September 30Sep 30 Hello all,I’m bringing this topic up again because I believe it’s extremely important especially for players who are playing staff classes, and I’d really love the developers to take a look at it.Although "Quick skill self targeting" is an excellent feature, with a small adjustment it could become even better and more useful for Android players.I would suggest reducing the long-press activation time for quick self-targeting by about 1 second. Especially in PvP, the current 2-second activation time is too long and leaves you vulnerable. I believe this is a feasible change that would make gameplay on android devices much smoother and more enjoyable for users.Ty GMSorrowday
October 1Oct 1 For example, a quick-cast or instant-cast feature targeting oneself or the nearest ally (Self-Cast / Smart-Cast).As a successful example of implementation, we can look at the control system in Albion Online, where such settings significantly increase combat dynamics and player comfort.

In my case I never play on pc, and I think many other ppl play that way as well.On 10/6/2026 at 9:52 AM, Tralala said:Good idea, long press is Not a practical solution, its too slow.Thx for comment

The way it works right now is that when you have a skill that is on cooldown, you can pre long click it if you start the click when the amount of remaining cd is about the same as the long clicks duration. This lets you quickly self cast skills instantly when they're off cd, which is a big help on phone. Making the long click period any shorter than it already is would make that a lot harder, because once again, it's already pretty fast and nowhere close to that 2 seconds number. I play mage and the resist skill used in this way is basically useless. Prob BCS Ur playing one of the best priests in game you don't feel it, and Ur using heal and shield, that has diff dynamic compared to resist skill, and for resist you want it to be applied as fast as it can get...Anyway thx for comment

The long tap itself is already under a second. In fact it probably already is exactly that 0.5 secs you're requesting. You can see when my tap starts and when the skill activates in this clip. It's almost exactly 0.5 secs. This 2 seconds thing is nonsense which you're either making up or you're confusing it with animation cancelling or something else that's completely separate.VID_20261008_181830.mp4In fact I'm almost positive you're confusing it with animation cancelling. Here is a clip where I first use shield with long tap, then by normally using it on myself and on the 3rd I animation cancel. If you pay attention to my buff bar, you can see that there is a delay between the skill being activated and when the shield buff itself appears on the first 2. The delay is there regardless of the way I casted it. Now if you look at the 3rd shield, you can see the delay isn't there. It's not because of long tap, but because of animation cancelling.Record_2026-10-08-18-36-17_c919c9a1cd92b191011af9968d4bf81f.mp4Also here is a clip of the same animation cancel using long tap.Record_2026-10-08-18-40-35_c919c9a1cd92b191011af9968d4bf81f.mp4The delay has nothing to do with the long tap and it definitely isn't anywhere near 2 seconds. The only way that could be true is if mages resist skill specifically interacts with these mechanics differently. Edited Friday at 02:11 AM2 days by vavavi
Friday at 10:47 AM2 days Author Since we both agree to disagree, I would love @gm warspearr to tell us exactly how long does it lasts? One thing I know for certain is that's useless in PvP, especially for mage.
