maybe block rings. Or even one block ring and one magic power. MCocktail 183
At 14, if you dont allin on heal, magic can be ignored quite better than on high levels because of the lack of expert skills. If its 14, just go all in block xD (But a lvl14 mace with magic is nice ofc) And something else: Dont u dare wear something else than sated trolls mask
