August 31Aug 31 Administrators Warriors of Arinar! For years, you've honed your skills in battle, fought alongside trusted allies, and crushed countless enemies. Great heroes have risen and legends have been born – and until now, every realm has forged its own history. But what if the walls between realms came down, forcing you to test your strength against warriors you've never faced before? Get ready for the cross-realm tournament – a brand-new PvP format where heroes from different realms will clash to prove who deserves to stand among Arinar's finest! They say war never changes. I have seen it in every guise, heard every verse of its terrible song. Even now, it rings in my ears: the roar of battle, cries of rage, the dying gasps of the fallen, mingling with the snap of bowstrings and the clash of steel and bronze. Centuries will pass, and none will remember why the war was fought. In the face of eternity, the just and the guilty are no different. But glory and valor shall endure through the ages! So fight, and cast fear aside! Fight where ages meet, at the farthest reaches of worlds and realms. Let your blades sing – and with every stroke, let the battles of ages past and those yet to come rise before my eyes once more! The blind old man fell silent. For the briefest of moments, a smile touched Orin's lips – the Cursed King who had once dared to defy the Gods themselves... and fate.Today, we're taking you behind the scenes of the cross-realm tournament: how it works, who can take part, and what rules will shape each battle. Keep in mind that the update is still in development, so all features may change before release. The cross-realm tournament is scheduled to launch in autumn 2026.About the Cross-Realm TournamentThe cross-realm tournament is a new PvP format that brings heroes from different realms together in a shared competition, complete with its own schedule, rankings, and rewards. To participate, your character must be level 31 or higher. You'll be able to enter the cross-realm tournament through the new Cross-Realm Tournament button in the Activities section of the radial menu. There, you'll find everything you need to know: the active tournament mode and schedule, your current rating, your available tournament tickets, and the rewards you can earn. While a tournament is active, you'll also be able to find it in the Activity Center. Each cross-realm tournament will run for one week on its own schedule. Battles will be available every day during designated time windows, with countdowns in the tournament window showing exactly when the next battle period begins and ends.MatchmakingWhen the cross-realm tournament first launches, heroes from all realms will be brought into a single shared pool, with the same schedule and matchmaking system. Later on, we're considering dividing realms into separate clusters, each with its own matchmaking pool, schedule, and rankings. Cluster lineups will remain fixed throughout each tournament week, so once a tournament begins, your realm won't suddenly be moved to another cluster.Tournament TicketsSkill and determination will only get you so far – to compete for a spot among Arinar's mightiest fighters, you'll also need a tournament ticket. Every day, each hero will receive a set number of free tickets. Are you on a winning streak and don't want to call it a day? You'll be able to purchase additional tickets, up to a set daily limit. You'll also be able to gift an additional ticket to another hero on the same realm and within the same faction! However, gifted tickets won't let either player bypass the daily restrictions. Each ticket will count toward the additional-ticket limit for the recipient, and will be spent under the same rules as a ticket purchased for yourself.RegistrationTo enter a battle, you'll need to assemble a party that matches the format of the current tournament session – for example, 3v3 or 2v2. Only the party leader can queue the party for battle from the Cross-Realm Tournament window. Before joining the queue, make sure that:Every party member meets the minimum level requirementEvery party member has at least one tournament ticket availableEvery party member passes the location check, just as they would in the ArenaOnce you enter the queue, the matchmaking system will search for opponents using League-style matchmaking within the relevant cross-realm cluster.Cross-Realm Tournament RulesBefore the fighting begins, both parties will have a short preparation phase with a countdown timer. Use this time wisely! Just remember that only a limited selection of consumables can be used during preparation. Once the battle begins, your setup is locked in: you won't be able to change equipment, switch between skill sets, activate or deactivate skills in your combat set, change active relics, swap talents in your talent cluster, toggle talents, or use consumables. As soon as the preparation phase ends, both parties will find themselves right on the battlefield! There's no separate gathering point – the fight takes place entirely on the battlefield. Once you're in, you won't be able to leave until the battle is over. Anti-Draw MechanicTo keep tournament battles from dragging on for too long, a special mechanic will gradually turn up the pressure as the fight continues! After a certain amount of time, all heroes on the battlefield will begin taking increased damage. The effect will keep stacking with no upper limit, growing stronger and stronger until the battle ends.Rankings and RewardsIn the cross-realm tournament, the outcome of every battle will affect your position in the tournament rankings. A victory will award roughly the same number of rating points regardless of your current position. However, a loss will cost you points – and the higher your rating, the more points you'll lose.Your progress won't disappear completely when the next tournament begins. If the following tournament takes place within the same cross-realm cluster, your previous rating will be adjusted downward rather than reset to zero. In other words, a strong finish in one tournament will give you a head start in the next!Much like League ranks, your cross-realm tournament rank will increase as your rating rises. There are 4 main rank tiers:Bronze- Bronze I - Bronze II - Bronze IIISilver- Silver I- Silver II- Silver IIIGold- Gold I- Gold II- Gold IIIPlatinumThe cross-realm tournament will feature several types of rewards, including rewards for individual battles and for reaching new ranks. But the competition will continue beyond that, as the strongest participants fight for a place on two separate leaderboards: the cluster leaderboard and the realm leaderboard. The cluster leaderboard will rank the best players across the entire cross-realm cluster, while the realm leaderboard will determine the top players from each individual realm within that cluster. And what awaits those who make it all the way to the top? We'll share more very soon!Ready to prove which realm is truly the strongest? The Warspear Online Team

Cross-server Arena should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their Arena Level! This is the only way to keep the game and the Arena system alive and active. Please use some common sense and think about the long-term health of the game. Please make cross-server Arena available for all Arena Levels, not just Level 31 and above. Every player should have the opportunity to participate!
September 1Sep 1 First of all, all levels should be included in the Cross Realm Arena update. There are fewer players and less demand at lower levels, so the low-level brackets need more attention to keep the game alive and active.Second, for high-level players, even if the Cross Realm Arena is not added to their bracket, it would still be fine because they can easily find a queue due to the larger player base. Unlike at lower levels, where the community is already inactive and it is difficult to find opponents. That’s why I believe all levels should have access to the Cross Realm Arena. This would help keep every level bracket active and give more players a reason to continue playing the game.

September 2Sep 2 I strongly disagree with the planned PvP cross-matching system that will only allow players from level 31 to 34 to be matched across all servers. This update completely overlooks the players in the lower-level PvP arenas. The level 6–30 arenas are already struggling with low player activity and long matchmaking times, and excluding these players from cross-server matchmaking will only make the situation worse. These arenas need cross-server matchmaking even more urgently than the higher-level arenas. If players from level 31–34 can be matched across all servers, why should players below level 31 be left behind? The result will be predictable: the lower-level PvP arenas will become increasingly empty, making it difficult or even impossible for players to find opponents. This will discourage new and progressing players from participating in PvP and ultimately hurt the game’s long-term player base. Please consider implementing cross-server matchmaking for the lower-level PvP brackets as well, especially levels 6–30. Even a system that gradually expands matchmaking across servers when there are not enough local opponents would be a much better solution. The goal of PvP matchmaking should be to ensure that players can actually find opponents, regardless of their level. The current plan solves this problem for high-level players while leaving the players who need the solution most behind. Please reconsider this decision before the update is released. Do not let the level 6–30 PvP arenas die out. Give these players the same matchmaking opportunities as the higher-level players.Thank you for listening to the community and considering this feedback.

September 4Sep 4 I have to say, this is probably the update I’ve been most excited about in years. The idea of strong players from different servers finally being able to meet and compete against each other is something I’ve wanted to see in Warspear for a very long time. It makes all those years of building and improving our characters feel much more meaningful when we can finally test them against players beyond our own servers.I’m really looking forward to seeing how the Cross-Realm Tournament develops. I also hope this is just the beginning and that we’ll eventually see more cross-realm content in the future.I do have one question about the server clusters:Will the tournament cluster be determined automatically by a character’s original server, or will players/teams be able to choose which cluster/region they participate in?For example, could a player from EU-Emerald or US-Sapphire choose to participate in the Asian cluster together with players from SEA servers?
